    Had the exact same problem 5 min ago. Finnaly I found a cco, which I was very proud of, found a crash site with a AS50.. Logged off in Stary, logged in 20min later aaandddd... Everything's gone. Even my backpack... Even my pistol is gone, all the ammo is still there, even the food in my inventory is still there. Just everyting IN, and the backpack itself, is gone, and all the weapons in my inventory... Can this be solved like, ASAP? Put lots of hours into this.. :|

    Got the black fade too, just got it since the 1.7.2.2 update. EDIT: Found this on another topic: The reason some players are getting this constant fade-to-black and back in-game is because server owners need to update their dayz_anim and dayz_code files. The problem is the only way to get hte dayz_code file at the moment is via six launcher, so I just grabbed it off my computer and moved it to my server. Guess the servers need to update.
