Its called spawn killiing, happens in every online multiplayer game. The people want to annoy players by sitting at spawn points with sniper rifles just kill you to piss you off, ive had it happen to me Spawn 1,2.....3 Sniper rifle goes off and kills me.

I think alcohol could work in the game mechanics. It makes you make a lot of noise, blurrs vision etc for a few minutes and reverses the controls........I would like to fly a helicopter like that And and no, it has no actual benificial effects.

Mine was the time I stole a bus from someones well hidden camp, it was the first verchile I had found and decided to go from town to town and beep the horn. I found some kind of army base and found a nice shotgun with something like 20 shells laying around. I made a sprint and jumped over a fence...............only to have my legs broken by the barb wire on the other side, I lay there until I bled to death having no bandages

THis just happened in game, When this happened I did feel guilty, but afterwards you can see my bandits killed went to 1 so he had killed another player. I did not want to kill him and gave him many chances to surrender which he ignored, please watch and leave feedback. Like many I could have just gunned him down, but that isnt my style, I gave him a chance to surrender which he clearly ignores. I didnt want him to stab us in the back and I just had that gut feeling that if I did let him live, he would kill us. Here is the video: What would you have done differently?

Thats alright, we had some good guns but we were ambushed and they took them. They hit fast and hard but thought they had killed me as I dived proned into some bushes. Got an ak kobra mag unloaded at one of them who dived for cover then someone shot me from somewhere else. We lost so much good gear that day. All of my videos will eventually go on youtube, the first 30min one goes up tonight of the first time my friend started playing (ive been playing for a while) We have a lot of strange/random and funny moments in this game

Your probably right, I only gave him a second chance because we had the advantage that he was down on the ground. If had still been standing after the first shot I would have fired again. Next time I think it is going to be one warning or shot. I dont want to go around killing people on sight and I help those I can, but one warning is fair enough, its more than most will give If im willing to give him a warning, he should realise I wasnt going to kill him if he co-operated. Like I said, I was going to get him to face a corner and wait until we had left before leaving himself

He stopped, then carried on walking, thats why I fired, I was going to tell him to stay where he was until we left the barn so he couldnt sneak up on us but because he chose to keep on walking I shot him to wound him. I gave him a second chance, we could have healed him as you see I was preparing to administer morphine when he swung at me

My first life involved me finding an enfield straight away, after which my backpack ate, so now unarmed I headed into a fire station and got shot twice from a distance. I ran into the woods bleeding, without my rifle that had been eaten by my pack I was unable to return fire and bled to death in the woods. BUT NOT AFTER I ATE ALL MY BEANS! That sniper wasnt getting anything for killing me

True they could server hop, but it wont really matter if you shoot them in the head, they are still dead. I would be satisfied knowing they lost all their good gear by trying to server hop, only to see the you are dead screen when they re enter the game Besides I hear soon that server hopping wont be possible, so we will see a decrease in bandits slightly due the fact that they cant fight in a normal fight without quiting and server hopping, they actually have to engage people

Actually me and my friend are currently doing this and his ingame name is 'Regulator' strangely enough. I am going to be posting videos of our adventures in Day z, but we have come across a couple of people and helped out a new guy hide from bandits, gave him and map and some coke too. I would be interested in this, also ive not killed a human in game yet, we always call out if someone is there and they usually respond with gunfire. Ill be watching this topic, I can only really play UK and europe servers, sometimes I can play the american ones with a ping of about 150, but thats too much ping personally for me to join a game How is it you think we wont be able to identify bandits? I record all the day z I play. I see a bandit, upload a quick 5 second video of where he is in the town. 10 guys on our side spawn in the town, knowing where he is sniping etc. (I see more bandits on the regular servers with nametags too) He is dead SO if I join, I can prove to you their crimes, on regular I can prove what their name is, on veteran or higher I can show you where they are, simples Oh one last thing, to any bandits that reply here saying 'omg noobs cant handle getting killed all the time etc' My answer: Its a sandbox game You make your own destiny in the game Bandits can kill people at will Regulators choose to defend people at will We are just doing what you are doing, playing to game how we enjoy it. Also the the OP, me and my friend have a password system, should we get split up in game, instead of normal private chatroom for just the 2 of us to use microphones (outside of the game). If we get seperated and see a person, we type in the direct chat for example DOG and the response could be (written in text, not microphones) TREE This way we can identify each other, then we change the password I think the clan should have one for every day, maybe a website on freewebs.com that only we can access and each day change the password. So in game when we are trying to find other regulators, if you see the first part of the password typed by a regulator name you recognise (a list on the website of our clan members names) you know they have seen you and want to find out who you are. A response with the second half would then reveal who you are and that your on the same side

Maybe a good idea is have different kinds of armour Kevlar vest means you cant sprint, just run normally but reduces damage by 50% and you never go into shock or bleed if hit on the torso only Combat helmets will make you immune to headshots, but I cant think of a disadvantage for them right now

You can leave messages, I raided a large camp the other day and took loads of ammo (got an ak kobra and 17 clips for it, my pack was full) Before I left I laid some gear on the ground set out in the shape of and F and then a U. I was kicked by the admin 5mins later, I think he figured out that I was the one who had raided his camp as I was the only one on the server not in his clan (there were 6 people in the server) and how would it affect servers? The same way tents do, the player must find a blank poster and place it like a tent (perhaps on a pole so it can go anywhere) and it is removed after two days Then when a player approaches it, an option to read it much like the way you study a body so instead of 'his name was bob, he died of unknown causes' You get, 'This poster was put here by bob, it reads: Danger ahead, bandit ambush' etc etc etc

