CerebralZombie (DayZ)

Sounds pretty cool to me. Maybe do Diablo II style, take their ear! :lol:

When zombies catch up to you they should be able to lunge. This will end in you getting hit once, and the chance of them than stumbling to the ground. Maybe even have a chance that they grab onto you, and make it so you have to out tap them to get them off before the horde or just other zombies get to you. It's pretty lame to see zombies catch up to you, than stop, and attack the thin air. :lol:

So I've been in server "US #6969 twice now and tonight I'd seen a lot of the same players as last night. There is a clan that plays in that server with the clan tag, "[bB]". I was just about finished playing when I'd seen a kick report in the bottom left corner of my screen which read, "Player [bB] Skittle Tits has been kick from Battleeye for Vehicle creating #1" or something along those lines. (His name may have been [bB] SkittleTits as one word, not 100%. Also the report may have read, "Vehicle spawning, or creation".) So I didn't really mind but I guess he scripts? This also lead me to believe that they scripted/hacked me last night also! I had a backpack full of car parts, as I was heading to fix a car on the main road in between Cherno and Elektro. I fixed her up, got the gas tank full, and went on my way. I'd gotten the gas from the far East side of Elektro, and started driving to Cherno where at least 5/8 of the players were. (Maybe everyone was. =P) So on the main road there is a bridge just out side of Cherno to the East. I forget if I had my headlights on or off at that time as I kept switching for safety reason, but just before the bridge, bam! A players starts firing away on the car from the bridge. Mind you it took one shot to make the car un-drivable... So I'm trying to drive through the grass wondering why I can't move, and finally realize it's because 3 of the car parts are in the red. So I'm still taking shots, and just before I hop out more gun fire from just behind me. So the other clan member was on the other side of the road, and further back. I got out and took what I deserved, but did I really deserve it now that I think about it. They seemed pretty ready to ambush me while it's night time, and no moon light to brighten the map. So I am now iffy since it was the same clan, and now knowing they script n' hack. (Maybe.) Sorry for not separating the paragraph up, and thanks for your time! CZ~

So I have a question in hopes that someone can answer it. ;) You know how when a player joins the lobby of a server their name goes orange, well sometimes when I'm sitting in a lobby I will see a players name blink from orange to green. It does it once at a time, but I noticed it only seemed to do it to players that have a higher ping, or players that have suspicious names. (Like one player the other night had the name, "Administrator".) Last night he did it once, and then a few minutes after or more, he did it once more. Now just 10 minutes ago I was in a lobby and two players did it a few minutes apart, once each. I never really paid any attention in lobbies as I'm usually in n' out pretty quickly, so I never came across anything like this. Is it nothing to worry about, or are these players teleporting or something? The two guys I just caught in the server, "DayZCheranus" and the two players names were, "pdhc" and Riley Freeman".\ Thanks for your time! CZ~

Yeah it's very small, and very much a PvP map. I tried it once, and ran through so much gun fire, to get a double barrelled shotty. Soon after I was mowed down and killed. :lol: Edit: Woops, I was meaning the new map, "Utes". My bad!

You can only "Alt, F4" when in a menu. So you have to press "Esc" any ways, or even be in you inventory. ( Not 100% sure about being in your inventory and doing it though. =P )

Literally? I just come on to DayZ tonight knowing I'm near Cherno with amazing gear, I log into a server and it asks me to choose my gender... I never seem to get the chance to ever come in contact with other players or ever use my weapons before I get hacked, glitched, or some fucked up reason I can't explain! No wonder the DayZ community is dying, and fast. I never thought I'd say this, but I am almost fed up as my group already are. I joined out Mumble server, and for the past three days they have only been playing Battlefield 3, since they gave up on DayZ, and now with the news that I bring, I really need to confirm if there was a player/character reset? Thank the lord I didn't choose a gender! Joined a different server, and I am A-Okay! Few' ~ It wasn't even a different map either, but all good...

I'm down with that. Maybe have a drink as rare as Mountain Dew, but it should be an energy drink. It would make it so you can run at a full sprint for longer periods of time. :D

Well I wouldn't think it is that, since it's more of a quick blink. Say they are in game and their name is green. It will blink orange and than right back to green instantly. So they aren't really disconnecting out n' in, as it's to quick to be a normal ol' dupe. =P

Maybe when DayZ comes out for Arma III will there be enough zombies to satisfy players. =]

So a quick suggestion for the forums. Could you please add a section titled, "Arma II" or "Arma II Discussion"? I would be greatly appreciated to discuss everything Arma II that is not about DayZ. There is another Arma II: Arrowhead mod like DayZ that is a zombie mod with the option when you start a character to choose a player such as, police officer, doctor, ect, ect. I haven't looked into it myself, but I did see a video that showed a bit of the game.

I can see bringing an idea like that up for fun, but I think it'd be a waste of time to implement this into DayZ. Not that it would take really any time at all, but just no. =P
