Yeah I believe it should be easier to avoid the zombies but if your caught out and hit it should be a heavy blow to let you know that it was your own undoing that caused this pain and that you made a mistake

Sadly it's true though I played the new update and could stand there in the middle of a street trying to get myself killed to see how strong the zombies were and they took ages to kill me I liked the 1.7.7 despite the bugs but in this hot fix I have zero fear the zombies and have already seen people going back I the run, loot and ignore zombies mode All I want if for people to think " that hurt!" When they make a mistake instead of "oh a bitch slap, well I can ignore these guys"

Ok firstly I don't have a problem with pvp, when players meet and start a standoff of firefight, it's intense and fun But KOS is different All of these stories are from the 1.7.7 update from recently and made zero sense I'm in electro supermarket and a guy says he can see me and asks for blood He comes I , I have a pistol and he has an m4 I give him a transfusion and then he shoots me Nothing new there, he was clearly a douche Story 2 There's 2 guys in the pub in cherno, they have wasted all their Enfield ammo and are being swarmed I throw smokes, and draw off the zombies with my Winchester, we head to the medical tents and I bloodbag them while they hold off the zombies They grab an ak and turn and shoot me, a few minutes later their names come up and I find the zombies killed them and for a good hour they keep raging about how the zombies keep killing them, well maybe if you weren't shooting people all the time you might live longer Story 3 Guy getting swarmed in berezino behind hospital and I'm on top, his legs break and I take out a good 10+ zombies with my Enfield He starts crawling towards the ladder and I tell him to come up, when he gets up the too he opens fire with his ak and input ak and I put him down I ask him on side what the hell was the point? I was going to bloodbag him and I quote: "I wanted a kill" So basically players value killing over their own life, which is stupid, at least some of them had t decency to let me heal them before shooting me And I've even seen bandits stand in the street firing at me and being killed by zombies only to die over and over and keep coming back and going on a killing spree in one town for hours Some people have zero imagination

I second that, tested it and they are easily overcome even going I'm all guns blazing each time Love the other fixes but i think players should be punished for alerting Zeds now that the detection is better

I've seen zombies in the street standing still and not attacking until I go right up to them I found the zombies no harder then 1.7.6 zombie damage Stood there for a good few minutes while shooting and they took ages to kill me They don't seem to do any more damage than before

I finally got into a server, the infection is still at a good rate but I was able to stand in the street for a good few minutes killing zombies as they seem to do little more damage than the 1.7.6 patch

I have a really big problem with this, I get stuck on waiting for server to start authentication every time I join a server or get sent back to the lobby Only happens on th newly updated servers

I use this tactic when being chased though the woods, it takes a couple more rounds on a viral zombie but if you've been running and aim a burst if automatic fire at the legs there's a good chance to slow them to a crawl ( literally!) It beats aiming for the head when they are running all over the place and your aim is wobbling from being out of breath and its also easier than unloading into the torso as the virals seem to just absorb body shots Aim low, spray, pray and keep running

Any zed can infect you but viral zed s are easy to identify They are the ones covered on blood like you said but yeah a little more to identify them from a distance mIght be good as well

That's why I always keep my CZ in my backpack and an assault rifle of low yield like and ordinary m16 out for zed killing Makes me look less of a threat and if I'm fired at in the open a couple of rounds from a CZ usually sends someone running as they think they are being fired upon from another position I usually just blind fire a few rounds from my sniper after I've found cover after running and a lot of times they have turned and run thinking it was someone else

I'm gonna say it because Orlok put it out there This game isn't made for casual players, and by game I mean the standalone Like arma and the other games by BI it's made for a specific group of players Should casual players be punished? Not punished per say but their playstyle is catered for on private servers where they spawn with gear and verchiles are every 5 ft My point is, why are casual players still moaning when there are a quadrillion servers with other versions which can let you get easy gear yet your complaining about a version you don't want to play If your a casual player , just find a server that suits your style, but just bear in mind the mod and standalone are evolving and most likely it won't cater for you in be long run This is just some friendly advice so feel free to rage to me about it but its no an aggressive 'play my way or quit' post