Today myself and my friend were playing the game and were ambushed by a bandit though I think there were 2, we were extra careful checking every corner and you were very good but the one time we didnt check, there was someone there, I lost an ak kobra to you guys. My friend went down first, dead but I fell to prone. Thinking he had got both of us I unloaded an ak clip at the guy who promptly took cover by a fence, Im sure I hit you a few times as I didnt see you again. As I crawled to heal my broken legs, and use a bandage, I knew I was going to die I looked around the corner when a bullet hit my side......a second bandit had flanked me and I was unable to see with only 300 blood. We respawned and looted elektro, and found a a guy called Tufelghiest hiding in a barn, we aimed at him and he didnt want to fight us. Two bandits had tailed us from the supermarket in elektro, one with an enfield, the other a pistol and automatic weapon. We hid in the barn for 10mins, my friend covering one door with his shotgun, myself an uzi in hand covering the other door to the barn. The man wanted a weapon but we refused, so he had to hide in the corner. I was Lone Warrior, my friend is Regulator, we gave him a map and a can of coke and told him to stay put until the shooting of the bandits stopped, they were shooting zeds but we couldnt take a chance they might have seen us go into the barn. I lost internet connection (damm broadband) and my friend left as well. We respawned in the barn, but our friend was gone and only the trail of three dead zombies outside were left as clues as to what his fate was. If you read this Tufelghiest, we hope the bandits didnt kill you, but we couldnt trust you with a weapon as you might understand. I think when we entered the barn we scared the shit out of you as you froze, 2 people aiming guns at you we quickly said we were friendly. The videos of our adventures will go up at some point, but there are so many hours it will take a while, if you like this please leave your thoughts

I wanted to join this, but the server uk7 is an old version now so it wont let me join it. I was planning on driving some supplies down to you guys for your hard work, if you decide to change to a updated server ill see what I can do next time im heading your way (currently in the north hunting animals, I have shitloads of meat at the moment but no firewood :) )

I like this idea and would be glad to help, which servers do you frequent on? Last night I found a stash of seven tents in the middle of the woods right at the north east, I took everything I could carry and stashed it in a verchile that was there, drove around for 5mins then was banned from the server, I think it was an admins camp and they felt like being an asshole about it (Maybe cheated and could see me driving away on the map, when I looked at the server after there were 6 people on it so I guess if they were looking at a map then I was the only person up that way) Still, even though I was kicked, when I respawned in another server I was still carrying your kobra with 17 clips(my pack is full of it now), so I still got some of your good stuff I dunno what they were thinking of doing but they had about 3-4 of each weapon in tents and craploads of ammo I had good stuff anyway and had better weapons in the verchile I was driving but the kobra looks insanly good. I was planning on going to a secluded valley and firing off some rounds with each weapon at some animals and see which weapon I liked the most but ill settle for keeping your nice gun for being an asshole about it.

Damm I just made a long trek away from elektro otherwise Id come and heal you, been scavanging for about 2 hours to the north of elektro and to be honest im kinda lost in the woods and not sure which way im heading at the moment Sorry bro, it would take me a while to get there, someone else would probably get there first. Just make sure your armed, people might meet up just to rob you instead of help If you go into elektro, you will get shot, Ill bet money on it

I usually play on servers with no name tags. But I usually call out to someone if I dont think they are dangerous. If there is a group and I know I cant get past or they are searching buildings and will eventually bump into me, I usually try things like 'Stop right there, WE (even though its just me) have you in our scopes, turn around and you die, put your weapons on the ground.' If they do so, I sprint it in the opposite direction so by the time they have their weapons back and realise im gone, im safely away from them. I consider myself a neutral player in all games, I do what is neccassary to survive without causing harm to others. If they are a threat to my group I avoid it unless im forced to fire, this isnt about bravery or losing items, those are not the reasons I play this way. Theres more chance that by firing at someone, I will die. If I avoid them, then cant I try and talk If not then I shoot, usually to wound them. If I can cripple them and they are unconcious I will take their items and leave them to die, but Im not going to outright kill them unless I have to (its not being a bandit, if they shoot when Ive protested im friendly they deserve to see me strip them and leave them to bleed out) They may heal and follow me, in which case yes ill kill them Theres far more chance of survival by thinking, avoiding what you cant handle and having someone cover your back When your alone, and fire at everything that moves all you do is draw attention to yourself and someone will eventually get you. I mean how many bandits are going to see 3-4 guys all covering each other and using military tactics etc and think: YEAEAEAAHAHAHH CHARGE, you might wound or kill one then they will be shooting back. I will absolutly not let people see me if they are in a group of 2 or more, unless I KNOW and have seen them come under fire for example and protest they dont want a fight in which the few cases ive seen this I offer assistance but they obviously wont trust me, but usually say if im not with the guys shooting at them then I should get out of the way in case they hit me in the crossfire I offer people help sometimes, but few accept it which is fine, I probably wouldnt eiether Wow a long post I just wrote there Half the reason I play the game this way is because I imagine I am the character, that oh shit the zombie apocalypse has happened and living it, that every decision I make is real. Do I pull the trigger.....not unless i have to.
