Worst ideas ive ever heard

My clan is dedicated to doing similar things. Ive had a few situations like this, seen a bandit kill a player that was helping them and usually I go: 'You there, throw down your weapons and dont turn around or I shoot' They turn around.....I shoot......dumb Only once have they listened. Two of our teamates were at the prison in lingor, one went in while the other covered him with a sniper rifle. The guy that went in suddenly dies and two guys appear out of the barracks there, our sniper tells them to surrender or they die, they dont so he snipes one. The second guy runs outside, drops all his gear and surrenders. We tell him to take everything off, head north for 10mins then come back and try to get his gear (which would spawn new zombies at the prison and he had no items now) He looks at the player list and says because there are 6 of us he gave himself up (but the other 4 of us were down south, but we played along, ah the wonders of side chat in Lingor) Our sniper fell back and left the guy to his slim chance of recliaming his gear in the middle of the day, in the middle of the prison, surrounded by zombies, unarmed it would have been difficult to get it back

Ive been trying to work out for months why in game I can only connect to a few servers, then a load of server admins kept kicking me because my name was too long Whats the big deal? So ive shortened my name and now im having less difficulty connecting to servers, it no longer gets stuck on wait for host for so long. What impact does having a longer name really have on a server/ gameplay. I find this kinda stupid

Makes sense, I mainly play on nametag servers now so I can rat out hackers. Thanks

Because I didnt know that was the issue. 95% of servers would get stuck on wait for host I had a camp on a server and when I connected I got: You have been kicked (ADMIN KICK) Player name is too long. So I changed it to a shorter name to get to my camp, and I was let in. I tried other servers, and realised I no longer got wait for host for most servers, Changed my name back to a longer name and got wait for host again, So that was definantly the problem I didnt realised until today that was the problem My name was [Regulator] Lone Warrior My clan tag is quite long so that probably didnt help

Ive been thinking, there are so many uses for this..... Entire clans could be based on the fact you can shit on people. They will just go around shitting everywhere, in doorways, on food spawns. Shitting off buildings and trying to hit survivors, putting them into shock if they are hit (imagine if you got a kill from shitting off a building onto someone. When enemies are knocked out, just run and quickly shit all over them. Making huge piles of shit from a 20 man group camping a town. Shit blockades at town entrances Sneaking into someones pack and taking their items and putting shit in there instead. You would know your fucked when you get setup complete and hear 'FART FART FART FART' to spawn under a mountain of poo There would be no reason to play dayz as survival anymore, all everyone would do is fight over beans so they can shit some more

We had a great run on lingor once, had 4 of my clan and 5-6 random survivors join us throughout the day If you skip to about 8:25 thats when we meet the first surviviors not part of our orignal group, the first 8mins are us driving around picking up our own clan members We accidently ran him over, but he was alive so we patched him up and before you know it everyone else on the server is wanting a pickup (SIDE CHAT IS ENABLED) as they see a large friendly group emerging and probably figure its safer in numbers We lock down the airport and set up a safe haven to bring people in and load up on gear and weapons which all the new people coming in to join our group like a lot

I usually carry a sactal charge, when im about to die from another player I set it to 30secs and as they kill me: Jokes on you, yippy kai yay mother fucker! About 30 seconds later they understand why the jokes on them :)

Same thing just happened to me, I got setup complete and saw about 30 bodies all around cherno. I went for the abort button and as I press it.....the hacker appears right behind me (3rd person view shows me the tip of an AS50 appear) I press yes and hear an AS50 shot go off. I log back in and im fine, lucky escape

Thats a great idea, theres nothing like finding a camp.....taking a shit in the tent and waiting until the guys comes back to see steam coming from his tent

So I save 2 guys surrounded by zombies by throwing flares, I was a new spawn so didnt care about dying. Anyway they give me a lift to solnichny and along the way we pick up their friend. Suddenly one guy goes: LOOK! I see nothing for a second and then a load of gear appears in the middle of the road. I start recording while they are getting weapons. The guy they picked up dissappears, but they all know each other and im not taking chances. I blood transfuse a guy and they say take anything I want.......does that include these explosives?

And before I get the usual 'I would have sniped you blahblahblah' I died once while making this video, which was to 2 server hopping twats who I didnt get on film, I got one of you but the second one got me (I dont know if it was server hopping or a teleport hack as a hacker teleported to my teamate a few minutes later and killed him) I was also shot at by an AS50 twice, both times as soon as I spotted them they alt 4ed, i wish I had been filming (I usually press record when I see someone, but when an AS50 round hits near you its the last thing on my mind)

Thanks, we do our best in our group to help people, its not just me. We have plenty of guys out there doing similar work, but most of our work is from the shadows where you wont see us, we like it that way. That way we get to help without exposing ourselves too much and dying

Op, great story Best thing you can do now is search dayzcommander for players with that players name in and try and contact them. If the server has a side chat (if your lucky to catch them on a private hive) you will be able to talk to them anytime in game.

Is this on a private modded server? Seeing as the female skin you have on isnt possible to get through Lingor Island without an extra modded version

No you are wrong. There are plenty of friendly people out there, but you are more likely to survive in a group. OP, dont listen to these morons, it wont always be this way. We work with the coalition and other friendly groups to help restore order. Many of our missions have managed to force everyone out of a server when 10-12 of our guys roll into and secure cities, or ge rid of most of the bandits on a server allowing us to help those in need. OP, if your interested we would like to have you in our clan [Regulators]. We help those willing to accept it and hunt down those that just sit for hours waiting for one noob to come along so they can snipe them. Our videos and forums will tell you everything you need to know, we are not KOS (except against known threats and snipers camping) and will usually call out to people as friendly. Because we usually move in groups we can handle most situations. A lot of players out there dont shoot on sight when they bump into a group of 4-5 people that have them surrounded and usually accept help or just ask to be left alone. Ive been trying to work out how to trigger the return to beach spawn in lingor (had it happen a few times at random) Got teleported into the see 10,000 metres out and have no chance of swimming it before I die of thirst (its on red, but not flashing) Can someone tell me how to trigger the glicth that takes you back to the coast (without using respawn button) Thanks

Thanks but ive respawned now, as I logged in again, underwater and losing mass blood, broken bones, unconcious.......so yeah started a new character

Nope.....I now have spawned in the water with a broken leg and now im sinking....... Lol nevermind, its taken all my ammo for some reason anyway by the looks of things :( Going to ugrade back to new version just respawn
