I did most of the map at the weekend Didn't see a single person west or north west over multiple servers North east towns and and inland all tried to KOS me, only people I got to talk back were those without ammo and a group we ran into who kept following us after we told them to leave so we ended up shooting them after they kept pointing their guns at us We got into fights all over, doesn't matter where you are anymore it seems

Has become a deathmatch again :(

At the moment, spawning by the NWAF wouldn't be any better than balota, in fact balota and the NEAF are better than NWAF as you have berezino, rifty, and the two other major towns by NEAF So some west spawns would actually make most players have to explore somewhat The way to solve this is eiether have lots of spawns at the coast and remove all the barracks Ect from balota with minimal weapon spawns and drastically increase military bases at starry sobar, NWAF and zelenogorsk and spread the spawns all over the east coast right down to balota and up to NEAF Or Completely randomised the spawns to every city, town Ect and keep the weapon spawns the same The NWAF used to be the holy grail for gear, survivors would come from all over to find top tier weapons I've not seen a single player there since I got SA (apart from people traveling with me) And every time in the mod there would always be people there on any population server I usually just shoot zombies at NWAF as there's never anyone there it's become the safest military spot on the map

Just remember when you encounter someone to stay hidden while talking if you decide to make contact as you never know their intentions

I've met a few hackers, and I'm only talking about the ones I can confirm without a doubt The most obvious was that I was playing on a server with 10 ish people Server restarted while I'm in the woods up north a few Kilometres from NWAF When after being the first and only player back after the restart I'm running along when a I die and hear the sound of a fully automatic sawn off shotgun, and after I'm dead he keeps firing at my body at blank range for about 5 seconds When I got the player list up I caught sight or 1 other player leave the server Others have been suspicious such as when a guy was standing in the street some 50 metres away with a handgun out and was tracking my every move and the moment I leaned out he shit me once in the head, no spam shots just a single calm shot Could have been skill but that's some skill Me and 2 other guys got taken out by a guy at the airfield who was able to shoot us through the wall but that might have been some exploit and not a hack So if you got killed by hackers you don't deserve to die

It is when im contributing to the development Sitting around shooting newspawns doesn't help at all, people like you arnt needed if that's all your going to do

Yeah it was a clusterfuck of lag Well I actually thought we shot each other and the lag was showing you not firing, because I went down too, so god knows what KO'ed me But back on topic, maybe there are no real heroes, ive seen some people who call themselves heroes do things which are borderline so who knows?

Funny because I saved a guy from two bandits the other day He had a gun and ammo and was mid geared and I was fully geared with far better things than him And I got through it without being shot Don't believe me, look at my latest video on my youtube, we dont just save 'newspawns' BTW: Maybe you remember a guy on the stairs at the elektro peace walk, wearing a cowboy hat and had an M4, deathtax said it was you were on the stairs with a ballistic helmet and M4

Except there's about 3 spawn points in that area aloneSo he's spawn killing as well I'd like to see you justify that as 'tactical movement' by spawning where he's aiming The point he's making is he is setting out to shoot freshspawns and killing them when they spawn in Not much else to do? Doesn't it just prove a point when he's only killing freshies when he could be going after armed players? It shows that he wants to grief, but with no chance at being killed so he takes the most lowly, cowardly way to do it The OP is basically the equivalent of someone who beats up the elderly and steals their money

Good fun? I enjoy a challenge and that's why I go up against anyone of any strength and numbers 8 bandits? I'll die but I'll pick them off one by one and hide their bodies so they lose their gear I'll die, but should at least make some of them start over if I surprise them Fresh spawns? What's the fun in shooting fish in a barrel? You strike me as the type that will run the moment someone shoots at you and log out at the first opportunity

What I meant was: In the 2 years I've played the mod and then standalone I've met about 3 hackers that sounded over 20 And about 100 screaming 12 year old kids with riding around in a tank that wasn't avaliable or appear in my group and gun us all down while we fill them with bullets So of those that spoke, less than if say 5% were older than 16

But the point is it does reflect how a lot of these people are in real life Hackers are usually younger (but not always) kids that cheat to win and are also usually the kind who would play pay to win games I've no doubt these people would do the same in real life, cheat and get any advantage they like in any way, legal or not One good example is players that go after new spawns, torture them and tell them how much they suck while pretending to rape them And then run away the moment someone with a gun shoots at them I've no doubt these people are bullies in real life who get off only going after weaker players they know won't put up a fight

