Not familiar with Nvidia, but those settings got me from 31 to 60+ fps. is your nvidia settings, set to using in game settings?\ Also i overhear something about Nvidia cards with double cpu's that only run 1 cause arma doesnt allow 2 with default settings. something about the command -winxp try googling that. maybe u find something

nono u should come bitch at the forums now. If u want to survive and have a challenge stop herding up your camp. go solo, find bigfoot, stop rushing to Nwaf. and dont play with a bigass group. Use what u can get your hands on, in simulater with zombies, and hospitals and airports, and military bases, they're also good weapons. and people will use them. just like they would IRL. If u can't handle that try fallen earth. u can use a metal pole, with a concrete block on it. If u want a challenge make one. plenty of room for creativity. I like the search for higher tier weapons. if we only had low tier weapons, i' be decked out in 15 minutes. shoot 2-3 players and log off after a day of dayz to not come back for months. Right now. the fact i usually die before im 100% geared out. and the thrill off keeping my loot save (Mind u i play solo or with 1-2 friends) I dont run a roflstomp clan of 5-10 people wich also takes up 20% server room. so less compitition. and we all swarm small places and have huge camps with 50x all good loot. I take it slow, i camp towns, i play realistic, i avoid zombies, i live off the forest, and when i see a person who has something i need, i chase him, wait for a save and clean kill without attracting zombies. Unlike some people, who have a 10man clan on a hill with 5 a50's shooting everything that moves. and cause they don't get all 10killed by 1 guy with a lee enfield, this game is to easy and boring. I say stop nagging, give proper feed back, but stop complaining about how OP weapons are. u can't just remove weapons cause they are strong,

Not sure what your current settings in game are, but make sure u have Vsync enabled. viewdistance not over 2000. anti alliansing disabled video memory at default (This makes sure he uses the max of the card) post process effects disabled. and 3d resolution at 100% the rest of the graphics is mainly what u prefer. I run everything at very high, except shadow, objects and HDR cause they do not really make much of a diffrence in how nice it looks. but they do grant u a extra 4-7 fps. with this setup on 3 years old pc i run at 60 fps. very smooth. Also u will notice your mouse handling increases by alott.

does sixupdater now have the right files? i just updated there, with beta patch 94876 joined a server, got stuck on loading with a full loading bar, heard gun shots constantly. but couldnt get in.

I'd like to know what the multiplier is from a headshot. is it a flat x2? or is there a more deeper calculation?

that still doesnt give me a value. leg shots and toe shots and finger shots and chest shots wether in the heart or not also share 1 value. and i know a headshot doesnt garuantee a kill. being at 11L of blood. a revolver took of 9L so i concluded this is 2x damage. but a L85a2 Aws with 3555 dmg, i gave 1 headshot, 1 body shot. on 12L using the 2x damage value for the headshot, he shold have lost 10.665L however he die from it and it was 100% sure at 12L the time between shots was 1.5 seconds, and im pretty sure he didnt lose 1.4L of bleed effects during that time. therfor either the damage value of the L85 isnt 3555. or headshot damage is higher in assault rifles. Also let's not compare Reall life to a simulator. cause a hatchet in the face surely would kill you. but it doesnt in dayz.

guy on se 3 teleporting around with a silenced m9 shooting folks, went back to where we died, gave him a 20 clip g17 in the ass, and some revolver shots confirmed atleast 12 hits. didnt even blink. turned around and headshotted with 1 bullet. not sure of cheater, but fairly suspicious. couldn't see the name tag either.

Aaah, a topic filled with people who can't aim and got mad cause they lost they're makarov. Get reall, this is dayz this is OUR story. can do what we want. Next thing your gonna bitch like those MMo scrubs that u want a pve only server cause u cant stand the bandits. Trying to bring morals into a game thats about survival is plain stupid surviving means do whatever it takes. and who are you to judge what someone else finds survival. I kill anyone on sight and will try to loot them for food, and ammo. do i get a thrill out of hunting people? sure, do i do it for surviving, Yes. do i like my high murder count? Yes. Plus you kinda brought it to yourself at the point where everyone shoots everyone, im not saying you specificly cause the people in this threat probably are just the baddies who only die. but u can't get passed anymore with being friendly and afterwards getting shot in the head. Also if u ask me, if everyone was friendly right now, with zombies being so easy to kill, where's the challenges, run into a town agro all the mobs run into a house, throw a grenade. free loot. bandits/threat lurking under each tree adds paranoia to me, a sence of adrenaline i've never felt in any game, it makes my will to survive even stronger, and walking aroun d with a giant gun and not using it onec in a while feels a waste of inventory space, so target practice that dumb survivor sitting in the middle of the field trying to find a boar doesnt even make me feel guiilty. 18 days 23 minutes alive. 271 zombies killed 22 murders 8 bandits killed.

downloaded the latest beta patch at http://www.arma2.com/beta-patch.php got a "Wrong cd key error" clicked ok. instaled anyway. then proceeding to login. the launcher shows the correct version but somehow i still get a message ingame saying "Your using an incorrect version of DAY_CODE"