I've found then in doorways to houses ( new spawn locations) and inside small houses ect They can be hard to find, but I've managed to find a few, you just got to see those small towns as a chance to find them now I've actually spotted hen once on a door step using binoculars so try the tactic of getting about 100m and prone and scan your looting area to make sure it's worth the risk

Just because I replied after your post Ken Bean doesn't mean I was talking to you, so I quoted above the person some of my post was directed at just to point out the obvious The rest of my post was to people in general which is what they are doing, running straight in for a gun and dying, me and a friend saw at least 30 new spawn bodies around some of the gun spawn locations, most trapped in a room only with a hachet or on firestation stairs ect I never once referred to you in that first post you quoted or made any comments to the COD crowd or whatever you want to call it I was simply pointing out that this guy is eiether really unlucky as every time I've played since the patch loot has been easy enough to acquire with a little thought and efforts instead of running blindly into towns Your just picking for a fight/ argument, well your not going to find it with me Move along and troll someone else

Calm down, I'm not playing the ultra hard dude I was clearly pointing out loot isn't that difficult to find

At first I had the problem of no loot and kept dying, now it's much easier as like me your all looking in the wrong places I went from mp5sd from electro to an m16 with 3 mags from berezino where I acquired all my hunting gear without being infected, found 2 antibiotics in berezino and both were in non medical locations, found more morphine than I could carry Heli crash had m29 saw, m24 and some m4 variants, took the saw as it had 3 mags and the other weapons had 1-2 On the way to NWAF I found another antibiotics in a house At NWAF I found a DMR with 3 mags which I took, still have 2 antibiotics as got infected on the way there Left the airfield stocked with m9 and DMR ammo and used most of it helping 3 guys who found my M29 and aggroed into e barracks Guess how many players were online? 40+ / 50 And 90% were dying over and over at the coast Doorways, zombies and small sheds Problem is you all want instant finds of something decent, that's not going to happen

Lol this is hilarious Your m9sd didn't Agro then, I've been going around all day with an mp5sd and not aggroed anything and I've killed over 30 zombies Direct chat and having an infection cause aggro too, I don't know if its intended but when I had an infection zombies were aggrojng straight to me all the time and my hearing metre was always on 1 bar

I've found loot in doorways of almost any building so far but nothing in car wrecks ect

Lol I've been playing 2 days, no infection Found loot easily as it spawns in doorways of Orr buildings now I've been sneaking and easily getting gear and surviving Keep quiet and stealthy or you will die, the times I've agreed are only by walking around a corner head on into a zombie or a random zombie in the woods People are so intent on getting guns and shooting them they forget that the zombies are now a threat

Loot isn't as rare as you think, you are looking in the wrong places It now spawns in doorways of ANY building Found 3 sets of matches, 10+ food and drink and some antibiotics today in berezino Plus plenty of ammo

Great patch It's definantly a challenge and I've not had any problems finding loot although it is rarer By crouch walkibg through berezino I found 3 sets of matches so not as rare as people complain Yesterday in electro I ran into a hero and survivor pinned down by a dmr sniper and had a bandit come by saying he will give some cover fire, he fired some shots at the dmr sniper and the sniper logged After this an epic battle with the 4 of us ensued against a zombie horde The bandit died fighting them off in a doorway with his ak and I got infected and the hero with a hachet also died I helped fend off the zombies until my last breath as the survivor who had a Winchester hadnt been hit yet You would never see this in previous patches Thanks for the great work

Yes and also zombies do no damage to you

I'm not having trouble finding loot all, if you need food kill zombies, hatchets are everywhere and found guns here and there Not having problems finding gear at all, only medical supplies allude me

I do like most of the new patch, bit it does need just a few minor tweaks And saw my first 1.7.7 patch hacker with an AS50 spamming at everyone, the side chat was full of laughing as he didn't know about the 0 damage Also I don't get why people can't find food, I just spawned and went through balota and already have 4 sodas, 3 cans of food and Alice pack, hachet and pistol Most of the food is from dead zombies but its out there
