Exactly. There will be only x amount of NVG for x amount of live servers. For the server hopping part they could log how many times you switch a server in a certain time span and give you a warning that the next time you hop.. you die.. :thumbsup: The combat logging is already tackled in the mod right? A simple timer for when you are engaged in combat.. so i don't see why that wouldn't be copied to the SA.

I don't expect anything until they say "Hey we are doing a weekly devblog" then i expected it weekly. That lasted 3-4 weeks. I didn't expect another devblog until they said "Hey we are doing it monthly now". Lasted 2 Months. Just saying, if you announce something it is kind off expected.

Got it since the Alpha and haven't played since the alpha.. maybe popped in when it was in beta, but still couldn't get the mouse to not slide over targets instead of on em, sounds were horrible and massive frame drops. So the lighting, although great, couldn't make it enjoyable. I'm very curious how DayZ will feel/handle. I hope it's allot more "fluid" then arma's original way of moving.

They seem rather different, at least to me. Pretty much everything is the same except for the lighting and the sky. Edit: some trees look a bit fuller, don't start hating on me i do like the improvement. I'm just curious how the game feels instead of looks. Edit2: i do also love the models joshua(thats what i think hes called) made.

Trail and Error, change one thing here -> effects something there. Most of the time it's figuring out why something isn't working and then you find out it was something simple. Also a reason why they can't give a release date. Today it might be look like it will be done tommorow. Then the next day it might look like it will take a week.

Keep to reporting on them Monthly.. as i clarified above your post. You know.. the "transparency" thing Dean has been advocating. Edit: again the devblogs / milestones were just an example of the main point i was making. Read back and enjoy. I also mentioned i know what Milestones are.

Ok understandable. I know milestones are not the same as devblogs. Altough they seemed to be the used as a basis for the monthly devblogs. As long as my point comes across. Looking for hints like the mask is giving the devs a bit to much credit in terms of planning. Edit: i would love to be proven wrong though. Can't wait to get my hands on the early Alpha either.

Damn, it´s like explaining stuff to little children. No i´m not part of the team. No i didn´t ment they are not ´hitting´ their milestone. I never said they aren't working on the game. What i am saying is: People love to get all hyped up about a simple things. Like the Guy Fawkes mask. OMG it must be a Nov. 5th release... To which i responded: Do you really thing they would create such a hint when they can't even keep up a weekly and later monthly devblog.

Maybe you guys are looking way to far into things.. You could be right, maybe losing people that would like to buy your game is a sound marketing strategy.. I know Rocket warned people during the last E3 that if you are looking for a polished game don't get the Alpha. Still doesn't give you an excuse to make up stuff and throw in the random "CoD". That get's old real quick.
