IRL a jerry can would easily fit in a mountain back pack or even a drybag if you look at the size of the models heck an m4 should fit in a mountain/dry-bag backpack realistically. But with jerrycans I think they should be skinnier in inventory slots but only once the stamina system is implemented properly, so you would have to move slow with all that fuel on your back for balance reasons but faster then walking with a jerry in hand, and allowing a one hand grip on your weapon still at the cost of accuracy while holding a jerry in off-hand, at the moment it makes me laugh sprinting though the woods holding a jerry in one hand like its a can of beans... Also would be nice if you get shot and if the jerry is hit it renders it useless (as would be a hole in it, no Hollywood explosion please) but repairable with duct tape and chewing gum (or alternate repair method) :D also smaller jerrycan,s like the blown plastic type, would be nice.

you can chuck the map files over to arma 3 and fly around cherarus+ in a little bird :D

Woot! I got really p'dd off when my char warped through a wall on the upper floor of a building and fell to my death!.....

Its because the RV engine is flawed in the fact that it doesn't utilize all your GPU or CPU and alot of stuff still gets dumped to CPU rather then letting the GPU do what it was designed to do. this problem was addressed in ArmA 3 alpha and was ignored through beta and still resides in the release version! hope with rocket leading this dev team that things will go better..... for now O/Cing the processor is the only way round this flaw best make sure you have good cooling!!

Ive found A press vest in a station before it was in that town thats still in progress near guba(NE of Olsha), im not sure if its more armoured then a chest rig but it has less inventory slots

I bet DayZ would of been awesome on the cryengine though the map properly wouldn't be as big but yea the hardcore sim like realism of the RV engine outways most I do like it but its verry clunkly and needs a major overhaul, I was appalled at Arma 3 having the same inherent issues as Arma 2 not utilizing all of the CPU or GPU or utilizing SLI properly and then having the same problems in dayZ? its a joke tbh how old is arma2? they should have work on optimisation as a major priority or I don't see BI surviving tbh least rocket is a better lead dev then most

you can also open the boot/trunk on the cars also the loot on the back seat can invisible/sunken and be hard to reach but you can get at it and map pieces can be combined together also

learning how to handle player interactions without the KOS mentality is more fun imo

The way I see rocket going with it it is you will find Soviet weapons around the map mosin, ak, sks, etc and you get UK,US,Nato weapons etc will be found from heli crashes m4, l85, maybe a M24? would love a l96 sniper tho :D loot atm is place holder as all loot spawns everywhere (alpha)

theres no high tier security (vac/battleye) yet as they are still ironing out local client security first its still more secure then the mod in its current form rocket stated this in a post

For me I use both 3rd and 1st person first person when clearing buildings and in combat etc but you need third for certain situations due to design flaws to fix the issue they just have do what they did in the vanilla dayz mod and have 1st and 3rd person servers don't need separate hives that's more work then they need right now (if you like first then you filter for first person servers only how hard is that?) then all partys are happy!! i'd rather them fix the loot system, combat logging, server hopping, animation glitches etc and other game breaking bugs tbh

there not really too accurate at longer ranges try sniping with the mosin and hitting a moving target at 800+ meters :P really dunno how that first guy didn't hear you and with the second you outplayed him by flanking round. but in all I would like a bit more recoil added tbh so it requires more skill to control etc
