Hey there guys, Badger back from the emotional conquest that was Operation: Father Grigori and today I'm going to be taking my first steps into Chernogorsk. For those of you that don't know the legacy of Stephen, it's recommended you view the thread here. It's recommended that you watch it first, otherwise a couple references won't make sense! Furthermore if you're just joining us recently, I've set out on a mission: To spread philanthropy and good will across Cheranus. Initially I dropped everything. Literally everything, even my backpack. I've come a long way since my startings on the coast west of Electro. Today we're at the lighthouse between Cherno and Electro. *Challenging me is reccomended. If you want to make my life a nightmare to see if you can deter me from philanthropy, you can damn well try. But do try to be realistic! Any good challenges will be implemented in the next Operation. *At the end of each operation, please vote to say which location I should head to next! The maps the limit. Without further ado, Operation: Wet Steak: *Current Challenges: 1) Start with no loot at all. (Except what is found/given to me) 2) Items in my backpack are only for other survivors. This day's operation is already complete. There's no use telling me to do anything, unless it's for the next operation. Part 2 to come soon.

It'd be nice but chances are, realistically "holding" a city is impossible because nobody is going to be online ALL the time, so another clan could just roll right in and occupy it, popping off the trickle of players who log back in over time. It'd be more like a suicidal version of a "King of the Hill" gameplay with no victor. Plus I don't think the mechanics can handle it, but what do I know?

Because the idea is you're an ex-military soldier who washed up on shore for undisclosed reasons. I don't know about you but I don't normally swim with crowbars. We're really lucky to get a flashlight or even the bandages. Painkillers too. I'd give all players a crowbar but I'd probably strip them of everything else instead, including their backpack. Because if you try to hurt someone with a crowbar you're just gonna get hit and bleed out to death if you try to go ninja on a zombies ass. No reason to kill eachother on the shore then. Nobody ain't got shit to take.

Unrelated news, my brother accidentally shut himself in an outhouse while trying to pick up loot, it broke both of his legs and killed him. I guess you can say things "really went down the shitter." BA DUM TISH!

Because it's physically impossible for a person to improperly hit a person. If your axe has a beard to it, it could easily get caught on a bone or an organ just like it would be used against a sword. In theory it's a great idea, just headshot the zombie. In practice (and especially considering how fast they move) you're probably gonna miss a lot unless you deabilitate them first. So that means knocking them off their feet with a swing (if you can time it with that insane speed depends how heavy the axe is, how fast you are ect) In an unfortunate situation which will probably happen, you wont get the momentum on the swing before they reach you. So you're going to have to do a short, fast swing like the player animation does by gripping the underneath of the head. It's fast, short, but doesn't have gravity working with it as much and in that given situation, I think a blunt blade isn't helping the situation where the momentum / gravity isn't as great since you're striking from at shoulder height because bitch be up in your goddamn face.

Seriously, no joke. I do a video series about being NICE to random people I meet, even if it means my own death. If I was trying to sport expensive medical supplies around with good will, shooting me is a great idea. Blood bags for days. I hate getting shot out of the blue with no chance to defend myself, but that's what makes it exciting. It might feel like bullshit but that's life. Someone gets the jump on you and then you die and if they did it without hesitation (which a lot of people would in the desperate need for supplies), they probably wouldn't feel a goddamn thing. Some men just want to watch the world burn, after all. Not everyone feels bad about kicking your sand castle. It's a very sad fact of life.

Congratulations, you've completely missed the advantage of why a weapon is best if it stays sharp. You can still inflict damage with it but jesus christ it'd probably get stuck in the Zombie if it wasn't sharp enough to pull it's way out. Zombies don't care about how much it "hurt". They don't feel pain anymore. Sure, you want to use the against a player? Be my guest. but in the battle of ingame rock, axe, shotgun, I know what I'm using.

As a member of a swordfighting theatrics group, have you tried to fight anything with two fireaxes recently? I don't think they teach that in the army either. We're not playing Assassins Creed here, and shit, I have trouble weilding a two handed axe and a short sword effectively. Plus it's probably not possible considering how hamfisted melee combat is-- and being entirely honest I'd only use one weapon at a time against Zombies. Preferably one with a long reach and keep the other one sheathed in case you lose the first one in the pile of corpses. EDIT: Furthermore we're lucky the Axe gets 10,000 "swing rounds", a normal blade would dull on flesh much faster than that. It's extremely generous. You'd have to sharpen your axe after every few encounters.

I'd do that, but generally I struggle to defend myself from bandits as it is. I don't think I'd stand a chance at the NW Airfield. But it's worth a choice. Pick a place for me to go next if you want! Although I'd appreciate less comments about religion, being agnostic myself, I don't stand well for ill-talk from either side of the fence.

Hey there, this is a really quick question- for my video series I suddenly seem to encounter a lot of people that have extremely quiet, muffled mics where I CANNOT hear them. I would normally think this is their problem, but one person I encountered sounded fine right up until 10 minutes later, just nope-- voice was inaudiable. I've turned up the audio setting all the way but see minimal change. Any idea on what I should do?

The game volume is at minimum setting already.

Being honest I wouldn't mind it. I still get enough from just knowing the Username. When my squad got shot down it horrified me to find the pile of corpses I found were in fact NOT my teammates and this Bandit had been here for a WHILE.
