Flaming and arguments aside, the small Steam info leak (if you can call it that) is promising considering how little actual info the Devs are giving us. The "Standalone Server" is debatable I guess, considering it may not even be legitimate, but again, with how little we actual know I'm sure we're all hoping that this all adds up to some evidence of a soon-to-be early access release.

Backwards progress. ;_; That, or they changed the name to stop people from looking it up (which clearly didn't work too well?).

Sounds fun. The comments on the server page are oh so silly, though. I upvoted his comment, and I'm not underaged. To be honest, this is the most elitist and immature thing you could have posted. You should be absolutely ashamed to have even typed this into a forum post, and the sad thing is that you weren't even intelligent enough to edit your post, you just doubleposted. Call of Duty wasn't released long ago on the Xbox? What the hell are you even going on about? Call of Duty was a great series up to Call of Duty 4, I can't stand when people bandwagon on and talk about how they hate Call of Duty just because that's what the rest of the internet says. Frankly, Call of Duty 3 was released only on consoles (including the Xbox), and that game was released before Call of Duty became a "kids series". Think before you post.

I guess I'm not super well known on the forums so maybe my opinion is moot, but I agree with you completely. Personally, I got Battlefield 4 for $48 through a certain gaming website I'll avoid advertising (although that's a pretty good deal in my opinion), yet I'll likely be buying DayZ Standalone as it comes out despite such a close release date to Battlefield 4. Honestly, most "casual" players have already lost interest after waiting a year with the dev team sharing such little information about the development process. And jacking the price up would be an absolutely moronic decision on their part, especially for the reasoning of "keeping casuals away". $60 for a game is ridiculous, I'd not have bought BF4 if I had to pay full price, really, $50 for a digital download game is ridiculous as well. Overkill got their pricing right with the recent release of Payday 2, now THAT'S a company that knows how to cater to PC Gamers. Take notes, Dev Team. I'd also hope to see at least a mild discount for those who purchase the early release, after this long in development I'm sure a lot of people have mixed opinions on what the final product will look like, reward those who show faith and loyalty through purchasing before the product is complete.

Walked into a barn and had a choice between a Double-Barreled Shotgun, Winchester 1866, and Lee Enfield. I took the Winchester 1866 and then put the Lee Enfield in my backpack... or so I thought since it wasn't on the ground/in my normal inventory. What had happened, however, was since I tried to fit the 10 slot rifle into my 8 slot bag, it fell through an invisible wormhole into the abyss never to be seen again, and I don't realize it till quite a bit later.

Make sure Steam is running as Administrator as well as the patch.
