    @Metric: I've had it all on highest, to medium, and to lowest doesn't seem to make much difference to that. @kruxed: As far as I know you can't turn off HDR and only Post. I turned off post but it didn't do anything about the lighting.

    I've only just started playing DayZ over the last 3 days, but one of the biggest issues I have with this whole thing is whenever I can see the horizon my screen goes almost black. Then I look away and it grows very bright. It makes it intensely hard to see things at long distance or move through buildings with multiple windows/light angles. Has anyone found a way to fix this or at least mitigate it? I looked into some other Arma 2 mods but quite frankly they were very confusing for me and I couldn't get the to work successfully. Not to mention I don't know if they'd work in the DayZ mod either. Any help would be much appreciated.
