It makes sense. The more you use something the better you become at doing it. In a realistic point of view - which is arma main point - it is a really good mechanic.

My group has a heli and I must say that after sometime it just detracts from the game experience. Getting anywhere is too easy with it. We actually use our cars now and just leave the heli parked since it's way more fun and takes way more organization and time. It also gives way more adrenaline rushes since the car is easier to take down and steal than the chopper. My group has one and I'm usually the pilot.

Allmybeans.jpg Yes, weapon condition should be implemented. Also military grade weaponry should be WAAAAAY more rare than it is now. It's a small place in the middle of nowhere and still you can find enough military grade guns to arm the whole country. And yes, we should have some kind of skill bar or number with a kind of gun. Let's say, the more you use shotguns in that life the better you become at it thus making your aim better, improving reload time and making your shotguns degrade slower.

Yup let's just ruin this game too. Just like they did to Resident Evil. While we are at it let's put different zeds like the Tank, Jockey, Smoker... Actually, no. That is silly. Let's not do that. If anything all zombies should only be able to walk and only a really rare zombie should run. Really, really rare. And they should be way more numerous. And not able to use stairs or doors.

I think it's already too hard to raise blood and seeing how you can be knocked out whenever you are under 9000 makes this a no-no. Make normal canned food recover 500 blood and cooked meat stays at 800. -

Playing at night on a server

My opinion is I can't see sh** without NVG. If I don't have a NVG when night comes I just switch servers. I know it's kinda of cheating but no way in hell I'm gonna wait for 6 hours till daytime again and night time is so freaking dark I can't see anything at all. Also using flashlights, chemsticks and flares is just a death wish because of bandits. -
The problem for me is not how fast they re-spawn but how fast they run. You don't stand a chance against zombies in an open field simply because they run like maniacs on crack and you can't shoot them while they approach in a reliable way. Oh, and they also run in zig-zag.

Another thing that I think is worth to mention is how hard it is to shoot down a zombie after it has aggro-ed on you. You literally HAVE to sneak everywhere around zombies if you don't wanna deal with broken bones, bleeding every 3 seconds and being knocked out at 9000 health. The way I see it the "problem" that has to be addressed first would be this one. Have walkers and runners, make walkers way more common than runners, make them walk around in crowds, actually give us the option to shoot at zombies in an open field and stand a chance, make them hit you in a realistic way and not the jerky way it is now that makes us miss 5 shots before being able to kill it - the five shots that will give him enough time to break your legs, make you bleed and maybe knock you out. Exploring becomes boring after some time because you have to sneak everywhere. Yeah it's a blast at the begin, but when you got a gun you will want to shoot it at things which you really can't do in a reliable way in this game. Just my 2 cents. Fix zombies and have walkers and runners, walkers being of course common and runners more rare. -

I don't play in any server with more than 15 players online. I don't like being snipped plus I feel like survivors should be REALLY rare. Just like in I'm legend (the book, not the movie) I want to feel alone in a deserted place. -
Oh man, I just spent like 130 bucks to print one of those - 140cm x 80cm, Photographic paper - at a printers. Totally worth it.

I ran out of fuel for my car once up north and it was in the middle of the night. I had to cross a city and some farms to get to a pump, not a big deal. I had an M4 CCO and everything else like gps, ghillie, etc but a NVG. So as I'm crossing a farm a zombie aggros on me and I think to myself "That is okay, it's a farm no other will hear me shooting and I can take 1 zombie down. I have a freaking army rifle.". Of course it was impossible to aim at the running zombie because he was running at light speed as usual so I wait for it to get to me. For my surprise the first hits that lands me makes me start bleeding and knocks me out cold. At this point I'm looking at my screen not believing what is happening. I'm about to lose a good character, 20 days old, good gear, car, because I was at 9000 blood when a zombie first hit me. Thank god my dude woke up at 900 blood. I emptied the mag on the zombie and bandaged myself. Had to call a friend irl and ask him to log on and come fetch me and give me a blood bag because I was afraid of dying. So - from now on - I never walk around with less than 9000 blood no matter what. You may say it's realistic, call me a casual and say that you like hard games but this is just bullshit. Make it 5000 blood then - hell, make it 6000 - but 9000 is retarded and cumbersome, it detracts more than it adds to the game, in my opinion. I wouldn't mind this if I could at least shoot zombies as they approach me but shooting in Arma is already fairly complicated - which is okay since it aims for realism - but now as it is you are probably sure to be hit by a zombie if you get aggro and this is frustrating. -
The bad thing about this is that you won't probably won't be able to abort to escape zombies anymore and giving how bugged zombies are and how crazy they run at you - plus the fact they aggro from miles away sometimes - will make this very frustrating.
