Yes it makes you think about how much the experimental patches are actually tested before being pushed out for stable patch.

This happened to me 2 times yesterday whilst running from elektro to cherno....both times i got teleported back 5-10 mins to a previous location. This was before this patch today so i don't think it was the patch.

I think its an experimental/testing patch....really wish they would add change logs on the forums for experimental patches so we actually know what we should be testing.

I seem to be getting loads of small updates to DayZ on steam mainly 3mb-10mb updates and just wondering what they are as it happens everyday nearly. I have taken part in the experimental patch and was thinking its just additional updates to the experimental patch or something ?

What you fail to remember ...is that when people die they are a new person when they spawn so should be able to loot any dead body ...be it his last characters dead body or someone elses. -
Yes i think its been nerfed quite a bit actually....before i stopped playing for today i went into a server that had just restarted and i searched the full balota airfield ...prisons, barrack, tents, the full lot...and didn't find a single m4 lol and noone had looted the area at all so its been nerfed or i was just extremely unlucky to not have one spawn there ...however as i finished looking for loot and was about to find a safe place to log off i saw another guy log in and i shot him dead with my magnum and he had a m4 :D

Well there isn't much variety atm is there ? so why shouldnt he want to get the m4 when everyone else is going for that and the mosin...stop being a smart ass.

Another horrible idea........ adding consequences to killing people is just plain stupid ...im sorry but it is. How about if i say to you if you become too friendly or are too much of a hero then your screen starts being filled with ponies and rainbows and you cant shoot your weapon at bandits because your too nice and friendly to do such a thing ? yes stupid when we start adding crap like that isnt it ? -

I tested something today with dgeesio .....whilst taunting he shot my middle finger with the magnum..then hand then arm ...no damage/hits registered :) Then i went into normal stance (non-taunt) and let him shoot my arm ....it broke my legs lol (we made sure to do it at an angle where it wouldn't hit another part of my body) Thing is iv been trying to break peoples legs by shooting there legs directly and never once broke them (i wanted to handcuff them:D) so now ill be aiming for their arms instead. Has anyone else tried this yet and came out with the same result ?

So who wants dean to add garrote wire into the game :P Id love nothing more than to be able to sneak up on a player and silent kill them by strangling them /slicing into there neck till they die :D Other nice additions would be suffocating people with plastic bags and shit ....manhunt anyone ?

Just a idea and would like to know what others have to say about this idea. At the moment you can currently open your gear menu and right click then eat food or drink liquids and also drink from water pumps and ponds. You can also drag this food and drink loot to your action bar/quick slots then press the corresponding button to eat or drink. For me it is very annoying having to repeatedly click this food and drink to consume them or press your quick slot and then choose to eat/drink. Now this would be fine if it was like the mod where you consume the full food/drink and it disappears but in the SA if you want to eat/drink a full item then you have to choose to consume it several times ...wait for animations for packing and unpacking before you can consume more. So basically would you guys like dean to add a feature where you choose to consume an item and then you are given several options to consume a certain amount of food/drink be it a numbered percentage bar ranging from 1-100 that you slide along or options to consume a set amount such as 25% 50% 75% 100%. This way you can consume as much as you want without having to sit through the animations of your character unpacking/packing the items constantly. A similar system for ponds and water pumps where you are asked something like this: Consume till thirst is satisfied Consume till half full Consume till full This way if you only have time for a quick drink as theres someone close by then you can choose consume till thirst is satisfied ...and if your in no danger then you can choose consume till full ....remember tho you can still walk away at any time a danger emerges be it a player or zombie.

Like i said above ...were not here to hide these glitches/bugs we are here to make them known so people can test them....they cant test them if they don't know how to do them and no before you say it ..they shouldn't find out for themselves as that's counter productive when people already know.

No the problem is you just don't seem to know the purpose of an alpha. Also so what if people exploit it ? We are not here to hide glitches/bugs we are here to make them known so everyone can test them and up vote on the bug tracker. Hiding them helps no one.

THIS IS ALPHA WHAT DON'T U GET ? The more people that see this thread can then test it themselves and then up vote the glitch on the bug tracker so it gets fixed faster.

I posted it on the bug tracker too ....and it seems you don't have a clue what your saying as yes more people will use this glitch but more people will also up vote the glitch and in turn it will get it fixed faster. If no one is aware the glitch exists then people cant test it to give there feedback ...this is alpha...remember that.

Melee is horrible atm ...easy but horrible. Only good part is fighting with fists. Still i dont see it getting sorted any time soon ...they have more serious stuff to sort before fixing melee.

Its to my understanding that experimental servers run on a separate hive as they are different versions from stable version and also that there are only a few experimental servers so server hopping wouldn't do much good or whatever. Cant jump between hives. -
