I would not mind having the stand alone in FPV, though I know there would be quite a few DayZ players who would disagree to such. As much as you want to play in FPV, if its a TPV enabled server, then you are just handicapping yourself sadly. Its one of those exploits which pretty much everyone ignores because everyone uses it, and that is not right considering the arma series at its core is supposed to be a realistic simulator.

If the game was to say...get an economy system in the future where Bullets=currency, I wonder how this would affect the current KoS? Would it lead to more KoS's due to wanting your valuable bullets, or will it lead to less for not wanting to waste money when you could be getting a valuable ally?

Gotta agree with the vibe of this topic so far and these things from the recent patch all combine to make the game not enjoyable anymore. 1: Zombies tend to not use attack animations anymore and just instant knock you down/infect/damage you by just standing there or crouching there. 2: In combination with the new zombie attacks and infection chances, the loot for weapons to combat them (zombies still do the retarded strafing, showing they are not zombies but intelligent beings), and the medical supplies to help yourself and friends when fighting these super zeds are nearly non-exsistant. 3: When combining the previous two factors and the zed detection range on sound and sight, even at 1 bar on each, makes escape nearly impossible. I understand Zed were just a pesky annoyance before, but now they are beings of destruction which are better off avoided at all costs now. Camping simulator 2013 is what this game feels like now.

I remember ruthlessly killing three players I found there with a m249 I had at the time, and then drinking a mountain dew I looted from them ontop of one of their corpses there. Perhaps I pleased the old god the sleeps there because I usually find the UAZ up there when I go and check it out on a new server.

And this is exactly why thermal sight needs to be removed from the game. Camoflauge/ghille skins and properly hiding yourself in bushes/trees means nothing to such a thing. Hell, I am still impartial on the whole NVG thing and think everyone should be running around with flashlights/chemlights/flares/underbarrled flashlights

After running around with a squad that had an L85 I must agree that [edit] thermal vision [edit] has no place in this game. If you/your squad does not have one of these, you are easy pickings for any sniper that has one as it can detect heat up to a near 1000 meter range. NVG's are one thing, but this item IS godtier in a game of survival.

Let us not forget that cursed mountain, the one of which we do not utter its name for fear of it hearing and waking.

I thought I had forgotten about that place. It was deemed forbidden and forgotten, and one still yet mentions the name of that cursed place. Beware that cursed tower.

What little trust in fellow their fellow man players did have was lost at bandit skin removal. Most players simply shoot on site or alt+F4 when they see see me approaching. The game is still fun to play and is not any worse, just the only people I play with now is my vent crew.

I always carry three morphine with me as well due to how bad this game is with breaking bones from glitches and falling off a rock the height of a small fence. Gotta agree that it should be temporarily removed until it works properly.

I would use it more if the aiming on it was fixed and you could have more than one bolt per inventory space. If it came in bolt pouches of five bolts, that would help nicely.

I set up 3+ camps where each one was 10 or more tents, and seeing some of the tents disappear infrequently only to reappear. Then the whole camp will disappear randomly at some point. My experience with them is bad.

All I am going to say is, with no bandit skin I am highly more likely to shoot any player I come across on general premise that I do not know them and unsure if they will shoot me before I shoot them. I can see the player killings happening a lot more often from this reason alone now.

Here's hoping I do not end up like those military corpses/zombies at the airbases. At least I have access to some good gear right off the bat! And to hell with beans and sardines, ill stock up on MRE's.

I have been seeing an increase of this as well with some servers. I usually see it done around late night central USA time for about 4-6 hours with the same group of people in the servers before it opens up to the public. After seeing this almost every other day with some of the same servers, it sure does smell fishy. And no one likes that fishy smell.

Getting this as well with almost every server I tried joining. Only servers I could join was the NZ ones, and then got kicked for a ping to high (152).

I think hospitals and at certain military structures would be good for it. Would make sense for the military to be properly geared for cold weather if need be.

Back home my family has quite a few of the guns present on the game and after hearing the noises of them in game it just sounds weird. I guess next time I am home on leave from base I will take my few guns with me to do some sound tests with the whole lot of them. We will try for multiple samples from the same weapon in a zero noise area for pure sound quality as well.

Alright, unsure whats going on here but Virginia 05 seems to crash almost twice daily. Even when the server is not full on people! All the Virginia servers would appear to be less stable as well when compared to the Dallas and Chicago ones.

Whenever any of my English speaking friends and me start playing on a RU server we usually get kicked off as soon as we start speaking English. If you want to speak different languages and not get banned on the English speaking servers, then how about this gets fixed as well?

Gotta agree with Mojo on this. At the current moment people can too easily play the death dodging game with alt+F4. Generally leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you and friends waste ammo on people that start a firefight with you, just to duck around a corner or inside foliage and dodging out.
