Firstly I'll be on the lookout for you, I play on your server from time to time and ran into you guys before without an casualties on eiether side, traded a bit and went out own waysBesides even if I were a bandit, I'd know better than to mess with the CQF On topic No it doesn't make you a pussy, I've been playing almost 2 years since the mod came out and there been times where we've shot people and I felt bad Like when we come across someone and they don't respond or keep hanging around we warn them off and they just refuse to listen when we tell them to stop following us We can't tell if they don't understand English or they are hoping to knock one of us out and take our stuff so I still feel guilt for killing these people as they could have just been a newbie that couldn't work out how to talk

My group try to contact most people we meet, just to see if they are hostile or not I actually have a video I made a while ago on some tips and situations you might find yourself in so take a look and maybe you will find yourself in a similar situation and will know what to do http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-8NQZetsco Best thing really is have someone cover you while you make contact, make out there's Only one of you and you usually see pretty quick what their intentions are And always try to get into a position before they see and and say something like "I'm friendly but don't move or I'll have to kill you, put away your weapons and I won't hurt you" Don't be afraid to be like that, if your in control and they comply you can relax a bit If they turn, draw ther weapon or start looking for you then they are hostile and will likely try and Kill you as soon as they can so be prepared to fire first if they try to swing their gun around at you If they listen and sound decent, do whatever you wish, trade, give medical aid but just always watch for them backstabbing you as well

I would like to see spawns at the new city by the north east airfield, it's not like your better off spawning there than at Cherno or elektro in terms of gear You can get more by doing Cherno alone then at the north east airfield And some at zenogorsk and the west side would really add to the game

Maybe they are pushing out more content But I'd much rather have quality over quantaty

Not right now Most of the code going to be unfinished and modding now would just cause massive problems for the modders who have to then mess around with new updates Ect I mean we can't even hunt or make campfires, modding is a long way off and should stay that way

Today was a mashed up crazy encounters fest for me But one guy just completely best them all in levels if stupidity There were 6 of us, 3 on the ground and 3 watching outside where we are looting Suddenly we are told there's a guy coming and he sprints into our building, straight past the 3 guys outside which he saw, looked and ran straight past them, came up to the indoor group of 3 and started hacking one of us with an axe before we could even speak to him So he ran inside, and his escape was now blocked by 3 guys outside he then runs at the guys outside and starts hacking at them before a shitload of bullets from 6 guys hit him Somehow he survived and is now crawling with broken legs, still trying to hit us I tell the guy who got axed not to kill him, and let him crawl but he shoots him anyway Things is he had most of the tools, can opener, weapon sights, tons of food, ammo but no weapon, mountain pack and tons of medical supplies This guy had everything except a gun, had loads to lose and attacked us like an idiot But it was funny Any others got some stories to share?

Was a guy in elektro crawling and dropped him some morphine for his broken legs He told me his friend had been in the hospital behind me with a gun in case I killed him and I left them too it I was fully geared and they didn't kill me as I gave them morphine for his legs

Yeah from what I've seen so far they are aiming more for a death match adding more guns and player count to servers It would be so easy to make the zombies a threat( I mean when thy are finished) but I doubt they will as more zombies doesn't mean they are dangerous, increased damage as making them harder to kill would help somewhat but they will probably not do this, the way it's going in a year it will be start with AS50 servers all over again

Well this one time, I was over watching a friend as he was a newspawn and this guy came up to him and wanted to team up They looted for about 30mins and the new guy didn't know I was watching and following his every move After about 30mins this new guy stopped talking and started beating my friend to death totally at random when he could have killed him when they first met as this new guy got the drop on my friend So my friend ran towards my position and kept asking him why but he didn't respond and so I stepped out of the bush, told him why he was about to die and unloaded my magnum into him I hope you feel terrible for what you've done

Yeah I think I will, I like the look of the gun and the accuracy so maybe that will make up for it

Yeah had this happen to me, guy started shooting at some unarmed guys and I nailed the guy in a fight and almost immediacy the server restarted Also happened again later after we stormed a building and killed two guys, one of which had the same gear as the guy I shot earlier

It might be accurate but does terrible damage I got into a close range fight and hit the guy 3 times and he still lived and knocked me unconcious But I did break his legs and my teammate shot another 4 magnum rounds in to him before the enemy died Though I agree it's accurate, headshots are the only way to go with it or don't bother

I use bandicam as the files once saved are far smaller in space for the same recording in fraps It can take 10 mins to even load files saved by fraps in my movie maker, bandicam takes 10 secs It's the same for my movie projects too, I've not tried shadow play but bandicam works good enough for me

More zombies I think putting some more at military bases right now would slow down the server hopping If they combat log, zeds would still hit them and if thy log into some barracks there could be a good chance (on a low population server they hop to) that the zombies hit them or swarm them while they don't have time to draw their weapon etc, serving them right for cheating

I get accused of being a bandit all the time just because I fire first when there's a non responsive group charging me with their guns drawn We don't KOS or rob people, those guys are the bandits We go after people who are murdering everything that moves or we talk to them and see if they try anything funny, while making sure we have guys in positions ready to drop them if they do I don't care what they have or what they are wearing, if they are just looting and avoiding other people they obviously arnt looking for a fight so we leave them alone It's the guys with a 4 man sniper team shooting into elektro that define them as bandits

I haven't met any female gamers in dayz since the mod But the other day I came across a rather distressed newspawn who said he had been killed by two females, he said they told him they were friendly and when he laid stuff down they both pulled out hidden pistols and shot him for his stuff. Guess he thought just because they were female and seemed nice they wouldn't shoot him, he seemed pretty bummed out that he had been killed by two women I wouldn't treat anyone any different in this game, everyone is capable of betrayal and murder so it makes no difference who you are

Twice Once I met a guy in solnichny, new spawn A guy appeared nearby with his handgun already drawn and I went behind a fence He tracked my exact movements behind the buildings and fences as though he had ESP I move left, he moves left, I move right, his aim moves right, went prone, his aim lowered I lean out, dead, headshot at 50metres, 1 shot from a .45 pistol The other time we logged off a laggy server and when we came to a new server we were spilt up While trying to meet he is teleported to NEAF and dropped from a height while unlimited clip M4 shoots him Then I hear loud music in direct and I'm in open woodland with no bushes and no one around I managed to log out ok though

This one is mainly for the few friendly guys and gals we have out there Sometimes the threat is big enough for you to fire first, even as a friendly Bit at which point do you fire first Here's the scenario based on what happened to me recently Your looting somewhere when outside your building or the area where you are walking you suddenly see 2-3 armed players There is no way they will not see you if they continue towards you, however they have their weapons shouldered and don't know your there Looks like they are going to loot the place your in or run past your hiding spot and there's no way you can escape without them seeing you VOTE A if you would fire now So you call out to them thinking it's better they don't panic shoot you by turning a corner and walking right into you, if you didn't fire, they stop and look around with no response VOTE B if you open fire now They draw their weapons and You decide to try again, this time saying you won't fire and to put thier weapon away as you haven't shown any signs of hostility toward them VOTE C They respond by all getting out thier weapons and looking in your direction, they may have spotted you or worked out where the voice is coming from VOTE D if you fire now You warn them one last time as they advance guns ready towards you VOTE E if you fire now ( this is where I fire) They come into the area where you are, guns on your face and still not responding They open fire but you survive and escape to some better cover or building VOTE F if you fire back now Or VOTE G if you are completely peaceful and would either not shoot or attempt to escape rather than fight
