DX11 would have been awesome, but the engine can already produce beautiful visuals. If you're telling us that it will look identical graphically to ArmA II I'm perfectly happy with that. I think there are some people who are deluding themselves as far as visuals go. Anyway thanks for the reply, I'm still buying it.

I'm not saying that it's ugly, what I'm saying is that there is no improvement over ArmA II. As it stands, with everything ramped up ArmA II can be a beautiful game. The point I was making is that all of the people saying "ZOMG I CAN SMELL THE GRASS ITS SO REALISTIC" are obviously looking at these shots through some rose tinted fanboy glasses, or they're playing the current mod on very low settings. I'm still looking forward to standalone, I guess I was just expecting things to be a little prettier

To all of the guys posting about how amazing the screenshot looks; are you all playing the current mod on the lowest graphic settings or something? It looks IDENTICAL to the current DayZ, no more realistic AT ALL. I'm currently using the highest possible settings for ArmA II, and there's not a single bit of difference. I was totally psyched for everything getting a revamp, but this has thoroughly disappointed me.

You're playing a game where the dead eat the living for sustenance. What about people who are agoraphobic, or haemophobic? Should we make the whole game inside, and without blood, just so they can play it? What about the people who are kinemortophobic? Hey guys, I'm having a problem playing at the moment as I got damaged down to low blood (about 3k), and had flashing vision. After locating and blasting an unsuspecting cow, I cooked the meat and ate until I got to just over 10k blood. The problem now is that my vision is constantly blurry (not flashing as it does on low blood, just blurry). I'm not shaking or anything when I jump into first person perspective, and even in third person it's now difficult to see more than about 50 feet with any degree of clarity. Can anyone clear this up for me and give me advice on what I need to do? Thanks :)

Whilst I know some people are of the mindset "once a cheater, always a cheater" and will flat out refuse to assist you because of it, I see no harm in telling you the truth. BattlEye bans your ID, which is tied to your Steam account. It doesn't distinguish based on IP address or anything like that. Using a different key will solve the problem. The bottom line is that people who have hacked are getting banned, and BattlEye will continue to do it. I know that people here will continue to yap about getting killed by hackers every ten minutes, but that's just bull. There's an awful lot of rage infused hyperbole bandied about these forums, just make sure you don't act the prick again and try "new scripts".
