Currently night looks horrible in the standalone, so unless they have been working on it there's 24/7 daylight in the SA.

What i would like to know: 1. Are the underground bases still on the table? ( i know it won't be in the alpha, but later on) 2. If that is the case, will you be able to grow plants on inside? have a room dedicated to veggies, and maybe some medicinal weed? :P

I do know its costly, but didn't know about the royalty. And i don't want DayZ to be delayed.. i'm actually looking forward to playing it in its most buggy state.

Hey Euphoria is even better. I was just letting the guy know that they were able to 'blend' animations back then. I didn't miss that you mentioned it looked awful.. still doesn't mean it can't be done.

This is exactly what Valve did with the animations for their HL2 models. They used Softimage XSI and they 'blend' animations together. So no it does not sound stupid at all. I can't find the video anymore, but i remember them showing off how easy it was with the Antlion.
