I don't want to see guns become super rare, I want them to become a bit less common than they are right now. I also want to see melee weapons made useful (they are quite nice in the experimental at the moment, I must say). These homemade bows we saw are a bad, bad idea. It gives fresh spawns very early access to a ranged weapon, it'll become the new fists and next think we know it's fucking cowboys and indians as everyone in their mother goes for a bow as soon as they spawn.

He can leave if he wants, he's leaving it in Bohemia's hands apparently. I haven't actually played Arma 3 but it seems like that game was a relative success and at least decently managed, so it's not like development of the game will stop completely, in fact the remaining development team will probably have more resources and staff available with Bohemia. -
Had this happen to me once, logged out in the middle of nowhere and when I logged back in my pants, backpack, and gun were gone, but my hoodie, motorcycle helmet, fire axe, boots, and ammo for the gun were still there. I was also still at healthy status with no ruined gear, so it's not like someone knocked me unconcious and looted things. That was weird. As for full character wipes, I've not had any except when they performed the actual wipe just a bit after release.

I thought constantly joining 1 person servers sounded kind of fishy in the OP, but now you've kind of admitted to server hopping pretty openly. I mean, I understand that it sucks that gear doesn't respawn (and that respawning items would completely fix hopping), but that's generally frowned upon in this community. Also, thanks. -

I've suggested track jackets and pants before, I've seen a few others suggest it as well. I wouldn't necessarily say that we should add them because they're "Gopnik", but rather the same reason they've added cargo pants and hoodies to the game... they're just something you see people walking around in day to day.

People are literally in denial. Search up "DayZ Standalone Hacks" on Youtube, you'll notice that a lot are uploaded in the past few weeks, and there's been an increasingly larger amount of hack reports recently. Look at the Youtube video names, you'll notice a lot of big name cheat websites in the titles and descriptions. Honestly, I'm pretty sure that a few of the big name cheating websites just recently released some official hacks and we've just gotten stuck with a wave of hackers using the new products, it'll die down a bit once they start getting detected I'm sure, but you can't deny that we're seeing more hacking now than ever in the Alpha.

Maybe we'll get lucky and see the AK-74m and Ruger 10/22 in the same patch, then! They have had the model completed for the AK-74m for quite awhile, they were using it before the offical Alpha release in videos and screenshots, and they also have the Ruger 10/22 model completed (they've released screenshots of it in-game already).

I had already asked for a Colt Official Police or S&W Model 10, but are quite similar but chambered in .38 (Official Police was chambered in a few more off calibers as well). So I guess if they wanted to add another revolver but not a new caliber this'd be a good option, or an M1917.

So you want the game to be even more of a hiking and camping simulator? Sorry, but no thanks, you're more or less asking for a DayZ without firearms from what I can read.
