No offense but giving someone a gun and standing there while they betray you is a stupid idea I always tell them to wait until I leave before picking up a loaded gun, it's never failed me so far except once when a guy ran straight away to the gun and stopped speaking, all the while he was picking it up I told him to back off and that he stood no chance He looked at me and his arm twitched as though he was drawing and he went down with a bullet to the head Just common sense really

Groups should also take this advice, saw 5 men running down the road from the shipwreck to berezino today fully geared on a full server with their weapons away

I had a pristine press vest and I saw this newspawn on the coast who looked like he was new to the game (crawling past zeds and taking ages to pick stuff up) Ran up to him, dropped the press vest , a .45 with a couple mags, water Ect and went away He took a whole to pick it up though

No because I play as a good guy and EVERY server in the mod id have the bandit skin within an hour or two due to idiots trying to kill me When I did manage to get a hero skin I was actually killed on sight more because they didn't think id fire back in case I lost it People don't care, if they want to shoot you they will regardless of skins or ways to identify you

Maybe in those 40 seconds he was talking to you I always test my direct comm with friends before heading out and half the time the server eiether has it disabled or it works for some of is and not others I once met two fresh spawns, fresh 1 could hear me but couldn't hear fresh 2 and fresh 2 could hear both of us but we couldn't hear him but could see his text So hell, he probably heard you but you couldn't hear him for some reason

Nope I just met the guys near kamyshovo, we teamed up and they looted elektro while I watched with my mosin There were 0 zombies In elektro When they get to the firestation they said zombies came from nowhere so I went to help and that's what happened No idea where they came from

I joined up with some random friendlies on their server teamspeak and we went to elektro to help a unarmed guy A good 10-12 zombies came from nowhere and attacked us, we actually had to give a little ground before dispatching them The other guy with me had a .45 and I had a magnum, he got into a little trouble with that many I actually have it on video and plan to upload it later

I had this issue and both times had people with me Was inside a room facing the entrance with no possible way to get shot I die and my teammates can't find my body The other time I was climbing a ladder inside with a friend climbing up behind me (who was a good ten metres below me) when I just get "You are dead" My body didn't even fall past him, it just disappeared from the ladder above him and also couldn't be found (this was inside an apartment complex) They cleared the building after and no one was around and no one logged off the server So yeah, could be hackers or just a random bug

What makes a skilled dayz player? An example Grab a guy off the street who has never played dayz, make him sit down and give him a sniper rifle (in game) This guy must have no knowledge of the game or it's mechanics Give another guy who has played the mod and then standalone since it came out, give him the same loadout Place them a set distance apart with various cover Ect, and make them fight The guy who had played the game the most is probably gonna win, he's used he gun before, can judge the distance Better (a skill) and knows how much kick and how fast each shot will be I gurrantee the guy off the street will die without hitting the other guy as he's no SKIlLL using the weapon

A few days ago my sent my friend down to get some supplies while I cover him with a scoped mosin We had scoped the area well and thought it safe, he gets shot by 3 guys I take some shots at them and two of the 3 head into the woods while the other runs around in the open Can't spot the other 2....why? Because they just logged in behind me I hear multiple reloading and turn around to see they both are drawing their m4s as they just server hopped behind me I logged out myself, I look for a legit fight when I'm in combat and the moment they cheat I'm out of there Could have done the same and ghosted them, but I'm not that kind of player

Well this happened a few days ago My friend is a fresh spawn and I'm covering him with a mosin A guy runs up behind him and asks to team up with him so they team up with this random player not knowing I could snipe him at any moment For 30 minutes they loot together and find some basic weapons and gear and I follow (as the guy refused to use teamspeak, he ignored my friend each time he asked) Then out it no where a player types to my friend to get in the ground and drop his stuff, the teamed up player starts attacking my friend who runs towards my position I step out of the bush with my magnum drawn "Say hello to my friend traitor" Me: "this is why you should have stayed friendly" 3 magnum rounds drop him I then spot his friends on a roof holding up 2 newspawns, they execute one I snipe one guy, the second combat logs and the third runs away Guy number 2 logs back in, I drop him but re logs again and the guy that ran returns like an idiot to the bodies and I drop him with my mosin Got the video, might upload it sometime

Only combat logged once, I spawn in a low population server in the woods, right into the middle of a 5 man squad eating their beans 1. If I were hostile and gunned them down, I would probably have been mistaken for a hacker and I had an unfair advantage 2. I think it's fair to say it was a ridiculous situation that could never have happened in real life so I logged out before they saw me I wouldn't blame anyone for doing the same there

I saw a guy spawn at solnichny 6 times in a row Eiether that or he was playing lemmings off the water silo there

I spawned in a small town the other day after a server restart, which spawned me in the middle of the street so didn't want to take chances logging into a full server and get killed because I was forced to log in out in the open 1 other player on the server, I spawn in and he's there beating me with a baseball bat, luckily I managed to knock him out with a wrench and killed him It happens

Maybe have a submitting area that only the devs can read People make up their own stories or recount those they have had and a logbook or note based on lets say 5 submitted stories find their way into each update This would then spawn at a random or fixed location depending on the story This would add an ongoing interesting addition Some people could recount a last stand and have it implemented as a book in game or just write a survival tip that could be found and looted

So began my night in Kamyshovo,, just outside of elektro Sitting on the hill with my long ranged mosin, I was watching for bandits, observing bambis as they jogged on by oblivious to my presence 600m away After some time, I spot movement, but this isn't a newspawn running blindly towards elektro. Two men, clad in military gear and armed to the teeth crouch running along a wall, from the other direction a new spawn runs toward them, and my finger itches for the trigger as the two bandits rise together, unloading a hail of bullets into him. Not even bothered to loot him, they spot their next victim, a female survivor who hid behind a shed as they open fire, spraying the area with bullets. but the shed proves to be a haven for now. I line up the shot, I go to squeeze the trigger when something I never expected to happen.....happens.....not in dayz Out of nowhere a hail of m4 rounds rip apart the first bandit while the second looks around in panic. Then I spot another man, clad in body armour and a ballistic helm. Like a fucking guardian angel he shoots the second bandit in the leg and dives for cover. The bandit, broken and unable to move tries to bandage but the unknown hero calmly leans out and stares for a good five seconds ( I would love to know what last words that bandit heard) as a single bullet pierces the bandits head. Shaken the female survivor comes out, and to my surprise the man lowers his weapon, and gives her the bandits gear and she runs off towards elektro The man then runs towards me. Ready to state my intentions I head down to reward the hero but lose sight of him in the woods, as im scanning around I spot a glimpse and realised id forgot to record, I take a quick snapshot as he disappears into the woods as spookily as he came, and hope that he sees this, for he was a true hero and deserves to be rewarded for his bravery WHO IS THIS MAN? I have the player list screenshotted, if by some chance he sees this, tell me your name......hero PS: I was playing on a MPGS server about 20mins before this post

So whenever I join a server, I get either 'authentican timeout' and kicked after about 30 seconds or I just get 'session lost' This is on all servers, it was doing this once in a while but today its every server, what exactly is going on?