That's the glitch Yeah I think it might be patched on vanilla only

Not played much recently but I've been in a few firefights and I have to say both myself and my opponents were shooting like total absolute noobs all since the update I thought I was just having a couple of really bad moments but if it's due to this I can relax a bit and put it down to game mechanics and not my own ability to shoot Maybe I have to just get used to the new system more I suspected something was wrong

Don't count on anything being done about this anytime soon In the mod there was 2-3 of these glitches, the hospital glitch I found by accident You could crawl under the ladder and glitch inside the wall and see everything and shoot out the windows I discovered it when I had broken legs as tried to get up the ladder only to crawl through the wall I researched the glitch and it was already well known Was about 6 months before it was patched

I have to disagree with thatI play hero and don't KOS, I've never killed on sight, I only kill on threat When we kill people we only fire if fired upon, if they are clearly ignoring us and surrounding us after multiple warnings or if we see them murder someone in cold blood I only kill if it's justified, if they are hunting and chasing down a newspawn or obviously stalked and killed someone I observe and weigh up the evidence, I don't just rush in and lay down the law about whom is a survivor and who is a bandit Please do not say heroes KOS because if they do then they are bandits and not heroes, heroes do not kill on sight otherwise we wouldn't be heroes

Yeah those apartments are a death trap There were 6 inside and 3 on the roof as well as my group of 3 the other day I don't know how many groups were actually together but having 10 people in that area alone and about another 10 were running and gunning outside If your going into berezino on a full server your going to die or at least be cowering in a corner while squads engage each other unless you have your own group Pretty much every full server has about 20 players in berezino alone

Not to mention: - More bugs then fixes - More hackers - Having to press you hot keyed gun an extra 5 times on top of the 5-6 times you already have to press it - More powerful zombies - Zonbies being nerfed again straight after due to crying forums posts (hey.... That exactly what happened in the mod) - Private servers where admins will find ways to abuse the game - More military bases so everyone can find a gun easier

I think some do play the way they really would act and other don't I think I play the way I would in these kind of end of the world situations My first priority is to stockpile supplies which I could do in the mod with tents And help those less fortunate than myself Most people will say it's a game, and that it doesn't reflect how they would really act but I think it does If the world ended today the first thing I would do is fortify a good location such as a castle or mall, stockpile weapons and food with people I know and gradually let people in who I think have valuable skills such as doctors, soldiers and mechanics or farmers And just as bandits are free to murder, rape and pillage with no laws.........with no laws I would be free to murder them right back with consequences and I think that's what most people don't think about, that the good guys that are left are also free to kill if they seem you a threat

So there we were locking down betezino when you came towards our position, crossbow ready While our sniper team was waiting to shoot you if you proved hostile......2 men logged in on the apartments roof behind them and killed them both Myself and another regulator were going to head to take the bandits out and I lost connection When I logged back in you asked if we needed an extra man, reluctantly we agreed and headed to take out the bandits As we approached the two of you went inside to the roof and I saw someone follow you in, he was tracking your exact position although from the way he came in he could have never seen you Suddenly your taking fire through the hatch by the ladder and I decide the guy that followed you in was with the roof bandits, he fired at you guys and from my hiding spot outside I managed to wound him Then Tom, the Crossbowmen headshot him and killed the attacker I wounded But my comrade that went inside with you was dead I came up the stairs, and told you on direct chat to lock down the stairwell (didn't have time at any point to alt tab out and invite him to teamspeak) As we are guarding the stairs waiting for people to come back I tell Tom, the new guy to grab the M4 but he says he doesn't want it and likes the crossbow So anyway, now one of our respawned friends spots two armed guys watching the apartment entrance and at least 3 above us on the roof A trap and no way out "If this goes to shit, meet back at the exact location we first met" I say Then I hear your final words "Ok I'll wait if we get killed, by the way.....it's nice to meet some good guys for once....my name is Tom....." Bang He goes down to a mosin headshot I run into the room at the back and take a round to the leg, I fire some rounds down the corridoor (no one there but only place they could have seen me) When the shit really hits the fan 1 guy rushes up the stairs, I drop him straight away A guy instantly logs in behind me in the room they know I'm in and I shoot him As I turn around 4 fully geared guys rush me and my sks is out of bullets so I draw my 1911 and get off 3 rounds before 4 men riddle me with bullets I spawned near the NEAF but when I reached the place we met, you were not there We waited but you never came R.I.P. Tom, the hero with a crossbow
