  1. This isnt the place to talk about it however I would google it. People have made several youtube videos and players have taken up coding their own private servers
  2. Now that rocket has approved private hives, I would like to host multiple servers linked to a single database. I plan on running the SQL database on a dedicated virtual machine with about 4-5 servers linked to it to begin with the option to add more. Could anyone provide me with a guide or some insight on how I should proceed to do this? I have been able to host single servers with their own hive but I'm unfamiliar with exactly how to tie other servers into that database. I assume they each need their own instance ID. Currently I'm using anti_rockets server guide to run my current server.
  3. This is a known bug. Refer to http://www.dayzwiki.com/wiki/Known_Bugs about the 12th line.
  4. I am one of two admins on US 406 who were both online at the time. The server was running at about 35/40 players when a message appeared on the lower center of the screen that said, "Uleet this is the fifth time you've given away your server. :)" About 10 seconds later EVERYONE on the server died. We then proceeded to reset the server and change admin/rcon passwords. Our passwords are secure and only two people know them. Just thought I'd report this. I also noticed that i lost rcon connection about 5 minutes before it happened.
  5. We have rented a server with Defcon servers and are attempting to get it to run. I can see the server in the Arma II server list but it says "creating" under the status and when connecting, it stays stuck in a "Wait For Host" screen and never loads the lobby. The server also does not appear in Six Launcher. Am I doing something wrong here or did I possibly forget a step? There are no great tutorials for how to get a server running. The only issue I feel like it could be is not having or applying for an instance ID. However, when applying for the instance ID it asks for information about that server that I don't have. Could this be the issue? And if so, what information should I apply with to get an instance ID? Also here is my config file in if helps, Any help would be appreciated
