If you want to be prepped for any situation you go with silenced M4 or Mp5 (M4 is better) silenced 9m if you have it (usually never use it with silenced rifle) 50 cal sniper if you get lucky and fin one you can zero out to 1200m, there is even one from heli crashes that zeros to 1800, otherwise cz, m24, or dmr (more setup time with windages) to shoot 300m +. If you have zombies between you and your target that are within 300m and in used silenced rifle over that range if you don't have zombies around you (within 200m) you can use sniper with impunity. Love those 50 cal snipers though 1 shot kill.

Well done, who leaves a chopper unguarded / piloted in the middle of an area like that? I hope I get so lucky to come across a situation like yours. I doubt anyone is going to top that ambush, but I did once see a dual helicopter raid on a running bus.

Someone actually gets it! I will be interested to see the dynamics in the game change as we shift away from bandit morph. Would still love to see global chat / voice to be disabled.

The worst thing I ever did... god I'll burn for this E-sin for sure. (Background) Running through the SE side of elektro along coast (survivor skinned at the time), with 5 zombie trainers keeping me motivated for my morning jog. I am running from building to building picking up new friends while trying to find any ammo whatsoever. I come across another survivor with an AK can't stop to type so I start running the zombies in circles around him. Bless this man for instead of shooting the idiot trailing zombies to him he dispatches them all. (Evil Part) He even offers me first aid as he gives me first aid (pain killers, bandage from a zombie pot shot). I open his backpack while he is bandaging me and take 2 extra makarov clips from his alice pack, wait for him to finish bandaging, wait for him to turn his back, quickly reload and unload a clip into the back of his head. I am back in business (AK-74 Kobra, plenty of supply utility gear/ammo/food) and headed to hell!

I am quite suprised at the responses that call for avoiding killing other bandits, unless threatened... Bandits drop the best loot and I am still looking for some NVG... and my aggresive ways always have me in need of beans for blood which everyone carries.

I kill anyone not in ventrilo with me regardless of reason, there has only been 3 exceptions both people were spared because they had the drop on me and did not fire, when I say drop I mean snuck up dead behind me and told me their intentions. Third was a survivor who shot zombies off of me when I had no ammo.

Hi figured I would share the solution I found. The problem: Unable to drink/eat or use new inventory interface. Right clicking the item directly in inventory in bag (where icon/slot it takes up in bag is, on right) would not bring up the eat food, drink water, and other options like it should. Solution: I deleted all dayz mods and re-downloaded all and installed them again, and I was able to use new item interface without issue. I later found out I needed to only re-download and install the dayz_equip_v1.2.4.rar
