The post Rocket made never mentioned anything about a standalone version soon. Just said it will be developed as a standalone game alongside the mod.

"according to him" Yeah like other people have said, I'll wait till some gameplay footage of dayz in arma 3 before I get to happy.

So he's going to use the ARMA 3 engine? Link? If he uses the ARMA 3 engine, he's going to have to start all over again probably. Not sure how simple the process will be, but it will mean more work so less updates.

Rather have a fully working mod before working on a standalone. Going to double the amount of work he has to do so less updates. Not to keen on the idea.

Thanks to SmacknTumble for helping me out. Bandaged me up, Blood bagged me and gave me morphine all at the NW airfield.

Anyone near NW airfield and willing to help someone who is unconscious, broken legs, bleeding at only at 3.6k health? I'm right outside the Barracks near the control tower so it's pretty risky but I don't mind hopping onto a low populated server to reduce the risk.

Would love to do that. But If they have NV goggles and I don't, they are going to kill me pretty easily imo.

What's the best way to find them? I know they only spawn in 2 locations. The barracks at the airfield and crash sites, so is it fair to server hop to find them? And how would you go about doing that? How far do you have to go to get the loot to respawn?

Just posting to say thanks to someone Forum Name: +Ben+ Steam Name: Browner In Game Name: Ben Helped me out in the Stary tents when I broke my leg while the server was near midnight so barely any visiblity. But he had NV goggles and came to me in one of the tents, gave me some morphine and even gave a Bison PP-19 SD with 3 clips. Also gave me some extra morphine and a blood bag just in case.
