I swear that anyone with a Ghille Suit I run into is an admin because I let off an entire AK-74 mag into a face of a guy wearing a Ghillie Suit and he just looked up at me and one shotted me with a M4A1 CCO Wtf? its so annoying I swear they are getting God mode

Oh and another quick story, was in the Millitary Camp just opposite of Balota Airstrip and I watch a bandit hop over and come in and he saw me so I quickly went for cover and he did a whistle to get me to luck, but I dont think he saw my little trick coming........Threw a frag over the tents xD as he was wounded I went down and put about 4-5 shots into his face with an AKM and it came up '1 Bandit killed'..................Sweet Justice

Recently me and 3 friends were playing DayZ and we lasted a long time, I personally was on 14 dayZ (:D) and we thought, oh we wont be faggots and go back and kill new players/new characters so we discussed going to the NW Airfield which we all knew was dangerous but we thought it would be fun so why not, we had an AK-74 Kobra, AKM, Lee Enfield and a Winchester 1886 unfortunately we were on GB servers cos we are from GB so it meant it was dark which was kind of good because you can turn up your brightness and gamma, etc. but sometimes that doesnt work so me and 1 person (Me with AKM and other with AK-74 Kobra) crawled up the airfield following about 3-4 guys to our suspicion the 3 being new to the game or DayZ and the other 1 being like the leader who was fairly skilled, and it turned out he was. The other two people in our group were pretty much blind in the darkness but the other person I was with had NVG's which was good but just as we about to engage (in the grass in the middle of the NW airstrip) we recieve fire from the supposed leader which I think he has a M16A4 ACOG which if so no wander we didn't stand a chance so you have probably guessed it, we died the guy with that M16 was a damn good shooter too he knew how to shoot (hence why we thought he was the leader/elite/experienced arma player) so me and my friend were dropped... Not actually that annoyed because its the first action we had in a while. But then they somehow spotted the other 2 in our group (I have no idea how they were hidden so well) but they were shot in like a synchronised snipe in ARMY OF TWO. Oh well it was really fun and whoever killed this and is reading this (even though this story is about 2 days old) have fun with the huge amount of supplies we all had, M1911's, Rifles, x4 Alice backpacks, loads of food and meds, :D

About two weeks ago me and my brother are slowly looting a barn out in the nice Cherno countryside just scavangeing as you do and it was one of those barns which has 3 floors and there are some zombies in there so I drop my Double-barrel and hack em all down then as I pick my shotgun up and just as we loot one side of the building all of a sudden about 2 zombies run in so we are like "ok we can handle this" then out of no where a huge swarm ran into the barn. My brother just said to me "Hold the line!" so I fire off my two rounds in my shotgun and just think fuck it! I just run and my brother forgot that there are two ways into the barn and didn't realise so some zombies run in the back and hit him so he just runs and as we are sprinting across this massive open field for some reason I randomly think about the 28 weeks later theme tune and if Smoke Grenades didnt do what they do in DayZ we would be dead. I lead all the zombies away as my brother slugs this smoke grenade into the air and it was just quite exciting how close to death we both came. Unfortunately my PC had a Cyclic Rendundancy error and my brother played without me with my cousin and one of my bro's friend and my brother got camo gear and was teleported into the farlands never to be seen again.

In DayZ alot of the weapons are bugged compared to the base game.

Hold up, its not for excuses! Rocket is trying to get DayZ done, dont forget DayZ is techincally free unless you are retarded and buy ArmA only for DayZ, but just remember that Rocket is not recieving money from all the downloads so dont say to make work slow and to make bad patches.

Some servers have low loot or no loot at all some how just switch servers and like the previous reply said by 'Izithel' you shouldn't buy it for DayZ, ever.

This technically isn't my story but it is my friends. I normally play in a group of people in ArmA and when DayZ came around we enjoyed the mod a hella lot so its probably been about a month since we started playing and 3 of my friends (my PC is currently broken) met up after having a brutal rescue so the person who was being rescued found a Camo Outfit and one of my friend asked "Oh can I please have the camo suit!" about two days after the new 1.7.2 update came out and anyone who was wearing anything besides normal civillian clothing got teleported to THE FARLANDS as I call it. Well my friend is stranded out there loosing his backpack, camo gear, weapons (because before TPing to the Farlands it dropped him in the ocean) and he equipped the axe he had in his toolbelt and he was actually in an area where all the players are like voodoo dolls, so my friend spots a man in a ghillie suit with an alice pack and M4A1 CCO so my friend decides "oh screw it I need food" and hacks the man down not knowing that he actually died in the realworld (I.E. not the farlands) so he felt bad so instead of killing he was going to take shit out of there backpacks but he also felt bad so he returned it all and traveled east like the forums told him, but sadly his luck was running out and he went over hill after hill and eventually got to flashing hunger and thirst so he decided to respawn... The moral of the story is BE CAREFUL WITH DIFFERENT CLOTHES!!! keep it in your backpack until it is confirmed that the glitch is fixed! (just wanted to warn those unknown to these travesties!)
