I really love day z. Several of the submods. But what about the zombie speed? At the beginning of a life, everybody abuse their speed bug, on hills and in buildings. I think it would be so much cooler if they were like 60% speed. And didnt lose any speed indoors. What wouldve been even better, would be if each zombie had a random speed. So u occasionally run into a fast one. Then he will be a nightmare, cuz u cant escape him inside. But it would add a lot more variety to the game with this small (but not for that matter simple) change. This random speed thing could be taken even further with random vision lenght and hearing on the zombies.. Would make virtually 1000s of different zombies.. Some almost blind deaf and slow, with the occasional super fast, good sighted and alert zombie.. Just my two cents

I would never D/C. But its not the OP's "fault". This should never have been left in. It should be a 5 second delay or something. Ive met so many players like this. They fire, you fire back, they disconnect. Kills every last bit of survivor feeling...

I think that beside the obvious bugs, this game plays very well. There are however 2 major stuff I believe would improve the game a lot in my opinion. 1. ALT-F4. It destroys a lot. Its safer to kill someone that to rob him (cuz he'll just alt-f4). Also sometimes a guys starts a fight and when hes cornered he alt f4. Just removes the whole survival thing for me. Suggestion: When you quit (or alt f4) the server hold your char for another 5 seconds while your character raises his hands in surrender. 2. Zombies. Many look nice but I think its not very scary when you know that every zombie can run as fast as you etc. You know what to expect. Would be much greater if 4/5 zombies were slow and dull and then 1/5 was a rly fast annoying one. Just my two cents

Thanks for the answers. Ye I understand that I cant run uphill. But this bugged recently happened on a new char when I had just died. It was in town and as I already stated I *can* sprint with double forward but NOT with shift. Thus the fast crouch movement is obliterated..

Hi I just got the game yesterday. Kinda buggy but great :). Anyway have some problems kinda often. One is that rly often sprint button stops to work. I can still double tap but cant run fast crouched etc. Have to quit to fix this. Anything else? Load time is terribly long Second is when you die. It says go to the player menu. I always end up quitting cuz nothing happens. Cant respawn, cant restart. Sometimes works to: disconnect -> disconnect -> And go again in in player list. Final. How does chatting work? When I press CAPS I see an icon and the letters "group". Does that mean the group will hear it no matter how far or just within proximity? Thanks
