No, both accounts legitimately own PMC and BAF. It turns out there is a bug with steam where only the account that installed PMC or BAF can use those. So I have two installs of Arma 2 now =\ one with the DLC and one without. which is a pain in the ass :(.

Failed to load file "pmc/addons/air_pmc.pbo" - decryption of headers failed. Right now i've got it setup so my second account uses a second install without PMC or BAF installed.

So i've been having this issue since Igot a second account, my primary account can play no issue but then when I want to switch to my other account I get a decryption error for PMC, both accounts own Arma 2 and all the DLC

Even so the amount of damage the items take is silly. I've shot someone 2-3 times with a mosin in the chest and literally everything on their body is ruined other than their main weapon, similarly i've had mostly pristine stuff in my backpack before a firefight, get taken out with a couple shots come back to my body after my friends guarded it and pretty much everything be ruined. It's like right now it's a 0 and 1 system for damage one shot ruins anything.

I have to agree that the priority the dev teams seems to be working under is strange. Zeds were glitchy as fuck in the mod but they are even worse in stand alone, the only improvement to the zombies so far is that they run proper lines instead of back and fourth and sideways and running away only to charge you 2 seconds later. But atleast in the mod they didn't walk through everything like ghosts.

It doesn't hurt anyone you say? How about being able to loot up full military loot with 7 of your friends and then going to spawns or farming spots and killing people who go there without any sort of having to worry about their gear? If that's the case hey why don't we give everyone the ability to spawn gear weither they use the ability or not doesn't hurt anyone right?

It's so they can loot up at a military complex constantly restarting when they've gone through it, Get all geared up then relog to a populated server to kill people with gear they don't deserve then inevitably die and go to do it again

The thing is, fresh spawns who have nothing most shed their clothes to say "hey i'm a fresh spawn I have nothing" many times i've run along the coat heading to bere or elektro and had someone with a gun running down the road towards me stop and unload 2 clips to kill me.

I used to do robbery, and hold people up. But now a days the only people who actually give up are those that have no gear to begin with. anyone with gear with will do one of three things, attempt to run off, combat log or turn around and start shooting, and more often than not #3 is what gets the person trying to hold them up killed. Because you gave away your advantage and gave them the time to do so. In the words of Captain Davey jones "They're easiyer to search when they're dead sparrow"

What I've been doing but i'de like to see a dedicated group of people doing this with a proper forum section like we used to have on the mod.

There's an ever growing number of private/ban on sight servers that admins are putting up. Previously in the mod there used to be a dedicated modstaff that this could be reported to now the only option is reporting it to the gsp themselves which most people won't do because let's face it they are too lazy. But many many peoples used to put up a quick thread on the forum with the server name and or IP and the mods in charge of that would handle it. I would like to suggest we start that back up. I have no problems myself putting the time in as i'm willing to volunteer to do it. I frequently check the server browser to Email the GSPs the name and IP of the servers breaching contract. But it would be easiyer if everyone just posted in a forum section. Please bring this back so we can get rid of all these cheaters.
