There would be no reason to fire while running in any real life situation since no human in their right mind would chase someone with a gun in hand. Nore would someone run from someone without a gun in hand while they have one. (Like a zombie) The army and any other group that uses guns does not practice running while shooting since it would be suicide to run and gun vs enemies with guns themselves. Zombies don't have guns, and they sure as hell don't fear them. There is no reason to run while shooting in real world situations, but with zombies there can be an exception only in certain situations. It's just a suggestion but it would only be in a game built for zombies, not an army simulator. No biggie at all. I love the game, and really could care less if it changed at all. Most players wouldn't use it since it would waste ammo, but sometimes is worth it instead of stopping, turning around to shoot, and risking getting hit by a zed and breaking a leg. :lol:

It would be cool to have a train the just runs somehow and stops in certain areas, so people can hop on and take it if they wanted. Or have it player ran as you've suggested!

They should let you shoot yourself in this game. :lol: I've never used it, but is there an option to kill yourself?

Don't Admins have access to logs of what happens in their servers? I was playing near Electro (Not sure its name...) and I heard a helicopter fly over the town. I peaked out from the forest on the hill NE of Electro and saw the heli flying over staying in one place hovering. I'd just watched a video earlier of a guy taking out a heli with a few shots so I began shooting with my Kobra. He/she almost crashed into the water afterwards and then flew off asap. I then decided to proceed to Electro but I only got a few steps before I died instantly, from nothing what so ever... I swore it had to be an Admin since it was a Vet server and the fact the pilot didn't look at me or even take the time to look. Unless the hacker has a log of what happens or who shoots, then I don't know how he knew it was me. I lost everything and was pretty mad that shooting a heli would lead to such a punishment for no real reason. So can Admin of servers see a "log" of who shoots or what happens in their servers? ++Edit: Well I was going to post the server it happened in but all of a sudden it disappeared from my favorite list in Six launcher...

I wouldn't mind it since you can choose not to use it, but think of the trolls that would join up with a group and once they get their hands on a weapon. . . Or wait till the group gets enough supplies. I couldn't see many people wasting their time doing what I've mentioned, but it happens.

Those games are way to accurate while running. Have you played Arma single player, and have you needed a medic but rolled over and started to shoot any ways? It's pretty much impossible to shoot anyone unless they were right up to you. Say maybe like a zombie? Wow, if you read my full post it says, "but shooting over cover blind is much worse to have rather then shooting while sprinting." to make a point of the fact that games actually have blind fire over cover which is pretty stupid unless an enemy was right there since you heard them, so shooting while running isn't that horrible since it can be done. (Especially if the zombies faster then you) I've also done that many times. I know it just takes practice so I'll not care about have a run n' sprint option once I'm good at turning around and aiming before the zombie gets to me while I jog backwards and shoot. At the moment though they always get in a blow before I can start running forwards again.

I don't mind the mechanics at all. I should have mentioned in my first post that this would only apply to handguns.

It'd be like shooting blind over cover. They also don't have that in this game, but shooting over cover blind is much worse to have rather then shooting while sprinting. It can get annoying running from an aggro and turning around to fire a whole clip and maybe hit him once to get attacked and have to start running again.

It would definitely add more to the game and to the survival aspect. It'd be a bit like Metro 2033, or even S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Neat idea! :thumbsup: :beans: Edit: Oh wow, I didn't even notice someone mentioned these two games! :lol:

Maybe create a mod in Arma where you can play as a cow?

Only lame thing about this video is the fact you're in a regular difficulty server... When you're looking for fire fights it's no fun being able to shoot a guy in a tree/bush because their stupid name comes up. I still give you beans for a very nice video! DDP sucks!

Yes indeedy! Our clans/groups are the "Re-populating" aspect to the game, since in real life a lot of people would hope to re-produce to re build our world. So other then that, yes we would kill or be killed.

I play in Veteran servers every day. I've only been hacked/killed once and that was in a Regular server 2 weeks into this game/mod. People aren't not playing this game because of hackers...

Well know that tons of zombies seem to spawn when shooting a loud weapon, I find myself fighting of a constant hoard of zombies when shooting my Kobra. It's to make up for having so little zombies in game, and I'f rather just have a bunch at once so I can plan my attack and know where the zombies are. I understand the zombie limit at a time has to be what it is, but I can't wait for Arma III's DayZ! Edit: You could also join a server with little to no players if you really need some supplies and can't play a shooter. Everything that happens in DayZ I'm able to live with...

Even if you can see the names you probably won't know who did it... Even when I'm in a fire fight and the person f4s I check the player list and they're gone any ways. The hacker will probably leave after he does what he does, before you can see the player list anyways. I'd say they join a Vet server just incase of getting caught.

I've never picked up a tin can in the game though, so why in real life?
