Unluckiest (kinda): playing on an unfamiliar server, finding a PBX, motoring out to sea to avoid snipers, server restarts leaving me at sea with no boat. Luckiest: Making the long swim back to shore on my regular server, to find a motorcycle (my first!) and a jerry can waiting for me. P.S. Motorcycle is the best land vehicle in the game for a solo player, I love it.

Would you prefer they put a respawn button inside the respawn button, so you can respawn while you respawn?

Took a boat to Drakon Island with my first M107. Climbed the lighthouse and started practicing on zombies to learn how to use the mil dots. Saw a guy running to Elektro, being chased by zombies and bleeding. I managed to take down two of the horde (still haven't got the hang of mil dots), and last I saw of him he was still running. Hope you made it, dude.

So I was just on a rooftop in Elektro when I heard a bullet whizz past. I go prone and seek cover. After I get to cover I hear footsteps, so I turn to face the sound. And no one's there. But there's a fountain of blood moving around in mid air, to the sounds of footsteps. Having never seen this before, I take a second to track this mysterious invisible bleeding person that seems to be running in circles around me. And then I die to a sniper's bullet. So what the hell was that? Invisible bleeder working with a sniper? I'm officially confused.

True enough. I guess I'm not a practiced Alt + F4'er.

I didn't even know about the waypoint system until now. I'm glad I didn't, because it forced me to learn how to read a contour map and how to navigate by terrain recognition.

Ever the brave one, she boldly swam between the rocks and surf to the submerged deck of the decaying vessel. Suddenly, I heard a horrible crack, and she cried out in pain and fear. Her femur had been snapped by... something. As I watched helplessly, lacerations opened across her and hot blood spurted into cold sea. Her voice soon died out, and her body went limp, bobbing lifelessly with the rise and fall of the waves. I fell to the shore, weeping and in shock. Do not follow in our wake. Do not visit that accursed wreck. Something evil lies in wait there, something that will break your bones and suck the marrow from them. That place is death.

I love the North. It's full of tents and vehicles just waiting to be raided. Besides, you can get shot anywhere, North or South.
