Weh-wah... I've been to the barracks so many times, in so many servers with tons of players to few at a time. I have only died once around the NW Airfield and have never ever had a problem. Wah You Are Dead -
So I was in one of those barns with the two sets of stair on each side, and came across a body on the top of one side. Now he had a lot of gear and a nice Alice bag, but I then noticed he was carrying a "Horn". It had no icon beside it, and the text was aligned the same as other items. Any ways, I clicked the arrow to add to my gear, and I did not see it get added... I looked over n' over again and nothing. Does anyone know what this, "Horn" is? Was it maybe hacked? Sorry about not getting a screen shot, as I haven't taken one before in Arma. Thanks for your time, CZ

So I read a thread about a torch idea and though maybe another good light source in a zombie apocalypse would be either a lantern which would need matches to ignite, or a miners helmet. The helmet would be much better then the G17 while running as it would have less bobbing to it, and the lantern would have a wider radius without the colour of chems or flares. I know there's night vision, but as I mentioned some players prefer normal colours rather then green, blue, red... Also in real life night vision would be pretty scarce. Any ways, this is just a mini suggestion and I could care less if the added it. I even could care less if they changed DayZ at all except for bugs, ect, ect. Thanks for your time, -CZ<

I just found a player with one too! I also started a thread on accident, since I thought no one had come across one yet. I should have searched the forums, my bad. I tried to grab it but it disappeared after doing so.

Haha! It's like a pinky swear... The problem: Players who want to "pretend" to be friendly and then betray the other, but won't be able to do so. Since when the say "no" to the friendly invite, the player will either run or shoot them. Not going to work, in probably more then just this way. -
People shooting unarmed people, why?

At some point in the game a lot of players say to themselves, "I will shoot anyone and everyone on sight." Usually those who have been shot by many others for no reason, and then the others that shoot you unarmed are just asses... So combined both and you got a lot of dead weapon-less beechez. :lol: -
There could be a lot of light sources like this, but we will have to wait n' see.

large cities/sewer systems

Just wait for "The War Z". They will probably have sewers, and alley ways for sure! If they had sewers in DayZ it would only have to be from building to building and maybe a street or two in a town like Electro or Chern, but that will never happen. Wait for Arma II for any changes like these. -

It can take awhile, but most people just run, grab, n' go. No point in taking your time when you're probably going to die pretty soon. Not saying I don't take my time here and there, but once a zombie see's me I'm off! It should take about 30min+ in a town like Electro, and then I head North for some real weaponry. -

You can walk slowly up a hill and they walk 2x slower. Great way to get away in the wild. Also I think the zombies can be harder if you're using a loud weapon such as a Lee or a Kobra. They just keep spawning and coming after you if you shoot them. The numbers sometimes become to much are repetitive, so you are forced to gather some supplies quick and peace! -
Light source suggestion (For night)

Yes I'd love a flare gun to shoot one up in the sky as it slowly floats to the ground, lighting the whole area. Still I want to be able to run and see with light. With the flash light on a gun idea, the gun points downward when running and makes it pitch black still. Haha! I'd love the ability to create a trail of gas and light it up! Or even a building, and maybe around a building with someone inside it! -
Game changer (Server supplies/gear ratios)

So once again like any suggestion I make, I really could care less if it even gets considered as I love DayZ and don't care if it changes. To start off, I was in a thread about having more cars and less gas. Now this would drastically change the game, and this is how I came up with this idea. The idea of letting servers choose how much of what they want to spawn by choosing a percentage on a slider. They could choose from general or specific and choose the spawn percentage to anything on the map. Now I already can see that it might not work for everything since some items only spawn in certain areas, but it still should all in all. With this different servers would give different game play, and with Wiki/Google and just seeing how many players join what servers, the Admins will then know what players want and be able to set the percentages. Players may get bored of playing the same ol' DayZ and hop to a server with say... A ton of cars, as if Russia's car supply didn't just disappear or get destroyed. Also changing the sliders would justify how far along the outbreak has been going. Servers would obviously have the option to keep things the same, so everyone would be happy. Either way though, if a server really wants to change I guess they could mod it themselves? I know, I know I could see this going both ways, good and bad. Once again it's an idea that could be changed, as to only be able to change certain items percentages. -
