I like this, however I woudl like a detection system in place so you cant spawn lets say within 100m of another player as this will just mean players appearing in front of each other at random all the time. It will also stop the snipers that wait at spawn points on the coast, I would like to see perhaps a test done as en experiment like puppetworx said

Ive seen a whole load of weird shit lately with battleye, and hearing things I just assumed they were doing their job. But today I logged into a panthera server id never been on and i play for about 10 seconds before im banned from the server by battleye admin with the message (No teleporting) I have no idea what happened, I just want to know if I could be expecting a global ban from logging onto a server? Didnt realise that was a bannable offense. Anyone else getting weird stuff like this happen? All i can think of is the server I was on before that one a hacker teleported us all to one location and then I got shot by someone in the crossfire before I could alt f4 out of the hacker thunderdome Which basically sums it up for me: Hacker teleports you......battleye gives you a ban when it checks the logs as you teleported......well this is gonna be fun

Hi, I also got banned from a server today. I had never been on the server before on the panthera map and 5 seconds in im banned by the battleeye admin for teleporting. Looks like the whole batteleye and logs co-operation isnt up to scratch and ill be pissed if I get a global ban with a whole load of new innocent people and claim they are legit again

Im taking one of the newer members to our clan around panthera when we hear gunshots He is happily riding around on a newly aqquired bicycle when he gets hit, unable to see the shooter I take cover and figure he must be in the trees. I flank around and the other Regulator goes down, dead. He was harming no one and was defenceless on a bike, what followed should teach every bandit to observe his surroundings before leaving cover

I always give them the benefit of the doubt, but if your in a bandit skin ill stalk you until you murder a new spawn and then give you instant karma

Dont forget that side chat enables people to avoid hackers easily. Without it, a hacker can ruin every character on the server. In games with side chat ive seen players leave after 2-3 people report a hacker, the server empties and the hacker moves on to another server. I believe side chat should only be avaliable to those with radios, however I have seen how useful it is and the other day I played on server where 2 hackers were in cherno on the international hotel...... 30+ people decended on cherno and tried to take them out and get their nametag for the admin, I was unfortunantly shot on the way by an alt f4 guy who later got banned for combat logging. He shot me once and then alt f4ed when I returned fire, im pretty sure he died though as when I returned to my body I found his body there logged back in dead. I had to ask someone to come and kill me as for some reason his AKM round put me in a state of perminant unconciousness, which is something else I would have been stuck with if not for asking someone to come and kill me

Happend to me once, I respawned in a different location with all my gear after dying once. Was about 50m from where I died

Medic, counter sniper......hero I am an average shot, nothing to brag about, I can kill but i choose not to. I observe, move when bandit as50 snipers are not looking my way and creep up behind them. If they take out another player (espcially an unarmed one) I tell them why they are about to die as I unload a mag into them. (I tell them quickly its not for normal pvp, its because they are an asshole) So stealth and surprise attacks are my main playstle. I could be behind you right now, my L85 aimed at your head waiting for you to make a douche move

I agree, the only reason I carry it is to spot those asshole AS50 thermals before they spot me. If thermals were not in the game i would be happy. I even play on a private server with a modified chernarus that removes all night vision and thermals, it runs a private program or script that detects the items on a player when they join or leave a server so then the item is removed from them. (I dont know how it works, I just know the admins can detect NV goggles and any weapon that uses one of those sights and they are removed from the player) Anyone found with these items in game would have to have hacked them in on this server and anyone killed and found by an admin is banned from the server. If L85 is for pussies then what is an AS50 thermal for? they have about 15x the range and 100x the killing power and yet every other bandit has one. And my L85 was aqquired at a heli crash, so it has nothing to do with hackers as they all carry AS50 thermals No hackers get L85s in the game when they can have AS50 thermals, you dont know what your talking about. L85s are more common than you think, i must have seen 10-15 at heli crashes, a lot of which are at my camp And really? You think their overpowered? They have a 300m effective range, thats hardly overpowered and it takes 3-4 shots to kill a player, any sniper can outshoot someone with this weapon. I dont think thermal should be in the game, but all of your points are invalid, ive never seen a hacker use an L85 or have mass people use them. Your more likely to see 5 people with AS50 thermals in a group than you would see 1-2 L85s in a group of 5 people

L85 - for spotting and close range combat, and helping other players at close range DMR - switch to this if over 300m for players and long range zombie killing

So the admins decide to give away all their gear......as long as someone is willing to fight to the death for it. The games were going on 4 times, I was lucky enough to be chosen from the server players for the last fight, fight number 4 so there was little choice of gear left for the winner. Here it is:

Tsant2000, simply head to our forums and make a post eiether in the regulator HQ roster or the introduce yourself section. I monitor both and will add your name to our lists. Then simply add the [Regulator] tag to your name and go and do some good :)

Remember if your a lone wolf who just wants to carry the clan tag thats fine, carry on playing and just spread the friendly word We cater for all types of players from medics, lootrunners, lone wolfs or group players (or like me in the middle, sometimes I lone wolf or team up) A.Williams yes we have HQs and servers we frequently use, but our camps are limited to our Admins (being one myself) and our VIPs (the members who have proven themselves and have a standing vote in delicate matters or missions) Only our most trusted members will have access to our camps, they are in no set place and we move them every now and then, it prevents other clans taking out our supplies (which attempts have been made by bandit groups!)
