The lag in major city's is horrible. Its a big advantage for people with good pcs.

Restart the game after changing graphic options. And try it out on different servers.

That doesnt mean you have to open a new thread.

Maybe try to change some graphic options. I think this has to do with the new update. Maybe you will have to wait for a hotfix.

How this "lag" looks like? When I play DayZ with friends I always have big lags. For example when my friend shot his weapon and I hear it only after about 2 seconds. I think this lag is normal for DayZ.

Is DayZ the only game where this problem appears? Or do you have problems with your internet connection often?

I have a Phenom 2 X4 6..something. And my game runs good enough I would say. Your processor will do a good job I think. Maybe you'll have to change some video settings, but it will be ok.

Just reinstall ARMA2. And make sure you install the Mod properly.

Video card is unimportant for this game. Processor and Server are the important things.

Maybe just try it out??? You cannot say how good it will run on your new PC. Sometimes the same pcs have different fps.

Have you tried to play on other servers?

He dont give any information about anything. Its like saying: "Oh, I installed DayZ and I cant play. Why?". How someone could even help this guy? Threads like this should be deleted instantly.

I dont even want to help you because of your thread title. But try to change servers.

It stays there if the Recieving message "blinks". If its constant, you only have to wait a bit. But this bug make the game unplayable. I was running on some field yesterday and someone started shooting on me. I was able to run behind a wall with lots of zombies behind me, and thats the time when the Recieving message accures. Everytime something happens the message appears. Also I the game is totally broken for me because of update 1.7.2.4. I have never got really big bugs. Sometimes a weapon dissapeart from my backback, which was not that bad. But after updating I have simply every bug the forum talk about. Its really funny that i never had the "debug area" bug before the update, but have it know every second login. Good that I respawn at cherno after logging in again. I dont want to play this game anymore because its just no fun to be killed every hour due to some fucking bug. Before the update I survived 10 days with one charakter. After updating I survived only one more day and then was killed with 12000 blood and one hit from a zombie, which reduced my blood to 3000, knocked me out and let me bleed out to death. So its not a lack of skill obviously. And please dont post such things as "its an alpha blabla" because every person in the world knows it already. Anyone got a solution for the Recieving bug? Its the biggest problem, between the lots of other problems, I have after updating.

Simply cut that out?

What server was this on? I never saw a hacker on my home server.

I searched long to find this in the Youtube library.

Yesterday I was laying in the gras and looking to a lonely building with zombies around it. I also saw a guy who was running around like an idiot and looking for loot. It was clear that he was a beginner. I was about 400 meters away from him. I wanted to test my CZ550 and to train a bit for a real fight, so I started to shot zombies. When I shot the first time I killed the zombie and the guy quikly ran into the building. It was great fun watching this guy through the windows knowing he is scared as hell and saying his prayers. But instead of running away or hiding he decided to go on the roof. Maybe he though he could see me better from there. I strugeled wether to kill him and teach him a lesson he wont forget, or to let him live and give him another chance. I decided to let him live cause it was too much fun watching him stumbling around the house searching for loot and agroing zombies. I think this could be a very fun way of playing DayZ. Just watching noobs doing stupid things, and helping them by shooting zombies which attack them.

Steam? Six Launcher? How did you intalled the mod? . . . Give some information.

Update DayZ via Six Launcher and try to play on other servers. Most of the time when you want to join a server with 4/50 players you aren't able to do it. So search for 40/50 players or so.
