I can see the servers, but they are maxed out 20/20, 40/40. But when i join a server with 0/XX, it says waiting for host.

well, brkermit, i agree with you about the game. i've played dayzmod to the point of knowing where most player bases, best loot spawns, and have walked all over the map. Now, I may not have that much time on Arma as you have, but I can say that I've had enough experience. Since day 0 of standalone, I got my guy geared up already... and now I have nothing better to do. LOL. killing nubs is no fun either (maybe hunting them down is) but whats next...? It's like I beat dayz already, again. I just hope that when it fully releases and gets past all the testings, my opinion will change based on what other content's being put in standalone.

samething happening to me and my buddy. apparently there was a patch on ARMA II and ARMA II OAH. My buddy had steam running and it updated, kicked him out, and isnt letting him into dayz. I was stupid enough to run steam and catch the update from ARMA II and now i'm out of luck too. Tried diff servers, restarted a few times, and nothing working. So i'm pretty sure we have to wait for Dayz to update with ARMA II's patch.

Having more friends on the DayZ servers makes it more exciting. Story:When I first started this game, there was nothing but player versus player no matter where you go. Unfortunately it is still player versus player. So my friends and I began roaming together to survive and we'd run constantly into other groups who shoot on sight. It'd be nice to just have a group of guys running through the map together gathering great gear, vehicles, and to just have fun without the use of bloodshed. Although I only have about a months worth of experience on the game, I have done pretty much everything and I can travel to just about anywhere with a map and compass. Hope you accept! Also I learned a few things in the military about tactics that might help out against bandits. Laters.
