If you watch the latest Devblog the new physics system and archery components are demonstrated. I haven't got a link handy but you'll find it on YouTube if you look.

Ammo scarcity is something the devs are looking at. They don't want it to be easy to gear up, and the general idea is that scarcity will be a good anti-KOS measure. Time will tell.

None of them at the moment, mate. We had the AKM, and AKS-107 in the mod. I'd imagine that they'll be introduced soon enough, given their frequency in real life. I know what you mean, but if you hit the first shot, the second is pretty much a given since it's very likely you'll break the target's legs.

Overuse in other games holds no weight here. The AK series of rifles is all over Eastern Europe and Russia, for obvious reasons, and so deserves to be adequately represented. I would also like to see the Steyr Aug make an appearance, as it's another European weapon which several of our armed forces use.

For all intents and purposes the AKM is essentially identical to the 47. The .74 isn't really on par with the AKM or 47 as it uses 5.56 rounds. Gotta have that 7.62 FMJ, son.

They can keep the Makarov themselves unless they bring in the SD. I would, however, very much appreciate the addition of the AKM.
