Haha, good times! After a whole week of playing I've only run into one group of two friendly people. Not sure why, but I've been on the coast a lot with servers that have 40+ people in them. No need to crawl so much, especially now. You can just run into an open building like the ones he does, and you pretty much lose most of the zombie that did follow you. At most you should only have maybe 3 zombies following when running full sprint into a building.

Yes it can be tricky to do yourself, but someone who is skilled in finding out will be able to for you! Drblodski has your back!

The game would be to easy if some zombies didn't run... If they were able to have thousands of zombies on screen at once than maybe it could be a mode, or a different mod itself.

You could maybe do "Ctrl / Alt / Delete" and go to the "Processes" section, than find the game that's running and right click it. Scroll down to "Priority" and change it to, "High". Depends on the computer but if you do "Realtime" it can cause problems I've been told. Even "High" can maybe, but I don't think high will do anything bad. =P

I also found a downed heli, and nothing! I literally thought from the look of it that there wasn't ever going to be anything... Although a bunch of zombies spawned out of it.

I've been running back n' forth in the air field/strip on the left top corner of the map... I can't find the/a barracks? Is there a barracks in the up left corner airfield on the map?

Those little towns out/up North don't really have any gear. Gotta get in along the shore, and when you run into a building the zombies walk. You should have enough time then to pick up the gear. I'd say if you want a gun way out there check a map online, or just find a farm, military area, and ammo can be in deer stands. Ect, ect... I lived for 5 days without dying, and I was only chased a long distance 3 times when I'd stated. I also watch a few videos, and was able to mix that with a tiny bit of practice to see where the zombies sights are + distance, and sound too. Again, ect, ect, I could go on...

Was it an axe in a stump? :lol:

Yeah my brother also says I should be running more. I guess I waste more time when I'm crouch walking between two groups of zombies about 10 feet away from me on both sides. x]

Press the "Enter" key on the right bottom corner of your keyboard. That'll make you go third person. Watch videos, they help you learn how to go near zombies, and you can also practice a few times by seeing how far a zombie might hear you or see you. To zoom you hold the right mouse button, and to lift you gun and look through your cross-hairs, you just click the right mouse button.

Yes you can fully re-map your controls. If you join a "Veteran" server, players that aim at you won't see a name pop up. So players will think twice when shooting another player if they think you might be someone from their group. Since there is some customization on the way your character looks though, some people may not have trouble telling the difference. (Or they might just be riding solo) I've heard when you speak into a mic that your voice can go around 50 feet or so? I heard that in the video titled, "The Days Ahead". Not sure which episode though since there are a ton. x]

Also could be that while you were loading into a server, someone killed you? I have not died yet so I'm not sure what happens when you do. Do you get to choose your gender again after dying?

I do not haver the answer to your question, but I did see a little boat washed up on the shore line. I didn't got up to it, but was it just a textured graphic like when you come across an axe in a stump?

I ended up in the big airfield way up north... I'm trying to now get back to shore after I gather some gear. >. <

After watching episodes of "Doomsday Preppers" I've heard that ammo would become very scarce, so I'd say the amount of ammo n' guns is fare.

Yeah OP just wanted to know if his bag will stay for a certain amount of time, or if it disappears after they go so far away from it...

Yeah when I just had "Arma II Free" I created a player and name. The I'd gotten the Arrowhead expansion and DayZ and started playing online. It said my name was "Owner" so i left and changed to my named player, and started where I'd left off with my "Owner" name.

Ah! Okay I get it now. Definitely report it, or as said, it should already be.
