Nice to know, I'll give it a try! :D Also to "WilkyWilks": My brother told me it's a waste of time taking your time being stealth all the time. I still do it, but you really are better off to run into a building where the zombies start to walk, and usually if there are 5 zombies chasing you, sometimes only 2 or so will actually be following you still. I have fun doing both stealth and run, but it can be better to just run since you will probably be dead some time soon. Don't want to get to attached to you character.

So after dying for the first time I started looking for a server with more players on it, and noticed that when I'd gotten to a town I'd either find no supplies/gun and I'd usually run into an ass that kills me even though I've said through the mic, "I have nothing, just spawned." So tonight I joined a server with a med player count of 25-30 people on and spawned near a pretty big town off the bat. I found tons of ammo, gear, n' supplies and then a Winchester rifle. Now I am set, and heading up north but I'm taking a break now. Not sure if I want to continue North, wait for friends to join, or go into a server with a high player count and see what's up. Any ways, I guess this should help with those new players that can't seem to get a break, or get any supplies. Just join a low player count server and loot away!

You can usually tell with a person and how they speak on the mic if they're actually friendly. If you are as paranoid as you say, then yes, stay away from others! Just sneak around, and don't chase after gun shot in the distance. I haven't ran into many players, unless I've just respawned. Acix says it's a PvP game, but not when you kill people with nothing on them. In that case it's PvN - (Player vs Nothing) Since you're really fighting nothing if the person have no weapon. It all depends on the situation, but i don't mind the PvP aspect, since it's like games where you have to make the right decisions, so sometimes you make the correct decision, and sometimes you don't. It's like one of those RL Stein books. "You're Dead"

Maybe go to a server with less players? I spawned near a medium town with supermarket, hospital, n' school, ect. I had found way way to much ammo to gather, and about 5 clips of CZ ammo. It was odd though because when I join or respawn new in a server with a lot of players, I'm not able to find a lot of ammo or supplies. I joined a server tonight with 25-30 players which isn't bad, but the town I was in was loaded!

Yeah the game is basically set far after the outbreak, when the zombies have gone to where the mass of people are. The zombies left behind and the people equal DayZ, except the amount of guns, ammo, and supplies is a bit much at times, but it really has to be that way with respawning and all

It all depends on the situation... If there was no food, or hardly any, then maybe. If there are a ton of zombies, then yes I'd want back up/people to help out. There are so many different situations that would and could go down in RL that the game will be the game. Just join a server with less people playing for now and blow them bandits away once you got some good supplies. I do hate when I've said through the mic that I've just spawned and have nothing, with no weapon in hand and end up getting shot/chopped. You get used to not being attached to your character very early in the game so it's no biggie!

I'm so pissed about that! I was there for so long, and had gone up n' down the run way 4 times. I didn't find the barracks anywhere... Later I had died, and that was after surviving for 5 days my first time ever playing. Good times though!

Yeah just switch servers... One server I'd gone to had a hacker constantly messing with the users. I lost almost all my equipment, then my leg randomly broke, and the little shack I was in caught on fire. It took me forever to crawl and find someone to end me. The zombies would walk right past me, and when I asked the guy with the hatchet if there was a hacker that just caused what I'd mentioned, he said yeah it was. Then chop! Haha! Don't cry, sheit happens. =P

So I finally died once after my first 5 days playing, and I started a new yesterday after dying. I gather a lot of gear in a hospital and town and was heading around it still to get a weapon or proper ammo. My blood drop was a darker green and a zombie came at me. He got a hit in since my vision somehow vibes at that high of health, and I wasn't able to give myself blood so I had to let it be. So the zombie hits me, I shoot him, and I start reloading but I'm not able to move at all. Another zombie is on his way and my character starts to spin, than the timer comes up. My brother just came home and said I should have taken pain killers which I had about 5+, and that I must have gotten glitched after being knocked out. I don't mind to much since I still have things to learn as I just did. I'm pretty sure I've learnt it all finally. :lol:

I didn't even know food gave health, haha! The more you know... I was just hoping to get a friend or another player to blood me up like once before. =P

Yeah it was just really odd that I was standing straight up while looking first person through my cross-hair spinning repeatedly as the timer went down. The glitch made it so I was confused about what had happened.

Damn, that sucks. The crash site I'd gone to was emptay! I run through the zombies and none chased me. =P

Where is this base located? Is it in the top left corner of the map? I'd gone to a big air field and there was nothing like that. No barracks either...
