Hello, yesterday I finally managed to get DayZ running and played about 3 hours. Today I started DayZ again to join a server, but when I'm in the lobby is says "CD key in use" and throws me into Operation Arrowhead Main menu. I had the same problem yesterday with the ARMA2 FREE edition. I bought ARMA2 and OA for 20€ and got the CD keys for it. The .exe I got with the keys didnt worked and I wasnt able to install ARMA2. Then I downloadet ARMA2 .iso and OA .iso from another site, and with them I was able to finish the installation and play for one evening. My version ist the ARMA2 Combined Operartions and I play DayZ with the SIX launcher. So, what is the problem?

Hello DayZ community. When I play DayZ I get the "Recieving" message you get when you connect to a server. I get the message sometimes after 5 minutes and sometimes after 1 hour. The message can dissapear and can stay there forever so I must restart the game. I've played on many servers and the problem appears on everyone. This bug is really annoying cause if it appears I cannot move anymore. What can I do to solve this problem? I play with the steam version and the Six Launcher.

You dont get it do you? Off course people are getting famous for playing computer games. Especially if they are playing DayZ and writing in a DayZ forum. It is equal to all other amusement media. If people watch it and like it, then of course the person who is making the media gets famous. Or do you say that for example "gronk", "FPSRussia" or other very big youtube names arent famous? And why you get so angry about what he said? I'm not a fan of him but I watched one of his videos. If you're watching youtube dayly and playing DayZ, there is a high chance to know him.

Lol I can't watch the video in Germany because of GEMA. It's getting worser and worser. Got that you have many options how to watch it through different ways ;)

If the person, who blew up his camp, blew up his camp only because he is making videos and uploading them on youtube, it is of course "youtube fame" that destroyed his camp and not a random gang who found it randomly. I dont understand why you are all so mean to eachother in this forum.

Why does the AK looks so photoshoped?

I was fully epuiped on a night time server. Just running around in the woods with my NVG's and my L85. I then saw two guys with ghillies just standing there. In the woods its a different gameplay. People are ready to shoot everyone they see in big citys. But I thought its different in the woods because you almost never meet a person. But I was wrong. I though "Hey maybe we could team up and play together" and said "friendly". They started to run immediately and after 5 minutes of waiting and crouching in the woods they started shooting at me. After a hard fight I was killed by those 2 assholes. If I had killed them when I saw them, I would be alive now. But now I'm dead and all my ultra gear is gone. I think thats what you get when you try to not shot everything on sight. Starting all over againg is the best part of DayZ because the game loses its difficulty when you are fully equiped. The survival feeling is much better when you have only a makarov with 8 shots an a hatched ;)

Just log off and on again. Your location will be shown in the right bottom of the screen.

You will get a bugfree game someday. So you dont threw your money away. I just hope at that time there will still be people playing this mod :P

Who bought Arma2 to play Arma2? Almost noone. So it wasnt free. But I understand what you mean.

I've been playing for 3 weeks too and I never broke my legs with a door. I just open them and nothing ever happens to my lags. I once broke my legs as I was trying to V on my boat, but that was a obvious thing to happen. And the other time I crawled backwards into a tent which make me almost bleed out and the tent destroyd. And there was once a situation where I turned to fast and broke a leg. But no, I've never broke a leg with a door :D

Hello, I noticed that there are very few players on DE112, so I though we could team up and play together. Are there any player from DE112 here on the forums? Would be really cool if we could team up and find some vehicles and supplies for everyone. There are only 6-10 players on the server everytime and with that amount of players, PvP isnt really a good option I think. So if anyone is here from DE112, please respond.

Oh lol, I was fully equiped and was running trough a forest when suddenly I saw 2 guys with ghillies. I shouted friendly and they started to run. After about 5 minutes they decidet to shot at me, I responded quickly and landet a good shot with my L85 LS with Thermal vision, but then they shot me :) Thats what you get when you dont shot people on sight. I had the perfect opportunity because they were just sitting there doing nothing, but what did I did? Yes searched faith in humanity and lost it again. So if those guys who shot me read this. You should go to a doctor emidiatelly. Not being able to launch a arm is really bad.

I think this must be the greatest ownage of all time. Awesome video, but sad the URAL didn't survive :(.

Why the hell is this hacking for you? You can adjust the contrast, wow, thats a heavy hack. If its in the game it is there to use it. Besides everybody can use it. Its the same discussion with the 3rd person view where you can look "through" walls, and that is obviously very realistic. All others on the server can use it too, so its not a bad thing. But why is adjusting your gamma and contrast a bad thing?

My god, just change some of the video settings and if this isnt working you are simply unlucky. The Dev Team know about this issue and have already got a fix for it. So just wait for the update and dont go to big citys or airfileds.

You will have problems with the not existing graphic card. This laptop isnt good for games in general.

Just use Six Launcher or DayZ Commander if you dont know what to do with an archive.

I run the newesst Beta Patch and DayZ Mod version. I will try that thing with the video memory later. Thanks for the answers.

Actually after the 1.62 core update DayZ started to run better for me. After 1.7.2.4 then worse again. So its like always in DayZ. Updates are bad things! Win XP 32bit Sapphire Radeon 5770 1gb 4 gb ram Athlon II X4 640

Then play Mass Effect and wait for a new update :D I think I'll do the same. What versions are you currently using with OA and DayZ?
