You mean completely? Well if your character is stuck somewhere and you need to suicide then there should be the option. All it needs is a confirmation box. I am worried that i will do it again in the future at the worst possible time. Belive me' date=' your pride is totally destroyed when you accidentally kill yourself! More Realistic Ammunition Mechanic (Bullets and Magazines separate)

Equip the magazine (like a weapon) and press "R" x times. Then maybe use the scroll wheel to choose which magazine you will use when reloading your weapon. -
The downside with a chopper or a rescue boat would be the snipers that camp near, just to shoot the players that moving toward the vehicle. BUT, it will be heavy armed NPC in the boat/chopper that will shoot at the sniper if that will happen. Kind of bad mechanic but would prevent some pointless kills (game-ruining). OR let's say two guys running toward the chopper and one of them are a douche and shoots the other guy, then the NPC would start shooting at the idiot. I don't know what kind of event that would occur after some survivors escape. But it would be nice if something happen. Maybe the rescue chopper drops some med-supplies/food and water or something. Like the survivors that have escaped tells them that there is lots of people there that needs help.

A possible objective that I would like to see is a rescue. A reason to stay alive. I don't find that reason now. I don't know if Rocket and The Devs is planning any kind of backstory or something. But lets say, 1-2-3 times a week any day any time. A rescue helicopter or a boat down the coast arrives at random spots. If you spot the vehicle (or hear it's call on the com-radio, if it's going to be implemented) run to it, it will just stay for 5 min or so. If you make it, end, or if you'd like to stay to evacuate with your friend, then stay and wait for him. You hit a high score table or something, THE list of survivors.

I kind of liked the bugged loot spawn. Finding a pile of roadflares or finding a crossbow with 2 bolts was such a great feeling. After Been running around for 30 mins just finding empty cans. A little jump to my next point. The spawn points should not spawn anything if theres a player within 50-100m. Now you can just camp on a good spot and harvest the loot every 15min or so. This would make loot more scarse (could make). Like most people say, this is not the beginning of the apocalypse Its in the "middle". So why arn't all houses already looted? -

@umbra: Sure! To add some variation in loot. It could be some stuff like, string, debris, duct tape and different junk. That could be crap for some and valueble to some. Like repair a hatchet (add 100 points to a damaged one, not more then a total of 50% ((hatchet with 450/1000, repair,500/1000, 50 are wasted). So it will brake eventually.) building trip wires etc. -

Durability to hatchet and other melee weapons. Let say you have 1000 points on a hatchet and 7000 (or infinite) on a crowbar. An attack takes away 0-150 points and when chopping wood it uses 0-50 points. When reaching 0 the item is broken. You can still use the handle of the hatchet to attack but will take a while to kill a zombie. Handle have 2000 points. The points/durability are not visible to the player. -

Exactly! I had to wait, don't know if that is fixed now, but I could not do anything. Even if I alt+f4 (the only way to exit) and joined a new server, and got to the menu with re-spawn/abort/settings (before I actually entered the game, I re-spawned with a hourglass). You have to wait... -

I like the idea! But I don't think that Rocket and his team will do anything with this yet. Kind of low priority, I started a tread and wrote this... Would be nice to combine, with this. "Lets say you start with (cloths/skin) a pair of jeans and a shirt. You got two frontpockets and two backpockets. One or two small pockets on your shirt. No backpack and no tactical vest/hunting vest, no extra pockets or leg pouches. So, what can you carry? 2-3 small arms magazines in to one of the frontpockets. One can of beans into the other (big pocket). A bandage to one of the pockets on the back + matches. A map in the other. And a compass in your breast-pocket on your shirt. And a water bottle attached to your jeans. This will be 9 inventory slots. Now with the current inventory you got 34 slots + a main weapon and a sidearm. I don't think the inventory is a big priority by the developers at the moment, but worth to discuss. I think that, not more then 9, should be the starting inventory space. Mechanics(?) One skin + one backpack/bag + one vest (bulletproof vest w/0 slots instead of tactical vest) + one other pouch Starting skins - Inventory slots ~9 Findable skins - Inventory slots ~9-13 Tactical vest/hunting vest - Adding inventory slots ~8-16 Backpacks/Sling bags - Adding inventory slots ~ 8-24 Leg pouches/Other pouches - Adding inventory ~ 3" -

If the hourglass don't move a bit. just wait for your character to die of hunger or thirst. I think that is the only way. Happen to me a while ago. Leave the game on, and take a walk for a hour or two. -

YES Do bandits hear other bandits (with kind of equal hum.) heartbeats? A -500 should hear a -5000 but a -4900 don't hear him so well. Would remove a possible "mate, do you hear my heartbeat?". Bandits team up with other bandits. -

Would like to see these kind of changes! Maybe not the blood types. But I would prefer this two to be like... -Pain Killers Don’t spawn with any Depending on the severity of the wound, might have to take more than one. Take a while for effect, slowly ~10 min -Morphine Don’t spawn with any Add a slight blurring effect for the beginning of the dosage, for ~15 min. Don't fix a broken leg. But take away the pain of a broken leg (like lots of painkillers), but you still need to splint your leg to be able to walk. With broken a leg, you walk slower after the healing for a short period of time, maybe an hour-ish? A little less common, most people don’t have morphine in their house. -
That's the thing, I don't think 1 player should be able to take out a whole city with zombies on his own. Except if you sitting with a M240 (machinegun) or is amazingly good with your rifle/gun.

I like randomness in the game, to not be really sure how to approach a situation. If you don't know if there is any zombies in this (what it seems to be) empty town. Not to know if my almost empty magazine will put the zombie down. So sure "hordes" could be nice, sometimes at some places. Other times empty towns, but mainly I think the amount is fine as it is. Agree! You should not be scared of other players, just don't trust them. The thing you should be scared of are the zombies. The should be horrifying! Encounter them in panic. Now it's the other way, kind of.

I don't think we need more of the infected, just to make them harder to kill. It is kind of hard to say if anything right now, with the upcoming changes of the infected. But just a thought. I had look at the new changelog for the upcoming patch. And I really enjoy the new changes with the behaviour of the infected. But something that I hoped would be in it is this... (2.30 min in) but not from lag or any glitches. I don't know if or what Rocket has in plan for the backstory, how the people got infected and how the virus change the body and mind of the them. But lets say the infected are numb to pain, trauma and chock ain't anything they worry about. So the only thing they could die off is blood loss, or maybe stop their inner organs working. A bullet to the brain, heart or lungs. Maybe 6-7 bullets from a small calibre weapon. They sometimes fall down to the ground after 4-5 shots (sometimes 1-2 shots, sometimes not at all) but gets up and continue to chase you. Some will crawl instead. I think this will create great tension and drama instead of knowing, that 3 shots from the Makarov and 1 from the rest will put the to final rest.

OK, no high score if it's better for you! The game deletes from your computer and and burns you hard drive. It was an example. Do you know there is a leaderboard on the website http://dayzmod.com/leaderboards.php. Nothing happens then, you will respawn with a new character. -

When I first began to play DayZ I didn't like/hated the idea of having a objective or an end, other then death. I loved to run around the cities/towns/landscapes and explore. I started to play when 1.5.6 was released. After a while it gets kind of dull. And I haven't found all the "good" stuff, machine-guns, vehicles, tent etc. I'm kind of an "rpg-geek" and like to PLAY the game, not to run around collecting the best shit.
