  1. There is also the problem that if you swing your melee weapon at a zed and it doesn't register/or zed glitches at you ....then most of the time every swing after that initial swing wont do anything but the zed is still hitting you.......you actually need to stop for a second or 2 and then swing again and hopefully it hits ( in that 2 or so seconds you've been hit several times) . Whilst not a massive problem ...it is annoying when the zeds shouldn't have hit you in the first place because it should have already been dead ...but now your bleeding ....or infected and lost a good bit of health from the actual zed hits....not to mention if you where very low health every zed hit could be your last as it may kill/knock you out and you die ...dieing to a zed that hits you after you hatchet it because it didn't register the hatchet it would idd be annoying.
  2. You haven't got a clue what your talking about and you cant comprehend what people are telling you ...so for the reason ill not waste my time anymore replying in this thread as its just going in circles. You can try troll bait me to get me to reply again but i wont :)
  3. There is no way to change it....and shouldn't be changed even if it could be. The kos'er may be at an advantage ...but why shouldn't he be ? hes putting in the effort to get that advantage ..your the one putting yourself at the disadvantage by not kosing. And you made your own choice not to kos he didnt make it for you. This game is full of advantages and disadvantages just like all games....cant fix that.

More nonsense ...a bandit is surviving like i said above and just because he shoots another player when he doesn't have to doesn't mean hes not surviving....any new spawn is a threat as they can shoot you as soon as they get a weapon ...why not take out the threat before it becomes one? .....and comparing a game to real life in the context your comparing it in is silly.

There is no problem....even bandits are surviving ...they don't let themselves just bleed out after being hit by a zed do they ? they don't let other bandits just shoot them do they ? they don't let there thirst and hunger kill them do they ? they will try and find antibiotics to cure infection wont they ? That looks like survival to me albeit not sitting in the woods watching there icons all day survival ...but survival non the less.

  8. There is no problem ffs.....you say there are too many players not fighting for survival. This is how to survive where even bandits wont kill you 1.Go to an empty town 2.Get fully geared 3.Head north find a water supply that you can fill your water bottle with 4.Kill animals for food or go to a town near the water supply and scope the place out a little. 5.Go loot some food when you know its safe and get out.....RINSE AND REPEAT. Thats how to survive ...you wont get killed by bandits and you can survive as long as you want so you cant complain about bandits....let them do there thing and run around killing each other....and survivors can do there thing and survive. Have fun sitting in the woods all day doing nothing but watching your food and drink icons.

It was one of the stupidest things added to the game ....players being automatically given certain type of cloths that he had to wear because of his humanity ....you think bandits would want to mark themselves as bandits by wearing certain cloths ? no they would want to blend in....how is that realistic/authentic?

  11. If bandits are to be punished for being bandits then any non bandits/heros should also be punished by doing zero damage to other players with their guns/weapons. Yes that's what i thought ....totally stupid to punish players for picking a certain role in the game. Sick of seeing these threads asking for punishments to bandits or complaining about the state of gameplay because of kos.

    Yes being able to put magazines/clips in your backpack then rejoining the server to fill the magazines/clips has been in quite a few dayz patches ...to be quite honest im not sure the devs know how to actually fix it permanently if at all.

    Although it would be great if you did take another look at zeds and sneaking etc ...me and dgeesio actually posted a few bugs such as players being invincible (whilst bleeding and having broken legs) ...players not dieing when you shoot them whilst they are unconscious etc ....did you fix those bugs ?

    Go find them yourself lazy ....there all around youtube or better yet go test it in-game (get swarmed run into a barracks or something and hatchet the zeds down you'll see what i mean) Nothing beats actually experiencing it yourself. And for the record ...all his video proves is that it took him 9 mins to get from tree at shore outside chern to reach orange brick house :lol:. If he was to spend that much time sneaking around like that on a full 60 man pvp server hes dead....its that simple. Yes he did prove one thing that you can sneak past zeds....that's easy but its very time consuming and nonviable. Im actually done repeating myself ...people aren't reading all the previous posts or don't fully understand what is being said and just jump in with there half assed attempt at a reply without any thought or meaning. All the info is in previous posts so go there for reference :)

    You've given a video showing they don't see you from a great distance...iv seen loads on youtube showing they do see you from a great distance when they shouldn't and also personal experience and that of people telling me the same in game and on forums. Go check youtube if you don't believe me (and make sure you check that the video your watching is the current version) . It also baffles me how you seem to miss the point that yes you can sneak past zeds quite easy but i think watching your video explains it all lol ..it took you 9 mins to sneak past zeds from starting from the tree at shore outside chern to reach orange brick house :)) its very nonviable to sneak around at that speed and will lead to you getting shot by a bandit in full 60 man servers...you can count on it.

