If they make them harder before fixing melee weapons so you don't swing them like you're a special needs Tee Ball player, they're dumb. Also 10/22 inc. Good, hopefully we'll get the loot back in all the houses and sheds they broke. -

You want to do this why, just to troll? That's not the point of the game. Lack of loot already caused issues with server hopping that they threw a half-assed fix onto, we don't need even less usable loot, especially before they implement an actual item respawning system.

Most of the people on the hacks are complaining about blatant hacks, like teleporting. Seeing that ESP and Aimbots are starting to be reported on the forums this early into development is pretty discouraging to see, especially considering they have 2 anti-cheat systems.

I think different ammo types would be nice, but I think adding ballistic vests and plate carriers first would be best, otherwise HP ammo would always be superior to standard ball ammo in every scenario, and there'd be no counter to the HP ammo really. If the standard issue 5.45 is AP in nature then by all means, implement it that way in the game! However, if we're seeing III or IV plates for the plate carrier then it'll provide protection against up to the highest powered rifle rounds surely. As for the melee weapons, I've described what I would believe to fix the "problem" with them a few times but I'll re-post it because I'd love for the devs to see it at some point. The problem with the blunt melee weapons is not the damage, it is the way they swing. If you get headshots on players and zombies with the blunt melee weapons, it's like a two hit kill. The problem is actually getting the headshots... You'll notice, when you swing (check firstperson mode if you haven't) you don't actually swing at the crosshair, or through it. You swing in a path that is either under or besides the crosshair, so aiming your crosshair where you want to hit while using these blunt melee weapons simply doesn't work. If they would change the blunt melee weapons to swing in a path that intersects the crosshair at some point, they would be far better weapons without having to boost their damage (not to mention this fix would pave the way for more melee weapons to be added). As for the Kitchen Knife, Machete, Hammer, Screwdriver, etc... they simply need a damage boost. I hit someone about 5 times with the machete yesterday, not only did not a single hit draw blood, but his shirt hadn't taken any durability damage either... yet all of the previously mentioned one-handed weapons will kill a zombie with 3-4 headshots for some reason. -

If you are fully armed and on the coast (not including Elektro/Cherno, we all know they're massive PvP zones) you're most likely a scumfuck lurking around for fresh spawns to kill, and fair game for bandit hunters. The best thing is when they get knocked out and killed with their own weapon, though.

If you have a scope and it takes you more than one hit of 7.62x54r to get the kill you're doing it wrong. That being said, buckshot should not break knees with a single pellet hit, that's just a nuisance.

No. Sealed cans should be safe to eat, there's a reason I don't eat fresh fruit in populated servers. There's no reason to do this other than to troll people, and you've clearly never seen just how delicate a syringe is if you think they're going to easily penetrate a can. And that's only penetrating flesh. -

Winchester 1894 or Marlin 336, both are chamered in rounds still common modernly. As for the 1895, it's pretty much chambered for a bunch of outdated rounds you'd never find in even a sporting goods store, letalone common residential homes. Also, AKM but no AK-47, the AK-47 was phased out long, long ago, while to this day a ton of countries are still making AKM Clones (Romania, Bulgaria, Egypt, China, just to name a few of the more common ones). Lobaev comes off as a really odd rifle to put in as what I'm assuming would a "low-tier" Sniper Rifle, considering for everyone one of them you'd find there's probably 20 scoped rifles from the Tula plant sitting around somewhere. Then again, never heard of one until this poll so I can't really say much about it (although I'm sure that says something about how common it is, as well). -

As long as I see an AKM, an AKS-74M or AK-74M, 30 and 40 round 7.62x39 Mags, and 30 and 45 round 5.45x39 Mags, I'll be content with the AK's. Wouldn't mind seeing an RPK either, though. -
I've posted it a few different times, and in a few different threads, but... the problem with the blunt melee weapons isn't the damage, it's the way they swing. Go take a Fire Extinguisher, and put the crosshair right over a zombie's head, swing... it takes 2 or 3 headshots to kill it. The problem is, with EVERY other blunt melee weapon, they swing in a way that is so inaccurate it's ridiculous. Rather than swinging in an arc that at some point intersects with the crosshair, they swing about an inch under the crosshair on the screen, so if your crosshair is on a zombie's head, you're actually swinging and hitting at like like bicep level. If they would make the melee weapons swing horizontally at exactly crosshair level, you'd find the blunt melee weapons much more viable against both players and zombies without having to boost damage at all. Also, I'd like to see them switch the Kitchen Knife to use a stab attack rather than the silly slash it's using right now.

I wouldn't mind a .50 Muzzleloader (which in the States are actually quite common, their own hunting season and whatnot), but a Flintlock is a bit too antiquated, don't you think?

See: 'Murica. But really, how would adding a Desert Eagle be any better than adding, say, a DA Revolver in .44 or .454? Both would be extremely large caliber handcannon-like pistols that'd probably be an OHK at close range, and besides the extra round in the Desert Eagle both would function the same while the Revolvers would be far more believable. If you really wanted to see a Desert Eagle in game, I'd just stick with suggesting a stainless or matte black as well, the chances of them being added are probably a bit more likely.

So for the past week or so, instead of making a thread on every small suggestion I had, I just added it to a list. Some are item suggestions, some are changes to gameplay features, some are just some potpourri miscellaneous suggestions. You'll notice some things on my suggestion list were (to my surprise) actually added in 0.34 (list started before this update), so I've marked them as so. I'll update this occasionally because, as I said, it's a lot cleaner than just making a thread everytime you have a suggestion. I could make a ton more weapon suggestions if I felt like adding military-grade weapons in, but with the arsenal we saw in the DayZ mod I'm sure the dev team already knows most of what they're going to add when it comes to that category. IIRC, I've seen a video of a teleport hack on Youtube before, and it was posted on the forums I believe. He had a Fire Axe, and he was teleporting all around a guy who was crouched in a tree line hitting him with the Axe.
