that is a great Idea with the morale drops when killing people, banditry would lower and it would make people think whether killing is worth it, of course by 10+ kills you should have no effect and be a cold blooded killing machine

I think he used the Real Virtuality Engine because he already worked at Bohemia Interactive (not 100% on this though) and also most of the stuff was already there, he just needed to add some stuff or edit certain scripts. If he used Cryengine 3, creating a map as large as Chernarus would take forever and would also be a bitch to run on most PC's I would imagine, and he would have to create loads of new code etc. It might be a possible option if the game were to be developed as a standalone and had lots of support and a proper team working on it, but at the moment, it would be too much hassle

I was lying on a hill near Mogilevka I think it is, anyway I saw someone with a pistol coming into town, instead of shooting him, I killed all the zombies that started chasing him and helped him get through the town and find some supplies all without him knowing where I was.

That is a great idea man, not sure if possible but maybe the player only stays behind if he aborts or Alt+F4's and if the player is disconnected due to connection errors or something then he disappears instantly. again not sure if any code can be written to detect what the reason the player disconnected but if so it would make it safe for people with connection errors and make server hopping and DCing in a fight impossibru

This is what it should be like, but to many PKers makes it hard lol, I have told people I see to move along and try not to kill them if I do not have to, most of the time they listen and just leg it away, but I have never gone up to them like that

As people have mentioned playing solo and in a team both have pros and cons, I have mainly played with one other friend and it seems to work great, except when he shot me accidently breaking a bone in the process and me shooting him accidently killing him. Solo is just more challenging and decisions are more important, if you mess up on your own you are a goner, whereas with a friend they might be able to save you. Finally, if you are solo trust nobody, especially if you have good gear, it's just not worth it.

Use it to your advantage, use a really hidden tent to pack your stuff in the middle, leave the rest empty, people will come to loot and probably give up after 7 or so tents of nothing, leaving your stuff all good in the hood.

well I play on a desktop but my friend I play with uses a Laptop, the specs being: CPU: i7 RAM: 6GB DDR3 GPU: Integrated Intel Graphics He plays on Low settings and it runs pretty smoothly