    Zeds hit for a ton of damage now (most of it caused by them hitting you through walls and doors etc) and from further distances than they should be able to reach (with no animation alot of the time...just a thud noise) and yes they still walk through walls and/or hit you through walls/doors ...you don't need a video to show you that lol just ask honest people on the forums or take a good look at how they do it in-game version 1.8 especially (mabie you should try to go inside a house whilst swarmed or into a barracks and ull see what i mean). Listen you need to look at zeds again ...really take into mind the infection chance (increased by the amount of zeds you have on you) ..take into mind the damage they do and also that you cant sneak past them properly like i said from my previous example about crawling crouching running and waiting....take into mind the speed at which you can sneak past them in high populated pvp areas ...just take into mind everything you can think of that effects gameplay. Zeds in the current version are nothing but a glitchy annoyance that chase you into building untill u lose them....i miss the versions where you could sneak past them at a reasonable speed if you weren't too close or made too much noise and in the right stance using the right cover...hell i miss looting randoms houses (not in towns) for loot instead of this: Spawn....run to closest big town...lose trail of zeds before or in the town...find building and gather loot....run out and lose zeds through another house again and then loot another house. Its just not viable to do it any other way at the moment...its like ok i can spend 1 hour sneaking around a town past zeds to get some loot and most certainly probably get shot by a bandit whilst sneaking around..or spend 10 mind running around getting loot and losing zeds to get fully (or almost) fully geared and minimal chance of getting killed by bandit. And you got it right ...people go for the viable option. Btw im not saying zeds hit you through walls as much as they used to...but they still do.

    I was asking if you where talking about his SA..i didn't say you where talking about the SA. Also comparing to Deans 1.6.2 isn't what you should be doing (and no one said 1.6.2 was good in regards to zeds) .Dean was still greatly tweaking zeds a lot at the time but stopped as he was obviously focused on SA and you guys took over fully. With new additions and features to the game comes re-balancing and you haven't re-balanced the zeds to fit your new features...1.6.2 was mabie fine for the features he had at the time (damages ...infection...vision ...hearing etc) but u bet your ass if dean wasn't working on a SA ...then dean would have re-balanced the zeds to fit his features and i think you guys have overlooked this. Don't compare to 1.6.2 :)

    The end point is that zeds need massively looked at again before adding other stuff ....at current zombies still walk through walls ...hit you from a lot further than there suppose to and also hit you through walls...and that's all fine as its a mod and you'll never fully fix this ...but now urv added sepsis you get infected way too much. Yes its 1% chance per hit to get sepsis but you also need to remember that the chances of you getting sepsis is greatly increased with the more zeds you have on you and the fact that they also constantly hit u when there not suppose to... be it from further than there suppose to or through walls then the chance of getting sepsis is increased yet again. The original 1 % would be fine if zeds didn't glitch but they do so like i said that 1% is way too much especially on high pop servers where there's nothing to cure it as the wipes or whatever have been used by someone else or are so rare they don't spawn much....it would be faster to just kill yourself and try again and that's not how you want the game to be played right ?. Part of why the zeds need massively looked at again is because they see you a mile away...unless your crawling around all day your going to get aggro and zeds shouldn't be this "difficult" to sneak past. Not to mention that people find themselves aggroing zeds whilst at the other side of a building whilst crouching ? Infact i still see zeds that are facing the exact opposite way from me still aggroing me when im actually crouching and way outside the radius zeds should detect me from sound of crouching (and the funny thing is its usually always the zed thats furthest away from me that seems to detect me whilst not even looking in the opposite direction and im like wtf ?) . I see people complain about it all the time and know exactly what there talking about....not much of a issue for me as mostly i just run past zombies and lose them through several building ( or most of them at least ) but like i said above that doesn't mean i wouldn't love to be able to sneak past zombies quite fast without detection. Now before someone comes in and says something like you need to learn the game if you think sneaking past zeds is too difficult..ill tell you now its easy to sneak past zombies undetected but is massively time consuming and will get you killed if doing it on a full 60 man pvp server in elekto or something. A little example is this: Im having to crouch when i should be able to run around zeds. Im having to crawl when i should be able to crouch past zeds. Im having to wait for zeds to move away when i should be able to crawl past them. Go back and fix the basic stuff before adding all these new things ....this is the mod and not the SA ...we don't need all these other things that will be in the SA (as good as they may be) untill the rest of the stuff is tweaked to the best they can possibly be. Razor you and the rest of the guys are doing great but please go fix the basic stuff first.

    Yes it is a survival game and anyone can survive for as long as they want if they wanted its not like it takes any skill...you just loot a empty town ( or very low traffic town) ...get all the gear you need head north and basically you could survive as long as you want by finding a water supply that's near a town that is usually empty and just refill you water bottle and loot some food or kill an animal. But where the hell is the fun in that ? your avoiding all the fun and danger just to survive in a part of the map where people don't go. Now youll hit out with more crap but at the end of the day if you say the games about survival ...then iv just told you how to survive and never die ...i think ill do that everyday lol ...wait for my thirst and hunger to kick in then go refill my water bottle and kill and animal......great fun and very dangerous that is.

    I assure you he isnt bitching lol ...infact me and dgeesio love just running into chern and elektro carelessly then losing zombies through a building then shooting anyone we see ( i say carelessly but actually not so careless to the point that we run through main road into town :P ).....we dont find it hard to survive the experience...we get loot and then we run around in the high traffic towns killing people or camping a roof and have a laugh shooting the constant stream of people you get on a 60 man server. BUT that's not to say that we wouldn't like to be able to sneak around zombies quickly and get our loot as it adds more to the game than get aggro and run through building to lose the aggro (or some of it) as its the only way to effectively get your loot in a quick time without getting shot (or minimizing getting shot).
