You really are dumb fs.....ill inform you one final time you complete moron and if you cant comprehend something so simple then there's no helping you so i wont try. Take into consideration everything i explained in all of my previous posts on this thread. This feature should not be added as its just simply very unrealistic to have manoeuvre the way you want us to...thereby forcing us to use a pistol to manoeuvre tight spaces when we shouldnt have to plain and simple. Also yes im saying that because in real life you would manoeuvre properly to not hit your guns off a wall or whatever ...that dayz weapons should be able to pass through walls....why ? because in this game with the arma engine ....buildings arent scaled properly to reflect real word buildings size and space or your characters size and many other things that in turn causes your players weapons to poke through walls and shit. So allowing weapons to poke through walls is a way of compensating for these character and building scales. God.... use your fucking brain. -

No ...hes forcing me to use a pistol to move around freely in tight spaces when at current i can freely move around tight spaces with any weapon ....the way it should be ...i didnt even read past the first 6 words you wrote as you obviously don't understand the situation here and haven't read all my posts. -

This is why you cant read to much into this kind of things ....the map and environment don't actually fit a zombie apocalypse does it ? absolutely destroyed cars all over the place and shit ? did everyone go into a panic and decide to destroy there cars ? i don't think so :P -

The setup is that there was a zombie apocalypse and your a survivor ...from then on ..its our story to make and tell. Theres no need for anything more than him telling us its a zombie apocalypse and he cant really as its not like your in a single player game playing as one character that has one back story. In DayZ we are all different people and will all have different back stories. -

Why does there have to be a set back story ? Isn't it suppose to be "your story" ? Think that's why dean hasn't provided an actual back story because he wants us to make our own story, -

I think the weapon accuracy is fine ...its more down to the server lag and your fps/connection or another players connection to the server that will make your gun feel inaccurate. -

Of course it fucking does ....did i say it didn't ? no i didn't so wtf are you even talking about.... what i was saying is we shouldn't be forced to use a fucking pistol because you have some odd assumption that people only hold guns horizontally in real life when in tight spaces when that's just not true AT ALL ...as i said before they would hold it in a vertical position or any position really just as long as it didn't hit a wall when turning. -
I myself have broken a leg once when i fell due to a bug in a building ....but ill tell you something iv tried to melee and also shoot several peoples legs to break them so i can handcuff them n bandage them up ...but they never actually break their legs so they either run off after i shoot them or die due to the damage of me putting bullet upon bullet into there legs/knees trying to break their legs.

Its good as it is but needs toned down slightly i think ....just very slightly. What people also need to realize is that theres plenty of ponds and water pumps around and soon with the addition of animals ...hunger will be less of an issue ...and also blood bags will be less of an issue as you can kills animals to get big chunks of energy back. Although i don't see why people need to start out thirsty as there's no real reason for it ...its not a problem as your never too far from a water source wherever you spawn. I think people are more annoyed at having to always look for a food and drink source rather than actually finding them...when they would rather be doing something else like pvp or gathering big loot. Still i prefer people having to move and worry about there food/drink more. -
Its not as simple as you think it is ...there's alot more to take into consideration such as alt+f4 and ctrl+alt+delete then end process. So a simple timer just wont cut it ...ill post here what i posted in another combat log thread. I think the mod had a decent anti combat logger feature. They should make it that if you shoot at someone then they are put in combat status and there exit/disconnect is locked out for a period of time (the bullets that cause them to go into combat status actually need to be shot at or close to the target) and if they decide to alt+f4 or end the games process then the server should leave a clone behind for the remainder of the time the combat status would have lasted (also the clone can also be put into combat status by shooting at or near it just like the player). This would allow players to then keep the clone in combat and if they kill the clone before the combat status period runs out then the clone sends a message to the server to kill the player it was cloned from. And if the clone combat status timer runs out it then sends a message to the server to not kill the player and then the clone instantly disappears. Thats about as close to being fair to everyone as it gets in regards to combat loggers or someone that simply had an issue and crashed or something .....i think as its just not possible to do much else.

Actually dual wield would be perfect for in buildings ....even with the worst aim ever you cant miss someone that's in a building right in front of you. -

The things is its just adding shit for the sake of adding shit. When i said instantly i meant very fast ...think about it in real life your in a small hall way and have the rifle in your hands and holding it horizontally and turn around but as you turn around you instantly notice the wall and send signals to your brain to quickly move your weapon in a vertical or almost vertical position as it will hit a wall if you don't. That message is instant and you carry out and complete that action within a few seconds ...a rifle isn't heavy enough to add several seconds to doing this and that's just common sense and not just a view held because of watching streamlined arcadey video games as you put it. In a game your cant replicate this kind of thing especially in the arma engine as its so slow and clumsy ...you would have to think of the gun your using then think about the way you would have to move your character and then the button you would have to press to change the way your character is holding his weapon then you would have to actually carry out the action of pressing the button then having to wait for the character to then carry out and complete the animation/action and all this takes way too long and just makes the game feel painfully slow and unrealistic. Anyways the topic is moot as the OP seems to think people move around holding guns only horizontally in tight spaces lol. -

It makes perfect sense ffs lol .... in real life would you turn around holding your hands and weapon horizontal in tiny hall ways ? no.... you would hold it vertical but the game wont allow this and if it did it would be very clunky and awkward as its arma engine after all and in real life moving your weapon into vertical would happen seamlessly and almost instantly. Sorry but you haven't thought this through at all and your topic is useless :) -

There seems to be an animation or view problem when crouching and using a gun ....I have my weapon raised (not aimed down sight) in 1st person and when i move left or right (also mabie forwards cant remember) i can see my arms glitching and blocking by view. Similar thing with prone ....when you ADS with a gun in 1st and 3rd person all you can see is your bag blocking your view. Anyone else got this problem? ...me and my m8 did and we where using m4's.

NO IT DOES NOT ....I pull my weapon out all the time ...hell i even aim it at people and dont shoot them ...it doesn't mean there in combat with me because i aimed at them with my weapon.....there is no words to describe how dumb you are if you don't understand the very definition of combat log:) It is your responsibility to put and keep people in combat ....like is said before.
