I feel they are to slow right now... It's way to easy to get away from a horde. Also they need zombies to lunge at you once they catch up, and hit you once, or grab on. (It would vary.) And some would even stumble after, and than again a chance of falling after a stumble.

Haha! I just found a Mountain Dew earlier today, and played for about an hour afterwards. Went offline for dinner and than logged back on and hopped into a server. When It loaded and before I could spawn I instantly died... Never has this happened to me, and no one else in the server died, nore' did anyone leave. They really are cursed, unless some scripter/hacker planted it and did something to it to do that.

I've only had this happen to one server that I was going to a few times. I usually just join servers with the amount a players I feel like playing with at the time. The only time I'd stick to a server is if I have a vehicle in it, or the server my team that I joined plays on.

Yes be careful! Just today I found my first Mountain Dew, and I'd left DayZ to eat dinner. I logged back in, went into a server and insta-died when joining. This has never ever happened to me, and no one in the server died but me... Nore' did anyone leave. Maybe players that script/hack plant Mountain Dews sometimes that are set to mess with you or kill you, but who knows. Just be careful, and I promise I am not lying about what happened.

This happened a bit when I first started playing DayZ. Sometimes they'd have no weapon like me though. It hasn't happened in a long time now. Maybe even longer than a month but it depends on how close exactly, since I could spawn on the shore of Cherno or Elektro and it's bound to happen!

Gotta love the good ol' Lee Enfield! Not bad, not bad at all. Good way to show players how the game works and certain situations, ect, ect. =]

They probably just want to sell them cheap before the stand alone version comes out? Not a big deal, but how do servers work? Do you have to get them for each game and rent them out, or can you switch your servers over to another game after? As a host of course.

Awh damn... I'd like to have that since I want to try other mods built for Arma II. I can play/get any mod built for Arrowhead only, since I bought that expansion but got the free version of Arma II... Instead of paying $30 for both, I went for the $20. :P (I also use Steam.)

Yeah I just earned my bandit towel... But than died and started as a normal survivor. The hero better have more perks, and maybe even more to keep people from SOSing, and as it is harder to keep.

Had that happen... I kept logging in n' out of a server, and nothing. So I went to another and it got stuck on the loading screen, so I "ctrl, alt, deleted" and closed Arma II. So I join the same server with no problem this time. I realize I'm able to walk and I'm free! So maybe keep trying?

Yeah it's okay... Nothing I haven't done myself in DayZ, and no conversation I haven't had with my friends/team mates. I like the mix up of different footage though, to keep things interesting. =P

A lot of players have mentioned to have a bunch of starting point / spawns that are sort of an intro to the game. So depending on where you start that would cause you to have different gear, and some say a different intro video. So maybe not just a hospital? I really could care less for any sort of intro, but wouldn't mind a bunch of spawn points all over the map!
