Okay so i just have to ask, how the heck do we get our server populated at night, during the day we have anywhere from 10-23 peeps on the server but once it starts getting late.....the server dies down. Like tonight there isn't anyone on, just our good old friend Rott.... :) And he is on our Tavi server we have put up. So any suggestions, or any late-night gamers on, but on a server with no one on....lol? Cuz if we all just get together, then....the server wont be so lonely, and i stay up all night typically, and play games online :) So does my boyfriend :) And yes i used comic sans, sue me! I personally like it :)

How many players do you have on your server? Have you ever thought about merging with another community? Me and my boyfriend and trying to build a gaming community :) F8LGaming, we are currently running both our dayz server and our minecraft server on a VPS, and we wanna build up and host servers on it for other games like Killing Floor, or L4D or L4D2, Ect. We just have to keep building our community :) VPS hosting is a little bit more expensive then a pre-host sadly, but it means no more red/yellow chains on our server, and gives a better playing experience. Not only that but my boyfriend now has access to all our server files, so we can alter pretty much anything. He is thinking about making bags a couple slots bigger, so in the end the Coyote Pack has 30 instead of 24 :) but with us now being on a VPS he has access to change that kinda stuff. From what i understand it is way better then a pre-host :) If you really want our minecraft info send me a pm and i can give you the ip, we are still building up the community area, where you log in, it is a little work making a minecraft server lol. I just dont want it to be confusing like some servers you log in and it is a maze to get started you read like 500 signs and just to confusing for me. LOL so i have been trying to make our spawn area, less confusing. And i agree, i admin way more then i play, and anymore i like it better, on dayz anyways. On minecraft i play. lol I dont use cheats at all, unless im helping someone to meeting someone new, which we haven't really had newbies on our server cuz i haven't really been advertising for it just yet. We have been doing major updates to our server the past few days, and moving all our files over to a VPS/Dedicated Server :) Moving our server to a VPS will improve server lag, and other issues like that. We have also done the update to our server as well, so it is up to date with the newest version of DayZ. The server will roll back 2 days, we copied our files over to the VPS on the 11th very early morning. I have noticed our server (current one, thru a hoster) has been up/down, i am guessing our provider has been doing updates to their end as well. Our server will have a new IP but you can still search Planet F8L to find our server, and once our vps server is up i will update this post/our website/facebook/steam with the new IP address!!! Sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing :) but once we are back up and running *tonight* hopefully, everything will be tip-top!

Word to the wise, :) There are tons of private dayz servers, i would surf thru first, and see if one sparks your intrest for you and your friends before adding yet another dayz private server to the list :) Just some friendly advice. Me and my boyfriend recently started a server, we have a decent population but it takes forever to get that on your server :) we were lucky to have a few friends that played it prior to setting up the server so they all joined ours :) Your more then welcome to check out our server, you may like it :) Info for that is in my sig :)

Hello everyone We have taken a poll on our server from our players, and they have all decided that they wanted the server wiped, to start fresh! Now is the time to join, server is nice and fresh, and everyone that is a regular has started over. You are now all on even playing fields if you wanna join the server now is the time to do it!! We hope to see some fresh new faces on the server we are excited about getting it more and more populated! Once we have this server where we want it (roughly 30-35 players) we are going to be opening a second server!

I like bases/camps but ones above ground that people can still break into if they are tactical enough...i don't think underground bases would be a good add like said above it would be very hard for people to raid, and if you can't raid someone's base one way or another the game would get boring :)

Yes i know :) It is just strange seeing the population so low lol :) But it is summer, and most people *us excluded* like to be outside and getting sun tanned and stuff :) So i totally get it !

Plus we don't have AI, we did at one point but it wasn't good on the server *i forgot to take it off the list on here* So the other stuff we have, like car tow, you can do that in real life, so i don't think it makes the game bad by any means....and base building, that you can also do in real life, and im pretty sure the SA is going to have something like that as well. But It is your opinion, just don't really appreciate the negativity you brought to my forum post :) When it does clearly state in this post, as well as on our server title what we have, why join if you didn't like the things you read? Seem you did it just to get on here and complain!

Way to have it planned out LOL :) Sounds like your pretty geared out, i would find a good spot and hide some of my stuff, and go out and find more :) And a car maybe :)

It may even delete on its own or just be unusable, we have our own server and when we first put it up jeff (my boyfriend) was messing around with some admin tools and stuff, and he tried to spawn something but it delete right away, so we assumed it wasn't suppose to be in the game.

