I love how this forums goes. You complain about anything, it can even be an okay criticism about something that should change and the reply you always get: "lol its in alpha cry sum more bb xxDDDD". We are testing it and telling what is wrong with it. That is what the alpha is for, that is what we are doing. Oh look! I can change the size of my text too!

They can kick and ban, yes. But the hacker can just come to the forums and say the admin is abusing power because he was banned, the server then gets blacklisted and the person who rented it can't do anything. This isn't /v/ btw. Just so you know before you start trying to greentext.

He is allowed to voice his opinion. If he thinks it's unfair then let him do it. OP I agree with you. You are the one paying for the server and thus you should be entitled to almost complete power over it. I really think this is a really bad way to treat server owners. What OP is asking for is only a way to ban hackers. Plus, people are allowed to "complain" about the products they bought and didn't like.

This could work if zombies weren't as fast as a jet and you could actually shoot them while they are approaching. Until this happens having hordes would just be torture.

Random zombie knockout ability. Get scratched once by a zombie? Enjoy bleeding like a retard. Car steering. Trying to shoot anything that is moving in general. Guns and ammo everywhere. Zombies punch you too hard? Enjoy your broken leg. Bump ATV into anything = ATV goes BOOM Bump car into garbage pile = Lose tires, hull and maybe engine.

Added yours to the OP. I agree that no sound at all can be eerie but having that all the time would take the eeriness factor away. What if sometimes everything would go completely silent. No zombies or bgm or anything, just the wind for a couple of minutes?

Nope, bad idea. This would just make night time even worse to stand if you don't have NVGs.

I've updated Arma 2 beta to the latest 95389, DayZ to 1.7.2.4 and BE to 1.66. After reading this thread I tried downloading the weapons.pbo and changing it in the folder. I'm still getting stuck at loading forever. Current Versions: ARMA2 1.62.95389 DayZ: 1.7.2.4 Start-up Method: Steam CO version with the -mod=@dayz -nosplash -noworld -window parameters. I saw two players ERPing outside of Cherno this other day. One was wearing a female skin and the other one a male and they were using direct text chat. I was pretty amused by it. Nothing in this game surprises me anymore. Gladiators fight to the death for a NVG? Sounds fun to me.

Since Arma2 updated to 1.62 you can't roll back to any prior version anymore. I tried re installing the game through Steam but it seems that it now already come patched with 1.62 making so that you can't install any patch before 95xxx. If anyone could help I would love you.

This all could work if: 1) zeds run in a straight line. 2) they don't run around you like mad man so you can actually aim at them when they aggro. 3) They don't run at subsonic speed All zombies should only walk. Make their number like 4 times what it is now but don't let them run anymore. Maybe only some rare ones can run.

My friend likes to stay on Cherno with a sniper rifle. When he spots someone he tells them to dance and then put a song over the mic. If the person dances, he lives. If he tries to run or just ignores he opens fire. My friend is awesome.

I got this bus once in this dark as **** server. I wasn't going to play there anymore and it was a fresh character so I decided to drive it to the NW airfield. So I got in the bus and started mic spamming the "Baby don't hurt me" song on repeat as I drive around the island. So as soon as I make my way into the airstrip - mind you, I have the voice chat open with "baby don't hurt me" going on and I keep honking in the rhythm - so anyways, as soon as I get to the tower - with my disco-ball bus - like 15 people open fire at the bus, there are bullets everywhere and I still go "BABY DON'T HURT ME NO MORE" when I finally die. I swear I never laughed as hard as I did in any other game. Totally worth it.
