How big is the Hacker player base?
Pro (DayZ) replied to Pro (DayZ)'s topic in DayZ Mod General Discussion
Thanks for the replies guys, guess I'll go try out a few anti-hack Servers. :) -
Was just wondering. Haven't played the DayZ Mod in almost 2 years now. I've quit the Standalone for a while as I've got bored of it, but am thinking about returning to the Mod. What is the hacker ratio? Is it still flooded like the Server were in 2012? Would appreciate all replies. Thanks. -Pro

Might want to change that little Dayz intro. A lot of Frankie-Fanboys are going to scream at you.

Reminds me of Fallout.

Just found them, they came in the latest patch (I think?) Forgive if I'm wrong, I've ever found a pair so I just presumed it came in the latest patch.

Which Processor should I buy to run DayZ: SA?

Thanks a bunch, ordered it with a Electrostatic Wristband. Should be getting it Friday. :) I don't know how to repay you, so I'll just give you some beans. XD -
Which Processor should I buy to run DayZ: SA?
Pro (DayZ) replied to Pro (DayZ)'s topic in Technology/Programming
Yeah, that really sucks. Found out yesterday, thanks for the reply though. Socket FM2 Motherboards are going for between £30-£50 on Amazon. This is the sort of Motherboard I'm looking for right? http://www.amazon.co.uk/MSI-FM2-A55M-E33-AMD-Micro-Motherboard/dp/B009LT4F3E/ref=sr_1_1?s=computers&ie=UTF8&qid=1398190969&sr=1-1&keywords=socket+fm2+motherboard Sorry, just wanted to clarify just in case. So would my computer be able to change motherboards fine? They're isn't no size difference or anything? I don't want to waste like £40 on something my computer can't even use. Thanks. -Pro -
Which Processor should I buy to run DayZ: SA?
Pro (DayZ) replied to Pro (DayZ)'s topic in Technology/Programming
Thanks a bunch guys for the help, I really appreciate it. Although this may not be the wisest thing to do, but I'm going to buy one now, as I am pretty desperate to play DayZ. My current setup is not DayZ- friendly at all. Even in un-populated, isolated areas like open fields or small villages I get lag. So it's really not worth playing and I'm desperate to play. I am infact buying it mainly for DayZ but other games as well (Not really performance-hungry games like Battlefield and CoD and what not) But just games like Left 4 Dead 2, Minecraft. Y'know, the games that don't require much at all. All 3 of them really have around the same performance? Hmm, I think I'll buy the Athlon II 740 then, given that it's £8 less than the 750. Then and again, the APU A6 6400k is £16 less than the 750, so I'll be saving myself a decent amount, but I've read some reviews and comparisons online and the 740 apparently is quite a bit better than that APU performance-wise, so the extra £8 is worth it. Oh also, one more question. I'm sorry if this sounds idiotic, I'm not really that knowledgeable around technology and what not, but my computer apparently has a FT1 BGA Socket, and all of these processors have a FM2 Socket, will my computer be able to use them? Thanks for the replies once again. -Pro -
-CPU: Athlon II X4 740 3.20 GHz Quad Core Processor / AMD Athlon II x4 750k 3.4 GHz Quad Core Processor / AMD APU A6 6400K 3.9 GHz Quad Core Processor (Which one should I buy?) My specs are as follows (Excluding CPU): -4gb RAM-64 bit Operating System-Video Card: AMD RADEON HD 6320 GRAPHICS (I know it's not that great, but it passes the minimum requirements of DayZ, so that's adequate enough for me) CPU SPEED: 1.65 GHz (Obviously will be upgraded upon buying a new processor) Would appreciate all replies and advice Thanks. :) -Pro. P.S Before you ask, I know the selection I'm thinking of buying are not the best, fastest, processor I could buy, but I'm on a tight budget atm, so I haven't got much choice. I'm pretty sure these are good enough to at least get no lag in cities though. I've seen a few Youtube vids on them. However, if there's a much better processor I could buy for not that much more, please you're more than welcome to share. I may chip in some more money to buy it.
