Military loot spawns can drop morphine, got some from Balota Control tower, and I've even gotten blood packs from deer stands... its out there just harder to find. -
Thank you for all the hard work rocket! Any chance we could get an ETA on helicopters coming back for the general populace? Another bug that has persisted through builds is take a compass/new weapon usually makes you drop your ammo (all not related to gun/those equipped for survival take option...).

With the hatchet being fixed and being able to kill a cow for 8 steaks for 6400 health, and most other animals aside from chickens dropping 4-5 meats (3200 - 4000)... I don't have any difficulty finding a knife... then finding wood or a hatchet... then finding a animal to slaughter (this is much easier to do on recruit servers d scan / tags makes it super easy to find animals), but if its not pitch black at night animals stick out in plains. Blood packs as others have said actually require people to work together, it is a insanely overpowered survival tool.

I remember when clipping a tree or rock meant you exploded in a plume of fire.... now I just ding a wheel (in a car) you still die in a ATV thankfully.

@Solid.nl, you mean to tell me you never got caught in a gate camp (died within seconds), got hit by doomsday, or primaried by a fleet (fleet vs fleet) battle in popped in a single volley.... did you stay in high sec solid? I would equate ^ these situations to being caught by a sniper / server jumper. I once killed a 4 billion isk partially faction/officer fit golem in a class 4 wormhole, him and his tengu friend were running WH sites... we probed them out and slaughtered them.... no local population update in a WH... While not as useful as local chat (giving population etc), side chat is full of intel/propaganda/ the usual eve banter.

it seems buggy for me LOS wise, sometimes I can lose 100 zombies simply by rounding a house corner... other times, I can run through a 2-3 exit building, around corner, and (crouch running walking prone-ing) and I'll have 5-8 faithful keep with me.

I am an Ex-Eve player and this game has many eve like aspects. I love the fact you can take everything from a player, no skill / training requirements... nothing lost to explosion / violence. Penalties for death have been severely lacking in most multiplayer games lately. If this does wind up being on a tranquility size server with players being the content creators, Rocket will be collecting my subscription fees for years to come. Dayz has a similar progression, to EVE... you start off desperately trying to survive and conquer the learning curve. You get proficient and beat the PVE aspect (killing zombies, getting gear). Then you take on the domination aspect (PVP), looting and pillaging other people's camps, vehicles, and territory. I have to praise Rocket for making the game more challenging and engaging, I loved when we were fighting 1200-1500 zombies with insta-respawn safety in numbers or die, I've never had to give so much attention to the constant PVE factor... just when you think you'll never die to a zombie again... one will tackle you break your leg and knock you out while their friends devour you.

The loot issue with newest patch seems to be if you leave zed lost inside building no loot re-spawns until you kill them.

An additional way to scavenge vehicle parts?

I support this idea, I would love the cripple enemy cars (that I couldn't steal) and salvage non-offroad car parts for a off-road car. Just imagine taking off a few key parts, sitting in a treeline and killing everyone who tried to repair it. -

I would pay a high base price 50-70$ for a stand alone game. I would even pay a $10-15 monthly fee if it were a Eve Tranquility like world where there is one server and the players/community drive the content.

My favorite thing is playing on veteran / expert servers with no name tags/death messages. I claim responsibility for every, who is shooting (I am I respond... Keep typing do you stand still a while longer). Player At X location are you friendly? I say " No I am not friendly I see you disarm and assume the position!". Player at X location gets killed because of my hostile response no way to prove it wasn't me. My friend gunned some peope I Elektro general store, I claimed responsibility while way up North.. Even went as far to fake my death (disconnect messages still show), lull them into a class sense of security so they would come out of cover and get killed by friend. Oddly enough peope catch on and stop using side chat... I am doing a public service. -

I'll save you the trouble of looking up my post history, I am merciless and evil bandit to those who I don't know outside of the game and am ventrilo with. I could see this idea working out if you fortified around the Northern barracks and industrial area. You could set up a tent farm industrial area and use the walls and choke points to you advantage and get a massive stockpile of goods from firestation+barracks+control tower, without too much risk to yourselves to open ground. The only issue with the industrial walled off area is you are very at risk to frag grenades. You have to watch your chokes with a minimum personnel (frag grenades love bunches of people) and I would keep a bulk of people in Forrest behind wall. The southern barracks has a similar setup is a little more spread out less loot spawns but safer lots of free cover and you could police more angles. This would be risk versus reward on can fill tents very quickly. I would reccomend setting up vehicle hideaway, away from your premium secret off base tent farm. Personnel wise you are looking at about a 10 minimum (at all times) and 25ish man prime operating time requirement. Hangers are suicide for looting due to snipers. Also firefights and the the firestation control tower are an issue with unsilenced weapons you can get overrun with superior firepower just because the zombies respawn so quickly. Smarter bandits are going to harass from the trees, snipe (hangers+control tower and firestation) and use frags, smarter bandits will eventually find your premium tents and vehicle base... But If you have a larger enough operation you can replace your losses much faster than they can take them or move your base on occasion. Ideally your fire teams will be holding your premium items so losing your premium base is less of an issue because they were just backups. Good luck vehicles will be very necessary because it's a 40 min sprint (not stopping) from most spawns, copter makes round trip transit about 15-20 min and cars round trip is 20-30. -

Hitting / clipping items in vehicles at speed = explosion with this engine. Going around the town in said vehicle in field is wiser choice to many barricades to contend with. Game loves the Hollywood explosions vs realism I guess. -

Anti tank RPG is actually in game absurdly rare barracks spawn, sadly it's only effective vs vehicles, focused charge won't blow up cluster of zed or players.
