Signed up! Still having trouble though as I'm needed to attempt logging into a server to get kicked so they can then add me. I'm not sure if my version of Arma or DayZ is to new, since I can't do so. I will keep trying, but any others atm?

Yeah it shouldn't be necessary at all. I know the odd person come across a problem with any mod out there, but the chances are very low. If you do run into a problem, just hop on the forums or Youtube and you'll be good to go.

Well you could wait for the Standalone version of DayZ. Both versions will always be updated, but I wouldn't doubt that the standalone will be their first priority.

Well if you want you can just get Six Updater/Launcher. It works fine with the Free version, and will install everything for you. Commander works for me though, with the Arrowhead Expansion and the free version of Arma II. Just gotta skip the message that pops up. Also I edited my first posyt a little if you passed it. Nothing to important there though. =P

No, you are wrong. I use the DayZ Commander, and all you have to do when the message that reads, "You do no have the full version, blah blah blah." all you have to do if click "No." or "Cancel" and it works fine. It still installs and updates fine for me, you just have to ignore that message. I do not upload or install by hand.

Yes you can. I do. Instead of paying the $30 for everything, I just paid the $20 for the Arrowhead expansion. You really are better off buying it all as I've heard the graphics are better with buying the full version of Arma II, and the fact that there are a lot of other mods that require Arma II full. There are also other mods that only require the Arrowhead expansion though, like DayZ. Also if you have all of the other expansions to, you get better gun skins. I play with the graphics on medium, so I didn't care to have better graphics either.

Probably half the times you were killed were nothing but normal. Just wait for the standalone version for less scripts n' hacks...

You can also make your own groups, or clans, or even stay solo. Ect, ect..

So I just got Takistan installed and up to date, so I started my new journey. It's great, and I love how all the buildings seem to be open! It also feels harder to find any weapons, especially main weapons. I was even in a server with around 40 players, so the gear you find should be better, right? Any ways, I heard gun shots not to far off, and went to the top floor of the 3 floor building. I went prone and went to crawl on to the deck, and that's when my leg broke going through the door way... Now I know that this can happen and I've had it happen while just running through a door way. I wasn't really thinking, and I'd spent about an hour n' a half just to find a Lee Enfield. I even found two barracks with nothing in them! The server allowed players to type to everyone, and I noticed someone ask if there was a hospital. I didn't see a response, and when I typed what happened I was spammed. So can any medic with the new map "Takistan" come help? I just realized I have no GPS, and don't know if there is even an online map for it...

True, true. It was fun discovering all of the new land. With so many open buildings too, it really takes a long time to do so. I just didn't want to since it really is hard to find any weaponry on the map, but probably since the amount of players running around. I shall do so!

What if your skill is sitting on your ass, being good at compooter, ect, ect? If players really don't want to have this system in play, than they can just choose a skill that does nothing for them, as probably the same in their real lives. :D Just bein' an ass, but I dunno Day-vee~

It would help with players calling out, "Hacker! Hacker! Bitch came out a' nowhere! Teleportin' Beeezneeez!!!"
