I've actually been keeping score Bandits killed (some self defence and others I saw them killing people) = 23 Mercy kills ( player asked me to kill them) = 3 Times killed by players = 7

Hey guys and OP if your looking for a friendly server (well, more friendly than most) you should check out the CQF server in clan recruitment and then go to their website to get the IP address for it I'm part of another friendly group so if you see my name or any CQF guys you bound to find someone friendly though there's still bandits there as it isn't NON KOS It's just a small oasis where more friendliness can be found

Good stuff mrjoedirty This is exactly the kind of thing my group does, there's always some action from hostiles but we also meet some good people who are just very scared We do what we can and I like to think that some of these people will do the same for someone else

Stay playing this way OP I've been a good guy since the start of the mod and some of the best times were meeting up with and playing with total strangers I can be your best friend or your worst enemy If a survivor is nice I'll protect them, give them aid and try keep their mindset on being friendly Betray me, kill my friends or attempt to kill me and I'll spend the rest of my time hunting you down relentlessly It's just the way I play

Sounds to me like the game gave some karma to a server hopping camper sniper who wants to kill 'noobz'

OP No Don't not listen to anyone here, make your own desician Most people cant handle being a good guy and so become bandit And many bandits don't interact with players enough to see beyond their own needs There are good people, the people who say there aren't are the people who have never tried/ gave up after running at people screaming friendly and not approaching them right I've been friendly since the start if the mod and always have people with me when approaching others Make your own choice , but there are good people, just not many and there are some that won't KOS I've ran into 2 fully geared players this week and both were friendly, one was desperate for food as he had run out and I gave him some before he went on his way The other me and my group bumped into a fully armed guy at green mountain who said friendly before I could speak and he left after a Chat (he actually said friendly and lowered his weapon before spotting the rest of my group, me and him both ran out of the trees at the same point, was kinda funny actually)

There are true bandits and then there are people who do this.They feel powerful because they killed you, the ones who hold you up just to execute you it go after fresh spawns are the same guys camping the spawn points thinking they are true badass players There's a reason these kind of players do this...... Because they suck and can't get kills any other way And I've actually met 2 fully geared friendly players in the last few days, both times I approached them and managed not to shoot each other and lower our weapons and both times they were very grateful when my team covering me revealed themselves You have to tell people your friendly but won't kill them if they put their weapon away or agree to disarm (if you sneak up in them this is) They were both thankful and complied, one guy was actually starving even though he was geared up and was very happy he ran into us Had they chosen to raise their weapon or not comply they would have realised I wasn't alone very fast If someone approaches you and calls out and could have clearly shot you, don't try anything...... Because it could be us

Seen it before, one of their group is the designated hacker so if they get banned the others can still play and hackWas on a server in the mod once where the admin kept banning some people for hacking and when he checked the logs he said to the whole server one guy in their group had been teleporting them around and when he banned the guy only one other member of their group began hacking at a time until he just banned the lot of them My story: I was in solnichny when a guy appeared beside the man I was observing He already had his weapon out so I know he couldn't have just logged in He shot the guy, turned to EXACTLY the wall I was behind and tracked my movements perfectly as I moved side to side He then ran towards me and I went to make a run for it wen he followed, I unloaded a whole m4 mag into him and he laughed, one shotting me with a pistol from about 100 metres

After a firefight we found some beers, morphine and other substances. The servers need a restart to clear information, it's not something you can just fix Here's an idea, someone try constantly downloading onto their computer, movies and music Ect while also watching the movies, while also opening as many programs as possible That's what's happening to a server, a constant flow of information that needs to be sorted and cleaned up See how long your computer lasts without turning it off, or deleting anything, no defragging or similar cleanup programs Now stopping all these programs and deleting all the crap you no longer need and then running a defrag or cleanup is essentially equal to a server restart Or maybe try studying a new language, have no sleep and see how long it takes you to lose your mind or lose concentration Computers, people and servers need a break Maybe they will come up with a solution to having no server restarts but it's far easier for them to spend 5mins cleaning up the server then constantly cleaning it up with people are playing

I'll say it again No system will work I'm one of the good guys and would have a bandit skin when starting a new private hive in the mod, probably in under an hour or 2 Just from defending myself and trying to stop bandits in the cities who mostly had survivor skins because they join a server, kill a few and never come back I was being punished with a bandit skin for helping people, bandit skins restrict people like me from helping others I finnaly lost it after weeks of trying only to run into 2 survivors killing on the coast and got it right back The system doest work, I've helped a lot more people in the stabdalone because I have no worry about being labelled a bandit for killing someone who is up to something dodgy If they bring back a bandit skin, I'll probably not play the stanalone again as I'd have it all the time for trying to do good

Lol did it occur to any of you that people are closing doors after they loot? I do it all the time Some people do it to slow down other people and waste their time and it looks like its working Ive even watched other people loot and close the doors, especially in the coastal cities Anyway, not had any problems finding stuff, loot is there

Hey OP Hang in there, don't give guns to people unless you tell them to wait until your gone before picking it up Or like someone said, just leave the magazine nearby The amount of times I've given Someone an unloaded weapon and told them it was loaded and they aim at me and get CLICK CLICK is quite amusing really If your ever looking for a group that does some justice look us up below :)

Yeah it was in the early dayz of the mod, like a year ago now, he just forgot to do that

Somethng similar happened to us in the mod once. There were 5 of us in a car and when we stopped one guy tabbed out to look at the online map Thing is.......it told you who killed who on the server So it went something like Regulator 1 killed Regulator 2 Regulator 1 killed Regulator 3 Regulator 1 killed Regulator 4 Regulator 5 killed Regulator 1 (thinking he was a bandit) So his mk48 mod 0 went off and .......only I survived the burning wreckage and I shot the guy thinking it was a bandit and then heard laughter from another player nearby who then shot me in the back with a pistol and killed me

Nice story Being a good guy is far more rewarding but many easily slip into KOS ing Whenever you see someone who hasn't seen you and you think about killing them..... Just remember what happened with this guy and resist pulling the trigger Anyone can kill in dayz, not everyone can save a life
