Need Medical Assistance? We can help.

Yeah, I can get on teamspeak though I may be disappearing until tonight soon. I'll make my way as quick as I can and arrange with you over PM when we can both jump online. Also, was wondering if I could tag along with one of you guys as I'd be interested in this line of play. Perhaps as a medic escort to help cover and scout etc?

Ah, he's a weird one - I need antibiotics for the dayz flu :( at Mogilevka, don't know if anyone has any of that precious precious loot?
  3. I love how reluctant so many people are to believe that at least one guy out of thousands playing is good/lucky enough to run around and kill a 100 dudes. I mean, a lot of them could have been unarmed or simply looting which is easy pickings. I say kudos if it's legit.

Looking for a mostly bandit group/ another lone wolf to run with.

I've really been enjoying lone wolfing on Lingor but could do with a partner to take turns covering etc, PM me if you're interested in someone to run about with :)

    What is it about DayZ

It depends on your mindset and situation, the game does have a tendency to have moments where it's completely lackluster of stimulation - though other times those times can be filled with suspense instead. I enjoy playing the character as myself too, really enjoy hunting and cooking meat solo and all the other nice additions to the game. Although the zombies obviously aren't the real stimulation to keep playing I find I enjoy having to trick them and stuff often. On Lingor earlier I was searching military barracks and using smoke grenades to send the dozen or so zombies running off (only had a hatchet at the time) But yeah as others are saying the true thrill of the game is either gunning down players or being hunted by bandits if you're a survivor.

    Did rocket kill me?

Pretty sure he's only killed one guy and is still repenting over it anyway :P

Be Warned: Deceitful players on Chernarus and Lingor

Yesterday I'd managed to ghillie up and get a nice big pack full of all my needs for the push North, the server was about to reset so I laid down out the back of the firestation. When the server came back up I rejoined to find myself inside the building tower still. As I went to the ground floor there was a bandit in the main room with an enfield shouting "Friendly, friendly man!" I asked him about his bandit clothes and he said he HAD to kill him. We talked for a few minutes and he even dropped a couple bits of gear for me. Then out of nowhere about ten minutes later he just shoots me in the head, kicked myself for a while on that. The line between being trigger happy and overly trusting is fine on this game, especially when people can chat to you casually for a while and give you gear before taking you out.

Those things you do when you're bricking it...

Had a guy all up on the industrial stairs by the docks of Electro unarmed with a ton of zombies on him, I kept yelling "Dude, stay up there I'll lead them off and help you out!" He proceeded to fumble on the ladder the opposite side and fall to his death. As calm and tactical you attempt to be in this game, I think one of the main reasons some of us play is for the adrenaline rush. Especially the first couple of kills I got, man I was sweating more nervously than that time on my first date.

Those things you do when you're bricking it...

Although I take the game with the attitude of a survivor, it's scary how this game envokes the fight or flight feeling in me more than any other game. It's like, I knew I should have opened comms and said "Friendly, you guys need a hatchet to get started?" But after being shot in chest my first thought was "Oh fuck, his buddies, KILL THEM ALL!" To make it worse I accidentally had my rifle on rock and roll mode. BLATBLATBLATBLATBLAT.
  11. You guys ever panic fired on someone, or fell off of something whilst sprinting out of sheer fear? Feeling sorry to the two guys I unloaded an AKM mag onto that were sprinting into Electro, had just killed a bandit by the hospital in melee range - took a bullet too, only to see two players sprinting in a straight line towards me through some gardens shortly after. I only realised one was unarmed after, though I let the second one run seeing the murder count to one. He came back when I was in the shopping centre and broke my leg with a crowbar, a shotgun blast to the face and some morphine fixed that situation - learnt that it's best to kill them all or not at all. The city does horrible things to my trusting of other players.

    Your first murder!

Got my first 2 murders today in quick succession, moving with a buddy who's been playing for just a day, he had a hatchet and myself an enfield from Prigo. Approaching one of the barns on before you enter Cherno we spotted a tent. My friend crawls towards it whilst I check the treeline, seeing a lone survivor with his sights on us. 2 Enfield shots and he's down, managed to score an mp5, makarov, medical supplies, bigger pack. I did it partly because I knew he would shoot my buddy, but boy it felt good. I moved into a watchtower behind the hospital, finding a guy opposite the road on a lower roof camping the hospital area. My buddy and I peppered him with mp5 and enfield rounds, looting him for an AKM and some other bits. Once again I made that call because we needed to loot the hospital (buddy was on low blood). I can't help but feel I could have tried to negotiate with both if I took the time, but after my city encounters (3 executions whilst empty handed or with only hatchet and calling out friendly) I decided the coast isn't the place to play nice. I feel like I'm falling to the dark side :'(

I'm hearing a lot of negative feedback.

There's been speak of losing your character in the update that was bugged also, seeing as I've only had the game a couple days I'm not entirely sure how the devs work with Six Launcher and the consequences. Is it best to not log until all this blows over say tomorrow? Or if I've updated without booting the game, is there already a chance I've lost my character profile?

    It's Friday 13th...

So, have you guys been cursed by today? Perhaps a door broke your leg, your FAL get lost in the inventory, crashed your heli? Making a second trip to Cherno later will be tempting fate I think...