Planet F8L Taviana Private Hive New Server! Me and my boyfriend have put up a new server, with the Taviana Map! We are excited to get some new players, on this map! Remember we also have our first server Planet F8L Chernarus up and running still, with a good population on it (most of the day 20+ peeps) If you play on our Planet F8L Chernarus map, you will know that we are decent/fair admins, and we are almost always on. Yes i agree, but my boyfriend doesnt, he thinks it takes away from finding NVG's, But we do have Street Lights that come on at night in all towns :) that is neat i think :) Bu i do agree :) Agree, we have thought about trying to find servers to merge with, but i think that could cause some sticky situations, like we don't play the game anymore, me or my boyfriend that is, we admin but we usually greet new players, help em group up teach em if they don't know something, we don't really pvp, sometimes my boyfriend will host events with pvp, usually on the weekend. We didn't this weekend sadly because we have been working on getting the tavi server up and running. But lots of admins will just pvp with their admin abilities on which is not right, and even if they don't, and they are just playing which i have seen happen to, people cry admin abuse just cause it is a easy thing to blame :S But me and my boyfriend are the main admins, and the other 2 guys that help us out, can only spectate a player, and check there gear, to watch for hackers, if they happen to make it on our server >< We have a great anti hack program on our server. Paid a pretty penny but it is suppose to prevent the hacker from even getting past the main menu, where you hit okay/disconnect. And we haven't seen a hacker since we got it ;) Anyways point being lol, some people that run server do it to play with their powers, and do what they want when they want, it would be hard to merge with peeps like that cuz that is not how our server runs, and it get sticky when things go wrong, and everyone blames everyone LOL Nice : We don't mind to much there are some guys that don't use it at all lol so :D You can always check out our server :) we are doing it just for fun there are about 10 of us that play :) msg me if you want the info ;) Ya like what i was saying above people run their servers how they wanna run it, and unless you find someone that runs it to your standards, it would be hard to merge with other servers :)

If you want to play on a fun server :) with great anit hacks :) and great admins, that don't abuse anything!! You should check out our servers, one is in my sig, and the other just search for Planet F8L Taviana :) We are trying to build up a good community, and you can sign up on our website on www.planetf8l.webs.com. If you wanna, you dont have to sign up to get on our servers or anything but there is tons of good info on there !

Once your back in you should check out my server :) info is in my sig, it is usually populated with about 15-20 peeps :) We have new anti hack program that other servers don't have because the person who created it hasn't really made it public so there are a few select servers that have it as of now, and we are one of them :) We also have a tavi server, it is called Planet F8L Taviana :) You can check that one out if your looking for something other then the regular cherno map :)

Do you not use push to talk? Lol, we are tellin our friend that is on right now to invest in push to talk, cuz all we are hearing is him spit his chew in his cup lol. >< We are giving him a hard time lol

We are not off to a bad start we have about 60 people on our www.planetf8l.webs.com :) And now with the minecraft server we have a few other, real life even, friends that play on that. I sent you a msg :) We, like to play more then one game all the time and we do have a VPS we run our dayz off of so we can run another game on that if we wanted to :) my boyfriend says we can, anyways. Ya, it is a mixture of both, younger, and older, the older ones go to bed cuz they are old lawl :P Younger ones go to bed cuz they have to LOL and there is the random few that do what they want >< But how would we go about getting a server that has good ping in more then one country, would that be like hosting a server from a VPS ? We have our minecraft like that.

Really :) We have a minecraft server :) if you play minecraft! We are playing that right now cuz we are bored :), I guess i sound like i have a turd in my pocked >< when i say we i mean me and my boyfriend and a few friends :) Your more then welcome to join. We are trying to start a community, and host servers for games that people like to play. Like dayz, and minecraft, and killing floor we have that game to :) But building a community, has, and seems to take a long time, we do have about 60 members right now which i didnt think was bad :) Anways....msg me if you want our minecraft info :) Ours is 4 hours of day and then 2 hours of night. Then the server resets :)

Well, we have 4 hour day 2 hour nights, so it is day and night all day lol

So any takers? I know our players from our other server are stoked about the tavi server. Just havent seen very many new faces yet!

We would have no problems doing this is that is what our playerbase wanted. We have a tavi server up now, and started it w/o any mods, and they have requested to have the ones from our other server put in. Gotta take things up with the community, and majority rules. :) Did you get in trouble with your boss??? Hope not!!!
