To the OP, we are always looking for new allies so if you see any of our guys with the [Regulator] tag they will be friendly. Great story, nice to hear some other people out there are trying to lend a helping hand Dont be fooled by the hero skin, I once saw a hero skin murder 6 people and then me (I was a new spawn, had a macrov and he had an enfield) I made a heroic attempt to reach the hero bandit and got shot by his friend and another random guy who joined me to take him down (he also had hero skin) then got shot as well, as I went down I saw him get sniped by enfield fake hero :(

Ok ive been checking a lot of servers as in my server people started getting global bans left and right. Every other server ive joined, they are getting global bans. I myself havent got one yet, but as far as I can tell you must be in the game with the hacker who is stealing your CD key The people getting it are getting the same message as if they downloaded a fake hack and had their CD stolen and battleeye have refused to investigate it. I have seen this in server after server today and tons of people are getting global bans. I say dont play today and see what battleeye has to say, they cant ignore it now as every server I joined, at some point people started getting bans in order of their names on the player list, at least 10 people per server. Others have also reported this in my troubleshooting thread. I could be wrong so dont grief me for this, but the side channel went crazy with WTF? etc when this happened. I know some people who got bans, and myself and another of my group left the server and it was reported that only those remaining on the server were banned (we were the only 2 that were not, because we left before it reached us in the player list) Anyone who has info on this, it would be greatly apprcieated

Ok thats fair enough, it could have just been our server panicking in the side chat as it seemed odd at the time for so many people to get global bans. I still believe the people I play with were wrongly accussed, espiecally as one of them always destroys hacked gear and bans hackers a lot on our server. He is one who has no tolerance for hacking and hates cheaters so I doubt he would hack himself. I could be wrong as ive kept sayung, but from the point of view of our server, every player suddenly getting banned like that rose some red flags. We thought if it was a battleeye ban they would have banned everyone at the same time

Yeah your right, like I said the logs showed nothing out of the ordinary so it could be a legit series of bans. Just seeing so many in one server when ive never seen these guys hack (and some of those banned have a real hate for hackers and always destory hacked gear) makes me think somewhere along the line someone has made a mistake. Im going to wait this out

Just because I forgot to add on the end of my post that battleeye rectifed them quickly doesnt mean im making things up. Besides there are still loads of legitimate players out there that have global bans when they have done nothing wrong

Yeah, unless they have a program doing it for them, I doubt someone is doing it step by step They dont switch keys, they give you a banned one and then store yours to be sold online in a package with a group of useable CD keys Its the same as real life, people say blahblahblah we will never have our seciruty broken into at the pentagon.....next thing you know some 13 year old in their parents basement has hacked into military files and stolen them. Its the same here, battleeye will refuse to even say its possible because they cant do anything about it. Its easier to ignore it then try to make a futile attempt to fix the problem

Battleeye has made mistakes before, we all know they cant control this hacking problem. Truth is they are going to say there are no false positives whether or not thats true, they have done it before. Im just saying, eiether dont play or if everyone starts getting global bans then leave the server and wait it out.

No im talking about the global bans, the part about remote executing scripts was from what I saw the other day and why I believe it possible. I dont think that had anything to do with this, Im just saying if its possible to force players to execute a script then its probably possible to somehow take a CD while in game

Yes Ive seen that, but battleeye have been known to hand out false bans before and only admit it afterwards. I was just saying, ive seen what I think is proof of having scripts run through another player that isnt hacking. This post is about the way it was executed. I refuse to believe that 25 people on our server were hackers and the only 2 that werent were the 2 that left.

There is no way to prove it, I dont care about causing hysteria, as long as people know whats going on thats good enough. They can play at their own risk, theres just no way that everyone in our server could have been a hacker when many of them are regular players to our private hive and we have never had any problems with anyting showing in the logs that point to them hacking, yet they still get a global ban

Actually there is proof. The other day our admins (both) were looking for a hacker on the logs when suddenly it came up that one of them (the admins) spawned a car. When they returned there was a car sitting next to him and he had been kicked for a script restriction. Later an ammo box was spawned by the other admin, yet he was minimized and checking the logs. He was also kicked from his own server for creating an ammo box he didnt create. They are not hackers, somehow the logs showed it was them spawning the items, they were not the only ones, they were plauged by this for an hour or so where people were being kicked for creating things when they also claimed they didnt. Thats enough proof for me Everyone says its not possible, until someone figures a way to make it possible, I personally think someone has found a way to do it and is going on a CD stealing spree

Ok lets say thats true. But every one on my server 25+ people got a global ban, the only two people who didnt get one were me and another guy who left. Lets still say your right......but then why were we ok when somehow there are 25 hackers on our server with no signs of hacking in the logs and they get banned? But we were the only 'survivors' of the ban spree, and we also left the game and avoided it. It cant be a coninsidence

I am being serious, I am not playing until I can be sure that something is done about this. Like I said this is the order of events: Player 1 gets global ban (no big deal) 5 seconds later player 2 gets global ban (Ok they both were hackers) My friend gets a global ban (wtf, hes never hacked to my knowledge) Another player gets global ban Another player..... Another player..... Me and the other guy in my clan leave and watch the list on day z commander as it gets shorter, about 5 seconds between each removal of a player from the server until there are now 0 players. Other players are reporting similar things happening Just my thoughts, anyone who has this happening in their server I would also like their say on things By the way, the logs were clean......there were no normal signs of hacking, but they look for scripts not external programs (to my knowledge) I hope im wrong and its just a battleeye glitch, but the fact its only banning the players in the game and not those that leaves makes me suspicious

Then by all means keep playing. Everyone in the server gets a global ban, me and a friend leave and are the only ones who didnt get it. I try another server, same thing happens and I leave. I watch from dayzcommander as the list leaves one person at a time systematically every 5 seconds. It has been known for a while hackers can execute undectable scripts through external programs and force other players to get banned by making them execute the script. Maybe some genius has figured a way to steal your CD key while in game.

Well we were on Lingor but there doesnt seem to be any bans on chenarus servers Anyone have this happen on chenarus?

Yeah, great idea. So i log off in a building and then I respawned in the open where I can be picked off before I spawn Amazing idea! I cant wait to try this! It means I get to die more when spawning in :)

Wait for the unconcious timer to deplete, press escape and respawn lights up for half a second. if your fast enough you can catch it. Or just wait until you starve to death

Yeah, one server hopper got my team all except myself once and when we killed him. He tried 4 more times to server hop to the same spot and each time we gunned him down.......ah the stupidity of some people

Video tells this story on Lingor Island, you need to watch a while but my group team up with 5-6 random people over the course of the day and just ride around helping people (no one messes with a group of 10 people, though one tried and failed) :) Skip to about 8min30 for where we meet the first group of survivors

I would have logged out and found another server, killing them like that is the same as server hopping to kill someone

It doesnt work for me eiether, Ive only used it to escape hackers that have disabled the abort button. Now I always have task managed open, if a hacker appears I minimize and click end task. I only use this to escape hackers
